They didn't get back to us. 3 more calls later over half a week I finally got a manager to call me back. Said the guy only charged us $60 to flip the switch, the other $79 was a "dispatch fee". Yes I looked at the box and missed the tripped switch I thought I got them all but come on we payed $139 for 10 minutes of work. They refused to refund us anything from their overpriced fees. Best he could was waive some fees on our next call. Spoiler alert there isn't going to be a next call with the way we were treated. Hey Lee Company, don't treat people like this. The repair failed, and the water intrusion kept happening. When I told him about it, he denied there was an issue and never made any attempt to fix it. I ended up filing in small claims court. After 3 hearings, the case ultimately hinged on a technicality, proving the exact cause of water intrusion legally requires expert witness testimony, and hiring that expert would have cost more than what it's worth. So the case didn't get decided on the actual merits of whether the repair failed. It did fail. He just never tried to make it right like most contractors would. I paid a significant amount for this job. His other reviews suggest he may be fine for small work, but I would not trust him with anything of real size.

I was told that clearing the main line would resolve the kitchen sink problem as well. Before leaving, the technician only briefly tested the kitchen sink and then informed me that the sink issue would actually require approximately **$6,000** in additional work. I was asked whether I wanted to schedule that work, but I declined at that time. After they left, the kitchen sink was still completely clogged. I called the following morning to report that the original problem had not been resolved. Kyle Grissom told me that they do not warranty their drain cleaning work and stated that the only way to fix the kitchen sink was to proceed with the approximately $6,000 repair they had recommended. I found that response extremely disappointing. A customer should reasonably expect that if a company is hired to clear a clogged kitchen sink, the sink will actually be functioning when the job is complete. Instead, I paid for a service that did not resolve the original issue and was immediately directed toward a much more expensive repair. Later that week, I hired Hiller Plumbing. They successfully cleared the kitchen sink clog for less than **$500**, without performing the extensive repair Mr. Rooter insisted was necessary. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Mr. Rooter Plumbing. If you live in the greater Nashville area, I would recommend looking at other established plumbing companies that stand behind their work.
