I ordered the country fried steak and gravy special. It came out hot, but could tell instantly it was frozen food thawed. It was! And it wasn't even a high quality frozen patty. It had gristles throughout it. The potatoes were covered with the white gravy also, which helped hide the taste. Not sure if they were prepackaged potatoes because of the gravy. And who on their right mind puts white gravy on country fried steak??? The cornbread was more of a corn cake and it was bland. The baked beans were the highlight, but not that they were super good or anything, just better than the rest. I have two stars because the service really was good and friendly. Oh, and there was a massive big dead bug right beside my table. I guess the food killed it.

The folks working there were great. We didn't realize until after we ordered that it was like 20 minutes before closing. Once we saw they were closing soon we apologized and offered to leave before they started preparing our meal (because walking in a restaurant at closing time is a jerk move for sure). They assured us it was no problem and acted like they were still happy to have us there. Food choice was huge (BBQ, burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, plus tons of appetizers and desserts too), restaurant was clean, people were nice. We will be back for sure!
