Entered here today on my quest to try new things. I was great by the cashier/server. The first words spoke were "for here or to go" not friendly one bit. - food was to go. Waited in the dining room and observed all the random signs. Food was ok tasting. Congealed sauce? See photo. Mystery chipped beef? Rice was way over cooked and had a pudding consistency. Service was well here and we were promptly seated. The ambiance is cute with the cherry blossom tree is a nice touch. We ordered salmon and yellowtail nigiri, a couple rolls, and chicken katsu, the chicken portion was large, it was silly they give 3-4 pieces of brocolli but it was cold. The food was amazing. I had a hunger for "something" and stumbled accidentally on this place. It's their Grand Opening and I was the only one here. Let's change that because I'll be coming back and back and back. A HUGE bowl of pork, Raman, Bamboo, egg, crab cake, shallots and green onions in an incredible tasteful broth. The Green tea has like a sweetish flavor different than the "normal every day" green tea. I can't wait to come back and try the fish bowl or the Shrimp Tempura. So many choices. read more

My food was so delicious. I ordered the tonkotsu black garlic ramen with a side of white rice and steamed/fried dumplings appetizer. The receptionist cashier was very friendly and welcoming. She allowed me to sample the milk tea which was so good. Everything was very tasty. I would most certainly eat here again. I can't wait bc I absolutely love rice and ramen! Walked in, Betty clean place, cozy, register person 4 star, cook 5star, my order is cooked in a proper way not burn not hard, seaweed salad yum, I also ordered a sesame balls guess what, they are cooked in perfection not hard but crunchy melts when you take a bite, its definitely a go to place with friends, family and enjoy the clean and good food they offer. Perhaps they were having a bad day but I walked in there didn't get a smile, didn't get a hello how are you , so I would just say unfriendly atmosphere from the 2 people there that night. I went ahead and gave my order which came to 18.93. I asked about Bobo they said they were out and then I asked about the other teas. . The woman behind the counter had an accent. She says she asked me if I wanted that tea but I said no no I don't want it, apparently there was a miscommunication there, I felt the teas were too expensive, because I really had wanted the bubble tea and they were out.When I went to pick up my order, the tea was there. she agreed to refund it from $25 back to the 1893 that I purchased. So today I still saw it on my card I called. to clarify. I couldn't believe how rude she was. Of course she called me rude and said I "what else do you want?" miscommunications happen, but when a customer calls a business, they should be treated politely and nicely and kindly. To clarify the problem whatever it is and she could've done that. But instead she was defensive and attacked me. She said she was the one that was there that night and she said I said yes, so it was my misunderstanding because I did not want the tea I did not drink it. I did not take it off the counter I believe she Was drinking it. In this town of Hemet, I eat out frequently and everybody is polite ,nice, kind with a big smile on their face like they appreciate your business. But these people never said hello they never say goodbye. They spoke among themselves in another language. They never said please come again thank you for your business. The restaurant was empty and the food in my opinion wasn't that great. Tthe chicken bowl had a perfume like taste to it. If you can't treat customers with respect and try to solve their problem and not completely go on the defensive, you're not going to develop a good customer base. she could've easily been kind and and simply verified that she had taken that $25 amount off and only charge $18 but instead she immediately attacked, called me rude, and hung up on me. I didn't mind the price although pricier than other places ($48.87- for 2 entrees and one appetizer) The woman only made grunting sounds, never looked up at me and rolled her eyes when I told her I was dinning in. We were the only patrons in there; the food runner also didn't acknowledge we were at the table just sat the food on the opposite side of the table. I needed a fork so I got up and went to ask for it, the woman turns around and says "I gave you a fork!" I reminded her I purchase 2 meals and apologized for inconveniencing her; she looked as if I had insulted her and her whole family lineage. Begrudgingly, she gave me a fork and 2 cafeteria napkins. When we were ready to go I asked if I could PURCHASE 2 to go containers, this time, she was mad because she said "we don't charge for to go containers!" I couldn't hold my tongue and said "well since getting a fork was such an issue, I wanted to make sure you didn't loose any money by giving me containers" she immediately turn around to speak with the kitchen person in their language, she placed the containers on the counter and said "we don't charge for to-go containers, those are free!" Came in to try for the first time. We are admittedly food snobs when it comes to Ramen and Sushi. Our favorite is found in LA at little Tokyo, but that's quite the drive. We came at 7:15 pm on Saturday night and place was empty. We got nervous but decided to stay anyway. I am glad we did, the Tonkatsu ramen was enjoyable and top 10 % and better than any we have experienced locally. Please give it a try as this is a business we want to stay for a long time. I sat down to wait for my food and I felt they were talking about me bc they were staring at me and my children while speaking in their native tongue. My child saw chopsticks and grabbed some of them (I told him to stop grabbing things) not even one minute later the waiter comes up and aggressively takes all the chopsticks off the table. I'm not sure if he just drop the chopsticks in the sink or he threw them but from where we were sitting it sounded very loudly like they were being thrown.As soon as my food was ready I tried to say thank you but the employ quickly dismissed me as if me coming in and ordering food was an inconvenience for them. Omg, dude, everyone please don't judge this place based off of their pricing, ik it looks like a rip off bc a bowl of ramen be like 15 dollars but do yourself a service and trust that the quality is there! I really am having a hard time believing this place is in Hemet. They only make the pork tonkatsu ramen and a veggie ramen for a reason, they are focusing on perfection and they do it so well. I haven't tried anything else besides the tako yaki which were good, not over the top good but not bad by any means, but I'll definitely be back to try the other tonkatsu variations! Came here to celebrate a good thing, absolutely delighted to find this fantastic little store. Got the tonkatsu shio ramen and some dumplings, while my mom got the veggie bowl. REALLY good, and the service was increidbly quick- plus the workers were so so nice. Of course I absolutely loved the decor, especially the lucky cat and buddha at the front. I been ordering from here since they opened. It has consistently improved every time. The food has always been great. They upgraded their to go containers too, and they even are able to make the ramen spicy. I lived in japan for years and this place has some of the best Karaage i've had since coming to America.
