I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Steve, last year at an open house for the gym next door. He was so nice & personable that next time I had to go to the cleaners I would use him. I try not to buy clothes that need cleaning but I borrowed an outfit from my friend, and wanted to return it all nice an professionally cleaned. He was so happy to help me when I went in this morning, and even offered a discount because I was a member of the gym next door. Which was so incredibly nice. Recently, I had to attend a funeral in which I needed my suit taken out and Steve without question offered to have it done that night returned the next day. I went here to get my suit Jacket fitted that I got as a gift and it was to small. I go there to get it sized and fixed, seem like everything was good until pick up. They tell me originally it was going to be anywhere between 30-40 dollars, ended up being 80 bucks!! I was like...what? Why didn't you just call me? The young lady says "oh, we never seen it that high" ummm yea again why didn't you call? She said she can give me a 10% discount, I said whatever. Not even a day later, the thread ripped. I go back again earlier in the week and she said she won't charge me and they'll send it to there better tailor. Who says that? Ok...so I go back today to pick it up, and come to find out due to them screwing up there charging me 15 bucks!!! I said "Why should I pay for your mess up" She goes "oh, we have to pay the tailor" some BS story she gave me. I am so annoyed...this Jacket is so nice and they totally screwed it up...they lack customer service. I spend 100 bucks total and I could've just got a new Jacket. Outstanding customer service, excellent seamstress, exceptional service all around! Steve, the owner, is so friendly and helpful. His customer service is the best I've encountered in a long time. I needed alterations for a bridesmaids gown and was panicking because I was running out of time and also was afraid of it costing a fortune in comparison to what I've paid for other dresses needing less alterations. Nothing short of miracle workers! I'm a selective shopper and invest in clothes that I can keep for a long time. My adult daughter borrowed a couple of expensive, light colored sweaters last season and returned them to me months later stained from smoking, food, and who-knows-what-else. Went here based on Yelp recommendations for alterations. When I arrived the gentleman informed me that I needed to return during the week at a specific time which does not fit my work schedule. The gentleman then referred me to another local cleaners (an assumed competitor of his) where they did alterations. I went there and had everything taken care of in time. As I have said before Oxford Valley Cleaners is an super place to drop off your dry cleaning. Even if you live somewhere out of the area but drive by or work near by, it is worth it to stop there and have your dry cleaning done the right way. Steve the owner always has a kind word. read more

I took my wedding dress to be altered. I brought it in to see if the seamstress would be able to do what I wanted and she insisted yes. I needed it by Thursday, they told me I would have my first fitting on that wednesday. On wednesday I went in and it looked like no work was done at all after having it one week. I started to panic but they insisted it would be done the next day. I came to get it and the seamstress was not there. I tried on the finished product and I could not believe how awful and sloppy the dress was. She put HUGE cups in the chest part, so big I couldn't zip the dress anymore. The bottom looked like a 3 year old cut it up and sewed it back together, uneven and sloppy, I could see all the stitching and the knots. I brushed my hand down the sides of the dress and some of the stitching just fell apart. I don't even think she knew how to tie a knot correctly. When I took it off and brought it out, the owner gave me a 10$ discount, I'm sure because he could see the disappointment on my face. I brought it home and had to take out the stitching and do it myself , and I had to cup open the inside of the dress to take out the cups so I could zip it up again. I will NEVER come back and I will make sure to never refer anyone I know here. read more

The owner of this store is absolutely amazing! My family and I were traveling down to PA to visit sesame place and my daughter threw up all over her new car seat we bought that morning. I ended up searching for cleaners and this store came up. I called he told me to come on in. He took care of everything as we ate lunch right across the street and had it ready by the time we were done. It looked like new again. He was wonderful and if we lived in this area I would be a devoted customer! read more

Our hotel recommended this place when we asked about doing laundry. Quick, courtesy and an overall great experience. Everything was ready by the time we showed up and all of our clothes were extremely clean, handled with care and even folded! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the neighborhood. read more
