I've just been through a 4-5 week period of 3 visits a week to get a painful back problem under some control and I am feeling better. I went to this practice, which looked to me from the website like a kind of urgent care clinic, to…read moreget checked out after a car accident which they did do. The doctor did a short exam and then had a tech do some x-rays but said she really needed an MRI and recommended a place they they "work with" - Central Florida Imaging (you can find it on their website.) After the x-rays, the doctor didn't return to explain the images. They sent in a "case manager" who pointed out that I had an "abnormal curvature" in my spine and pushed in a salesman kind of way to get on their treatment plan - not fully explaining what that was and how long it would last. I declined because they are not on my health insurance (neither is the MRI lab) and I wanted to see how this was going to be covered by auto insurance. They recommended that I see an attorney and gave me the number of one they work with. I decided to get a second opinion from an orthopedic spine surgeon. He said the "abnormal curvature" was within the range of normal and that I just needed to take it easy for a few weeks to allow the trauma from the car accident to heal. He was right - it did heal without any additional treatment. This is 11 months after the accident, and I got a bill from Integrative Physical Medicine about a week ago for the exam. I asked the billing person why they didn't bill my health insurance (for out-of-network benefits), and she said they don't work with any health insurances - just auto insurance PIP.

With his guidance, I learned how to manage my hives effectively, and I haven't had a problem with them in a couple of years. I also see him for neck and back issues. Whenever something comes up, he evaluates it carefully and provides effective treatment that truly helps. Over time, his care has significantly reduced my neck and back pain, improved my mobility, and made everyday activities much more comfortable.
