Joe cleaned my gigantic couch on 4/26/19. Nicest guy ever. He did some really deep cleaning and got out the cat barf stain that I thought was going to be there forever due to enzymes/whatever else gross stuff have in their guts, lol. He also got out some weird kind of sap/resin black sticky dots that we never could figure out where they came from. I've had my couch cleaned two previous times and they were not able to get out those sticky black stains. Joe is a miracle worker! I swear my couch is now a slightly different color (was kind of a tan, is now a lighter mushroom color--its original color)! So embarrassing that it had gotten that dirty! But it looks BRAND NEW now. I had him put the sealer/protection/whatever on it, so hopefully that will guard against the junk my two cats, my daughter's dog, and my baby granddaughter "contribute" to my couch's exterior, lol. I am new to the Marina area and I will continue to use Joe for as long as I am here. Service does not get any better. :) read more

This was the absolute worst job. Joe was kind, and we appreciated that. But the job was done so poorly. Our carpet had large wet areas for three days (we were told a couple hours to dry). There were areas left with a brown coloring (as in dirty water?) which I then had to clean with Folex. The carpet felt stiff instead of normal (as if a solution was still in the fibers?). Our area rugs both were left with brown stains on the white fringes. Joe stopped me as I was vacuuming up before the cleaning. He said his machines would take care of the dog hair. Well, afterward I found collections of dog hair along the baseboards and on the area rugs. Obviously the machine didn't take care of the dog hair and my vacuuming beforehand would have continued to be of benefit. We had our carpet cleaned by ProDry once before and the job was great. Dried within an hour, no new discolored areas, no clumps of dog hair. No feeling of stiffness in the carpet afterward. Huge difference. We will never use OxiFresh again, and will advise others to avoid this. $200 and a mess. Sorry Joe, but it appears others have had the same bad results. Customers need to know this is not as advertised and not a professional job. read more

I found this company through Google and depended on the positive reviews on Google and my expectations were very much exceeded. I called on Thursday afternoon and scheduled the cleaning for Friday morning at 8 am. Joseph, the co-partner gave us a 30 minute call ahead to let us know he was on his way. He arrived right on time at 8 am. Brand new vehicle with very new equipment. No gigantic hoses that drag from the vehicle along the sidewalk and along walls and no loud generators. He didn't have to use more than 2 gallons of water. He was very knowledgeable about the product and he spent the time getting the carpets cleaned properly. They turned out better than when we moved in. We have pets and it smells like no pets live here. It is amazing. Joe was the most personable in-home service professional I have ever dealt with. He was so much more concerned about doing the job well than just getting in and getting out. We got a call late afternoon the day before they were supposed to come telling us they would not be able to clean our carpets. We asked about other times trying to be as flexible as possible. I don't think I can say enough great things about this company or the nice man that came to clean our carpets, but I'm certainly going to try! Firstly, when I called for a quote and to schedule the appointment, the lady that answered the phone was very polite and answered all my questions thoroughly, which is always nice! Joseph is the name of the man who cleaned our carpets. He was scheduled to come at 8am. He called at 7:30 to confirm and arrived exactly at 8. I can't stress enough how important that is to me! I think being late is incredibly inconsiderate and I REALLY appreciated his punctuality. In addition to having our carpets cleaned, we also wanted some mildew removed from our shower. He started with the shower so that just in case he ended up tracking anything out onto the carpets, they weren't already clean. He tried remove it at first with his green cleaners, but unfortunately the mildew was resistant. He ran home quickly to get a bleach based cleaner, but before doing so he made sure to get my permission to use a non green cleaner, which I was totally fine with for that particular job. Joseph SCRUBBED and I mean SCRUBBED that shower for a LONG time and while the mildew still didn't completely come out, it definitely looked much better and I felt mostly satisfied with the result. However, Joseph wasn't satisfied and therefore didn't charge me. I was astounded really, because of the amount of time and effort he put forth in cleaning the shower. GREAT customer service. Being young and living in Monterey doesn't leave much in the wallet, so I very much appreciated the break. He was very careful about making sure he didn't track any bleach out of the bathroom and cleaned up after himself very well. The carpet cleaning process was very quick and used only 2 gallons of water which is awesome!! The carpets look probably better than they did before we moved in and they feel soooo nice!! We had him deodorize one smelly room that housed our old roommate who seemed to be allergic to cleaning and therefore left behind a very smelly situation. You'd never know that now! Whatever scent is in their deodorizer smells fabulous and isn't overwhelming. Joseph told me that the next few times I vacuum it will pull the scent back out of the carpet leaving it smelling wonderful time and time again! Overall, I was highly impressed with the products, but even more so with the quality and speed of Joseph's work. Many kudos and thanks to him and the company. I contacted OxiFresh based on very positive Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. Our technician Gerald was very prompt, courteous and helpful (I wasn't told prior to the appointment that we should move furniture and other items ourselves, so he helped me with that), and he paid careful attention to the trouble spots on our carpet and in general seemed eager to do the job well. The carpet looks great, and he indicated that if any stains return we can call and they'll come back to take care of them at no charge. One comment I have for the company is that when I made my appointment, they didn't mention about the need to move items out of the room ourselves, and they didn't tell me to vacuum prior to the cleaning (I had assumed the technician's first step would be to vacuum). It would be helpful to clearly tell customers what they need to do to prepare. Perhaps this could be more obvious in the confirmation email, and the person who sets up the appointment could mention to look for that info in the email. I didn't notice it in the confirmation email I received until I went back and looked at it right before submitting my review! read more

So I called to make an appointment and spoke with Lisa who was nice and super fun to talk to. She fit me in within just a few days which was great! Joseph called 1/2 hr. before our appointment to confirm & showed up on the dot. We walked through the house to look at the carpets first and then he got started. He explained the process as he went along & we had a fun time conversing about other things as well. Before he left he saw a tiny red spot on the carpet (invisible to me) that he just couldn't leave so he got out the spot remover and went at it until it was gone. The carpets looked and smelled new. We are so happy with this company. They quickly gave us a fair quote over the phone, but will also give a quote over the internet too-it's based on rooms cleaned. John showed up on time, and called right before to let me know he was on his way. He did a BEAUTIFUL job, it's been over 2 years, and with 5 pets our carpets were awful. The price was the same as quoted. No last minute charges or tack-ons! The products worked wonderfully and the carpet dried so fast. The premise that you can clean carpets without using water is dubious, at best. After Joe from Oxi Clean was finished, the carpet looked dirtier than when he started. I immediately went out, rented a Rug Doctor and proceeded to ACTUALLY clean the carpet ! All the stains Joe said were "too deep" or "sun stains" came right out !! Joe made an appointment to come back which he never kept. He basically did the least amount of work he could then offered more "spray" as opposed to actually cleaning the carpet when he saw my displeasure. Oxi Clean basically sprays "spot shot" all over your carpet a tries to hide dark spots without actually removing the dirt. Rent a Rug Doctor after the con artist is finished and you will be as disgusted as I was. Bucket after bucket of filthy water AFTER Joe was finished "CLEANING" was what I got.
