Needed a 16" x 24" piece of glass for a little table to wrought iron table-top, other places wanted $49 + tax for a 1/8" thick glass (ridiculous)! Oviedo Glass made me a 1/4" thick glass top for $35 + tax and made it in the 10 minutes it took me to drive to their shop! Great pricing, fantastic service, the lady at the front desk was as nice as you could ever ask for! I will go nowhere else other than Oviedo Glass for anything I need in the future, they are kind and will not rip you off, the best! read more

Had purchased a home and part of the deal was that after I move in, the previous owner had hired Oviedo Glass to install a new exterior front door and back door. It's now been almost two years since install - and it makes since why they only offer a 1 year warranty since I've had so many issues. You'd expect that paying thousands of dollars for a door installation, it would last? Not here. Now, being a naïve first time home owner, I didn't ask enough questions or know what to ask/look for with a door installation. I'm listing the issues i've had with BOTH doors below. My recommendation is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR DOOR INSTALLATION. Maybe they're great with windows, but not doors. Home Depot is more expensive, but they offer a lifetime warranty and actually make sure the doors they install are sealed and can handle the elements. Two guys from Oviedo Glass came out and installed the doors.. it's an 1950's built concrete block home, so they had trouble removing the old frames. Fast forward to now, I've had multiple issues with the doors. 1. You can see light through the space between the front door and the door frame since they didn't fit the door properly and during heavy rain events, it gets through into the house. Has soaked my carpet a few times. 2. At one point the back door was swung open by the wind and it came straight off the hinges. I was able to put it back on, but saw that they used 1/3 inch screws to screw the hinges into the door and doorframe??? How is this supposed to be sturdy and hold? I had to redrill into the frames and use longer screws to put it back on. 3. Water also leaks through the metal footer that they installed under the back door.. this has ruined some drywall. Overall, very disappointed and will not recommend Oviedo Glass. read more

My mom had simple glass job, replacing the glass in 24" X 18" picture frame. Oviedo Glass was highly professional and provided excellent and timely service at very reasonable price. The frame was ready the same day and installed the class in the frame with picture and backing to ensure there were no finger prints on inside of glass. I hope to use them in future for bigger projects. read more

We purchased windows for our entire house from Oviedo Glass (over $15k). It was a nightmare from day one with the installers, wrong windows, broke the old window in our bedroom when they were removing it and glass went everywhere AND didn't clean it, didn't make the custom windows in the front of the house correctly and had to be re-ordered and now a center divider piece of the window looks like it is rusting. We have tried everything to clean it but it won't come off. We had the old windows for over 20 years and this never happened. After calling and speaking with the owner Randy, my wife was hung up on. She feels like she is being discriminated against because she is a woman and Puerto Rican. We need this taken care of immediately. read more

EVERYTHING! From the very beginning working with Malinda and all the front staff to the end working with the installers Josh and Sam. During a very difficult time for me, this company and people made it a blessing for me!!! From the very beginning working with Malinda in helping me choose the right door for me, she could have picked the most expensive out of the three I chose but instead picked what was the best overall coverage for my situation. The door came in on the date as stated and with Covid everything is taking longer! She set up a date for installation. Oh, and did I mention, Josh came out prior to delivery to quell my fears of damaging my 24 year old entryway tile. He didn't promise me it wouldn't get damaged, only that he would do his best. Then came Sam who was a prior tile installer and knew exactly what he was doing. Josh and Sam were professional, caring and took painstaking care of making sure everything was done right from beginning to end. As my husband used to say, "measure twice and cut once!" That's what they did. End result, I have a very lovely, beautifully installed door and I would recommend this company to anyone. Customer service is not dead!!! read more

My first encounter with this company I was singing their praises. The salesperson was helpful, responded quickly and overall great. Day of install it all went downhill. The installer was out for the day so they sent the owner's son. He did a terrible job installing the door! He only used six screws to secure it to the house, later found out that 10-12 should be used. The door was crooked and you had to push it in order to lock it. It was a shoddy job to say the least. To make matters worse, the factory secured the sidelites to the door with 12 very visible screws. Typically this is done behind the weather stripping to make a clean look but we still have 12 very visible and ugly screws. We ordered bronze for the accessories but we have bronze hinges and silver threshold. The owner told us that was our responsibility to mention. After bringing all these things to the attention of the owner he came out to look. He was beyond unpleasant, saw nothing wrong and gave excuses for anything we pointed out. We withheld payment and they sent out the actual installer that fixed multiple items. Unfortunately nothing can be done about the 12 very visible ugly screws. The worst part is that the wood filler soaked up the stain and now they are even more visible. The door should never had been installed. Every one of their people that came out said the factory should not have done that! So why would they accept the door and then install it!!! Buyer beware!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! Unfortunately no matter what happens the owner has the say and he is a very stubborn man. They discounted our $3700 door by $100! Absolutely ridiculous!!! read more

TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE I called over a week ago to replace a small front window, took 4 days to get someone out to my place for measurements (im less than 15 minutes from the business) they came measured my window and told me they'd call back with an estimate. 2days go by with no call, they call to tell me they need to come back to REMEASURE, guess they didnt get it right the first time even tho this is ALL they specialize in?! after they came by i still got no follow up call, i called next day and they told me the two techs left handling my service have left for the day, i called hours before close?! So i said leave a message tell them to call me in the morning, business opens at 8AM & by 1 pm i still hadn't received a call, i called the business multiple times only to be hung up on or put on hold?! i finally called a personal number of one of the techs to which he informs me "oh ya we were gonna call you, the other tech working with me said "HE DIDNT WANT TO DO THE JOB" SO I HAD TO CALL TO FIND OUT YOU ARE REFUSING SERVICE You should probably keep people informed instead of making them track u down for an answer when i could have gone with another business a WEEK ago read more

Could not be happier! Our gardener damaged the outer pane of glass on one of our French doors and then stopped returning our calls. So we were stuck paying to fix it. Every other company we talked to, and there were at least 10, insisted that the only thing they could do would be to replace the entire SET of doors, for a whopping $1000!!! We called Oviedo glass on Friday, and the guys were out Monday with a new window, which was actually nicer than the old one! It was $350 to replace it, it looks fantastic, and the guys were done in under 20 minutes. Couldn't recommend Oviedo glass more highly. read more

I had checked online for the sliding glass door roller assembly I needed, I couldn't find it. Ace Hardware recommended I ask Oviedo Glass. I went to the office and a knowledgeable young lady assisted me. She didn't have what I needed but got me the part numbers and gave me two other businesses along with their phone numbers that might have my part. She then decided to check with one of the men back in the shop, took the part I had brought along, was gone a few minutes then returned with 2 used duplicates of the part I needed, she charged me a nominal fee and now I can complete the repairs and get my sliding glass doors back in place and working! Oviedo Glass did an outstanding job in replacing 3 windows for my wife and I. The windows were double pane that had developed cloudiness between the double panes. They were the 3rd company I called for estimates. 1st company came out and didn't follow up with the estimate. The 2nd company didn't show up for the estimate. Oviedo glass was perfect with almost immediate call back for a verbal estimate, setting a home visit, and being on time for the on-site estimate. Within a day or so they called with the actual estimate (which was close if not on the mark to the verbal). We paid 50% down so they could order the replacement windows. Within a week or so they called and scheduled the install. The installers showed up on-time and completed the job in less that 2 hours. Their work areas upon completion were thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed before they left. If needed we would use them again without hesitation. Highly recommend Oviedo Glass. Came to replace a window. I was told they didn't have the size and type of glass I needed, they would have to take measurements to the shop, order the glass and cut the glass and bring it back. Why they didn't have the glass and tools with them I don't know. I ended up paying more than I was quoted (they weren't sure how long it would take to get back with the glass and might have to special order it). However they had glass at the shop that would work. Now it's leaking. They said they don't warranty the "reglazed glass" which means replacing the glass and not the frame. Please make note of that before you decide. Also was told I have to wait until they are on this side of town so that I'm not charged a service fee for coming out. So basically I paid for a replacement that isn't guaranteed because they didn't replace the frame. They may or may not be out today. Will keep an update. read more
