Called Lee Company last Friday because the master bedroom electricity shut off. They sent someone to come look. He was in and out in less than 10 minutes turns out it was just a tripped fuse which I missed my mistake. But they ended up charging us $139 something so little! I asked him to please charge us less that was just too much and he said nope can't do that. Of course we called back, asking to speak to management. They didn't get back to us. 3 more calls later over half a week I finally got a manager to call me back. Said the guy only charged us $60 to flip the switch, the other $79 was a "dispatch fee". Yes I looked at the box and missed the tripped switch I thought I got them all but come on we payed $139 for 10 minutes of work. They refused to refund us anything from their overpriced fees. Best he could was waive some fees on our next call. Spoiler alert there isn't going to be a next call with the way we were treated. Hey Lee Company, don't treat people like this. Just because times are tough doesn't mean you should rob us blind. I feel very much taken advantage of. read more

Great Service from Lee Company I had a great experience with Lee Company when they came out to service my refrigerator. Joseph P., the appliance professional who handled the visit, quickly diagnosed the issue as a clogged freezer drain line and was able to resolve the problem efficiently. Joseph was clean, courteous, friendly, and highly professional throughout the entire process. I really appreciated how quickly he identified the problem and fixed it, which stopped the leak that had been making its way onto the kitchen floor. I also want to mention that even the person who scheduled the appointment over the phone was very pleasant and easy to work with, which made the entire experience smooth from start to finish. Regarding plumbing, make sure you insist on receiving and reviewing their invoice (even if they don't want to provide one) before you pay. They charged me for a part they told me to purchase, which doubled the invoice. When I saw the invoice, they quickly removed that charge. read more

Called about a problem on a 2 year old Train furnace. A service call was arranged for that day. A tech called and arrived at my home in an hour. The tech (Edgar Ramirez), worked almost 3 hours on the problem and had to order parts. The service was prompt, and Mr. Ramirez was very polite and knowledgeable! Service Requested: Lee Company put our unit in in 2022. The compressor stopped working at 9:00p.m(6/24/24) last night. A young man showed up within an hour of my telepone call & determined the compressor problem. That is the end of it. All anyone from Lee Co. will tell me is, "When the part comes in we will send someone out to fix unit". You can talk to no one but a switchboard operator. I have checked make & model # & two suppliers in Nashville have the compressor in stock. It is 86 degrees on the way to 98degrees & I still get the run around. It isn't smart to do business w large corp. companies any more. Once they get your money they don't Remember who you are. read more

This company has been 1st rate for me. I signed up for the home maintenance contact after having them respond for a 3 year old A/C that went out. They responded in a day and had it fixed that same day. I made the huge mistake of forgetting I had this contract when my water heater blew it's guts out. I paid another independent person $500 to swap out my water heater, only to discover it was leaking!! Who found this? The Lee Company employee who was doing my electrical inspection! I had Lee send a plumbing person to do my plumbing inspecton who corrected the leaking issue & installed a termal pressure overflow that should have been then to begin with. He also mentioned having a dehumidifier installed after hearing I have air purifiers in each of my main rooms/bedroom due to my hubby and I having breathing issues. So I had another Lee Employee come out to take a look. Upon his inspection & report, we then had Lee install the dehumidifier with the system that promotes cleaner air coming into the home. I feel very fortunate to have found Lee Company. Each of their employees are respectful and extremely knowledgeable. They convey confidence with the work they do and seem to take pride in their work, as they are always happy to show me & explain (in detail) the work they have done. From the wonderfully kind folks who answer the phone, to the bidders on the jobs, to the actual crews who do the work, I have yet to have any negative communicatinos or vibes from this company. They respond quickly to any type of contact, be it on the phone or on line. They have also contacted me on the day they are coming out to your home, to alert you to their arrival. I be used Lee company to clean my dryer vents about 18 months ago. I paid for their service and felt I would be safe from any type of fire .This last December, I had a different company clean my vents. The guy had me come outside to look at what he found. The vent was almost totally obstructed from the debris. I told him, I had this cleaned less than 2 years ago. He said," I don't know about that because, to me it looks like you have never had them cleaned." Oh boy! So now, I do feel confident that I won't have a fire in my vent. read more

You can't base a company due to one employee but after spending $26,050.00 with a company for 2 new units for a residential home one would expect to be treated as a valued customer . First of all we did receive 3 bids from reputable companies and out of those the salesman/ project manager that we liked the least was the one with the Lee company . We went ahead and went with the Lee Company simply because of the companies reputation . The units are fine the Installers were great . The issue was the salesman / project manager . As my spouse and I were outside looking at the upstairs unit the senior installer had called the Salesman / project manager and had him on speaker phone . The installer ask where the second crew was because they had scheduled two crews for installation due to having 2 units . The project manager told the installer to go ahead and set the second unit up because the other crew was behind . The installer told him they could not set it up because the pad had not been delivered , the project manager got irate and said I DONT CARE what you have to do JUST make it work . Once again the installer explained that it would not work ! The project manager repeatedly keep telling him to just make it work . I dont care who you are that's not what a homeowner wants to hear after spending twenty six thousand dollars with a company . So the saleman / project manager didn't care after the sale he just wanted it done even if it were wrong . So if your in the Sumner County / Hendersonville Tn do yourself a favor and get a different saleman not Anthony Grayson , or do business with another company . I did reach out to the company and they issued an apology but somehow we still feel like we were just another number and the job was done . My heat went out and I was worried since some lows of 17 were forecast for the near future. I have a tight budget and had been slow in calling anyone - dreading the cost. I am fortunate that I have 2 separate units - upstairs and downstairs. It was the upstairs unit and we had been making it okay in our upstairs bedrooms. Due to a few recommendations, I called Lee Company. The technician quickly told me that both my units were "dead" - that my downstairs must be warm due to "good insulation". He stated that it would take a long time to get the part for the upstairs unit - if it would even be possible to get it. He brought the "installer" back the next day to give me a quote. Both the technician and the installer confirmed that both units were "dead" - even though they were standing in a warm room with freezing temps outside. I was told that they had the units in stock (no choice of units was given) and that the price would go up by the first of the month, but they could get them installed before the low temperatures - if I gave them the go ahead. At this point I had not been offered a written quote or any information about the recommended units. I asked for the quote to be emailed. A few minutes after they left I received a quote for almost $16,000 - with a cancellation clause that stated that immediately upon signing I would be responsible for 15% for a cancellation and restocking fee. The "dead" downstairs unit has continued to keep the area warm. Another technician (obviously not with Lee Co) quickly realized that the upstairs unit needed a part that cost less than $60, He was able to get the part immediately and It took less than 20 minutes for him to install it.
