Was craving some fish tacos and my man found this place with a good rating on google. Decided to give it a try. First off the horchata is sooooo good!! I got the pepino limon, very tasty but the horchata took the win. I got the fish taco plate which came with two tacos and a side of rice and beans. We also got the asada burrito which was massive and we tried a mulita de pastor. All sooo good. Plus the sauces they give is like the cherry on top. We left no crumbs. Finally got to stop in and try this place after months of passing by and telling myself to try it. I got the surf and turf burrito and the Diablo shrimp taco.. both were very tasty and would definitely get them again. The green salsa is really good as well. There was a lil more rice than I would prefer in the burrito but still very good. They were a lil slow gettin to the counter to take my order but I mean that can be for many reasons. If you want some great quality Mexican food that has great birria and flavorful al pastor, Tipsy is a great place to go. We stopped by on a weekday afternoon and were able to get our orders taken very quickly. We sat around while waiting and noticed that there were nice, clean tables all around. We didn't have to wait for very long since our order came out within a few minutes and it was all piping hot. The tipsy fries are some of my favorite, with so many flavors combining together in each bite. The Al pastor was also juicy with a lot of seasoning, making every bite rich and flavorful. The only thing was we thought the price altogether was a bit more than we expected, but we were paying for higher quality all around. Let me tell you that this is my new go to spot for carne asada fries. They are a solid number 2 in my lineup and number 1 is in cathedral city as you may know if you read my reviews. This place is amazing! Firstly the staff were super friendly and accommodating when I asked for some extra items on the side (grilled jalepenos and extra limes) the food was so good VERY flavorful. I did NOT expect the burrito to be that big AND if you look at the picture the ceviche they gave me to go was ALOT for just the 1 tostada I ordered that was dope! The ceviche was so good and the Burrito had rice and beans which I loved. I will 100% be back to try more items on the menu ! read more

Hands down one of my favorite taco spots! Everything is made to order including the chips. Homemade salsa and bbq sauce. Yes we even tried the chicken wings and they did not disappoint. This is our second visit and it's the same as the first! Great service and awesome food. I know some have said it's pricey but I say it's no different than any other place I go to get food in the area. Prices have gone up on EVERYTHING so you might as well get use to it. My friend and I ate here last October 2025, had the carne asada fries with al pastor, along with some birria tacos. The food tasted good and average, nothing out of this world. But both my friend and I woke up sick with an upset stomach, along with diarrhea... So I would be cautious eating here y'all. read more

Stopped by Tipsy Tacos again and it never disappoints. I got three tacos -- al pastor, pollo, and carne asada -- and every single one was packed with flavor. The al pastor had the perfect sweet-savory balance, the pollo was juicy and well seasoned, and the carne asada was rich and satisfying. I also tried the Sonora taco, and wow -- so good. The flour tortilla with cheese melted on the inside takes it to another level. It's easily one of my favorites now. I paired everything with a refreshing cucumber with lime agua fresca that wasn't overly sweet and went perfectly with the food. it's my favorite I literally get it every time. The service is always great, super friendly and welcoming, which is a big reason I come here all the time. This review is just for their birria. I bought a birria burrito and taquitos. Both were filled with veins and blood vessels that snapped back when bit down. I understand that these types of things are normal to find in birria, but it grossed me the hell out. Took another bite of the burrito and bit into a huge Bayleaf.. Yuck. they should use seasoning bags that you can remove so this doesn't happen. Food is not only about taste. It's also about color and aroma and textures, etc. I'm sure we all know it's supposed to be an experience. With that said, I didn't have a good experience with the birria. I will most likely never order it again. It's just too gross. I'll have to stick to regular tacos. read more

Crazy how I use to see this place leaving my neck of the woods only to discover one right in my neck of the woods! First off the place was clean, calm and quiet which works for me! I stopped by this place for lunch/dinner recently with a few friends. We were given the recommendation from a cashier who over heard us planning to go get food. I am so glad we went because the food here is excellent. We all had tacos, but they have many different dishes to choose from on their menu. The salsas they had were amazing as well. The meat was cooked to perfection everything was exceptional & so flavorful. The service was outstanding as well. You can tell the 2 brothers who own the place really care about their food and they want everyone to be more than satisfied. It was very clean and had good atmosphere as well. We are planning an upcoming event so we found out that they cater at a very reasonable price. I am excited to continue to frequent this place in the future. I highly recommend it! read more

Been to both locations - food is tasty, service is spotty. No one's fault except the owners who seem to think 2 people are plenty. The burritos are huge. The decor is fun and modern. The young lady that helped us was very friendly and super helpful. I took my daughter and granddaughter that are both vegetarians and all 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal! I had the delicious quesabirria tacos that were full of meat and very flavorful...my daughter had a torta, which she loved and could only finish half of . Last but not least my granddaughter had a huge mulita. What really impressed me is since she didn't get meat on there the young lady offered to put beans and rice, which I thought was awesome because most people just go ahead and charge you regular price and that's that. We also ordered tipsy fries (asada on the side for me) to share and they were delicious. Nice n crispy, not all soggy. So my wife ordered me a California burrito to try them out for first time it was great nice fat burrito it was perfect. I ordered from them and it was $16.99 on DoorDash. I get a half ass filled California burrito the shit is the same size as my palm of my hand and my wife had a DRY ass California burrito barely any fries in it. Ordered extra cilantro never got ordered extra onions never got ordered extra sour cream on my burrito never got that and to top it off I ordered 4 street tacos dry no ingredients. I could see why it's pretty lonely the food is madddddd expensive! I asked for cheese on the birria ramen but they put extra noodles since they didn't have an add cheese option. The birria ramen is pretty salty and the birria taco was kinda dry but the fries were okay. my boyfriend said they needed salt and that the birria was clumpy and that there was too much fat in the meat. the place itself was pretty clean. Definitely NOT worth $50 though read more

When my husband asked if they had al pastor meat and if he can have it in a mulita, she ignored his question, pointed to the sign, and said, "all meats are up there." I feel she could have at least answered him It came across as rude and dismissive. That interaction really took away from our experience--my family and I didn't feel welcome. This was our second visit, and it will be our last.

Thankfully, they have deals everyday like torta discounts on Sundays. Service was solid, the girl at the register was fun. The ambiance was pretty mellow. Sometimes they had soccer games playing or music, other moments they had moments of quiet. I loved the big faux tree in the middle of the restaurant, it's like a "themed cafe"!
