Chilaquiles omelette
Lizarely Q.

We stopped by on a Sunday morning for brunch. It was so packed. We sat at the bar, kind of small leg room but nonetheless we enjoyed our food. I ordered a cafe de olla, I had to remind them about it, which came after my food was served but it was the star of the show. It was sooooo good. Worth the wait. My bf got a michi, hmm just tasted like tomato & beer. The food was amazing. The chilaquiles omelette was so good, the potatoes are seasoned well & eve the beans were good. My bf got the pambazo, it did t even stand a chance he ate it up. Will def come back to try more food options, probably not on a weekend though.

Service has always been great and we love literally ALL of the food we've had here! My favorite hands down is the marisco flight because of its variety, you get to choose the spice level from 1-5!

Wow the fish taco plate came with 3 tacos, beans, rice and drink for $18. The biggest fish taco I've seen and very tasty. Nicely battered. So good that I had dream about it! The salsa bar had 5 salsa choices from mild to spicy. They even have a bean bar of 2 choices. They have a nice bar with awesome drinks. We ordered the Cantarito which is similar to a Paloma. It came in this clay vase looking cup that you're able to keep. We tasted bitterness in the Cantarito as if they used a bad lime and we asked for a redo. It didn't taste like any of the previous times my friend had it. The server was nice to let us get something else. We got a pina colada and mango margarita. If we lived closer, I would frequent Tacos and Tequila more often and try the other dishes. It's usually crowded on a Friday night but it wasn't on this day. It also has an event room to rent out.

Dude I really hate to write this review because I really loved this place. I always told family and friends because it is such a hidden gem in the area. The prices are.. up there, but the quality, the ambiance, the SODA, it's worth it. well was,, !!!!TMI WARNING!!!! but this has been the first time in my life beyond infancy that I pooed myself. i'm humilitied to say it, but its true and it scared me it's been 3 days since I last went and i've still been reaping what i sowed. my stomach is hurting as i write this, i can't take it anymore!!! i got the quesabirria tacos, my usual diet is very simple and consistent, so i know for absolute fact that it was something I had from here that day. Every other time going, I would have rated it a 10/10 but this has seriously scarred me LOL.

Came in here for maybe the third time. We really don't come here often because we do not live in the city. Their menu is a bit confusing to be honest. We ended up ordering shrimp tacos, Menudo, a Michelada and a mango margarita which cost us about $70. The chips are extra. The place was not as clean as we would hope for and our napkin dispenser was empty. I almost was finished with my meal by the time our drinks came and it was on a Sunday night not very busy. I think the local taco shop that we usually go to is much better for the price. We are able to get a few drinks a couple burritos and Menudo for about the same price probably wouldn't come back here.

Found this place while we were in hemet after golfing. This place is huge and they have a lots to offer. Service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious but it was super small.. not really shareable and it was kind of pricey. Would come back here again next time we are in town.

The brunch spot, chilaquiles, crab cake eggs Benedict con cafe de Hoya, first time at this spot. Great service from Teresita and Betsie

The food is always great here. The service is always with a smile and the ambiance is Hispanic heritage theme. Really a great place to take the family for some really good Hispanic food. Multiple television ls with sports and on certain days they have a live band.

Food prices are above the norm, but the quantity and quality you get is above average in my opinion. We love their salsa bar. Their decor is colorful and the vibe is to have good time while you're there. I can recommend

Three Chicken tacos, rice and refried beans.

Well I've found another gem of a place! Parking was abundant, service was fast and the variety was sufficient. This place has more than three types of meats and some seafoods for your taco needs. They just started serving fajitas, but I had already placed my order. Next time for sure. They offer a large variety of beverages too. A the salsa bar.. please be careful you test it before your cover your food, some are too spicy hot for me. The decor has its perks, the dark tinted windows keep you looking around at interior designs. This place is kid friendly too and it appears they have a larger range I'm for a party.

The way is advertised but you don't get the same thing
Magaly G.

What's adversed and what you pay for is NOT what you get. I was disappointed in the quality and quantity.

It's got great picture quality and is bright, it's enjoyable for a watch party. Sayulita also has multiple smaller screens across the room. Some at the bar, others by the booth, most seats have a good view of the action. During my visit, I tried the Tacos Gobernador with a side of beans. I paired my meal with a 16oz of Voodoo Ranger. It was refreshing and satisfying for a chilly night in Spring. Overall, the atmosphere was clean and pleasant. All the other guests drank responsibly and families were present. Service was mostly good, one of the younger guys running the cash register was amazing! He was very professional and friendly. Our server girly was forgetful though, she brought my meal out first within 10 mins (which was great) but forgot my beans for over 45 mins. I had to ask another lady at the counter for my beans and she brought them out cold. Mm, can't we reheat these? Thankfully, they tasted good, but this was not an ideal experience.

She always is however, I will say that the surf and turf burrito was a little bit on the salty side. It wasn't bad. It was good, but it was very, very salty, so that kind of killed the flavor in a way the fire roasted wings they were boneless they had really good flavor however it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be but all in all they were good and it was wing Wednesday so they were eight dollars can't beat that however, the burrito I was a little more disappointed in only because of the fact that it was salty. Everything else was fine with it. It had good flavor again just too salty for me. This place is awesome though they have food. It's attached to the grocery store. I love that the vibes are always awesome inside of that place and everyone's super nice so I only took off a star because of the burrito being salty. I live so close to this place so this is like a little home bar. I'll definitely be back.

Hey Brian, I wanted…read moreto reach out about something that happened tonight that I feel you should know about. I also want to be clear that all of this transpired after you had already left for the evening. For context, I'm a regular at the bar and have been coming in for quite a while. I've never had a major issue with Brent or Steven, even though they both have personalities that can come across as sarcastic or abrasive. I've generally let it go because my reason for coming to the bar is simple: I come in to have a few beers, relax, and enjoy myself. Tonight, while I was still drinking one of my beers and had some left in the glass, Brent came by and took it away as if I was finished. I jokingly said something along the lines of, "I guess you're not going to let me finish the last bit." I wasn't upset and wasn't trying to start an argument. It was an obvious mistake that could have been solved with a simple apology. Instead, he responded with a snarky comment rather than acknowledging the mistake. Later, he brought another beer to my table. I made eye contact with him and before I could even say anything, he asked, "Do you want to say something to me?" I replied, "No, I just wanted to say thank you." His response was, "Your eyes are telling me differently." Again, I found that unnecessarily confrontational and disrespectful. At that point, I decided to leave a $0 tip. I normally tip very well, often around 30% or more, and this was the first time I've intentionally left no tip because I wanted to send a message that I was unhappy with the way I was being treated. After that, Steven came over and confronted me about leaving no tip. He asked if I was really zeroing it out and questioned me about whether something had happened between me and Brent. I told him that whatever issue I had was not his concern, and he responded, "Fair enough." I assumed that would be the end of it. Instead, Brent came outside and confronted me. He told me Steven had said I had a problem with him. I explained that I didn't have a personal problem with him; my issue was his attitude and the way he was treating me as a customer. Rather than listening, he became increasingly hostile. I reminded him that I'm a customer and that I'm only there to buy beer from the business. I'm not there to deal with sarcasm, attitude, or an employee's emotions. As a paying customer, the minimum I expect is basic respect. I shouldn't have to walk on eggshells or accept being spoken to disrespectfully while simply trying to enjoy a beer. That confrontation ended poorly and he went back inside. A short time later, he came back out and confronted me again, this time in front of other customers. The situation became even more uncomfortable because it was happening publicly. During that exchange, he ultimately told me that I was not welcome back. Again, I reminded him that I am a paying customer whose only purpose in being there is to support the business and enjoy a beer. I should not be getting into arguments with employees, being confronted in front of other patrons, or being told I'm not welcome because I expressed concerns about how I was being treated. The bigger issue is that, in my opinion, this isn't just about tonight. This has been months in the making. I've noticed a pattern with both Brent and Steven where they seem to have become comfortable treating customers with attitude and sarcasm in ways that shouldn't be acceptable in a customer-facing role. I've overlooked it many times because I enjoy the bar and didn't think it was worth making an issue out of. On the other hand, employees like Kim, Josh, and David have always treated me and other customers with professionalism and respect. They know how to joke around while still making customers feel welcome. I've never had an issue with them. From my perspective, the problem is specifically Brent and, to a lesser extent, Steven. Brent especially has developed a demeanor that I find unwelcoming, confrontational, and disrespectful toward customers. I don't think I'm the only person who feels this way. Tonight was simply the point where it crossed a line. I'm not sending this because I want anyone fired or punished. I simply think you should know what happened, especially since it all occurred after you had left. I've spent a lot of time and money at your establishment over the years, and I would hope that customers--especially regulars--can expect basic courtesy and respect from the people serving them. I wanted to give you my side of the story directly. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

The folks/beertenders were very friendly and you can tell they're enthusiastic about craft beer and the craft beer community. I've only visited once, but I've been told that they regularly rotate out their taps and have cans of local and not so local breweries for sale out of the fridge. At the time of my visit, I noticed some cans from some of my favorite breweries in the LA and SD area. The place feels like a craft beer oasis in that it's a bit of a destination and I'm not sure what else is around. Although, to be fair, I don't live in the immediate area and don't really know the area that well in terms of craft beer offerings. Definitely a spot I would like to frequent. There seemed to be plenty parking when I went. Not sure if it get's really crowded when some more of the surrounding businesses are open, but I had plenty of spaces to chose from.

Being my first time I like to gauge the staff/table ratio ti get an idea on wait time for service. While waiting for my friend, I noticed a large table off to the side having drinks and playing a card game. I was impressed seeing that they were consistently getting rounded on by their server. Finding out this was a family run small business made this even more impressive as it was a full house. Additionally, it felt like the entire bar was excitedly watching the FIFA game, which was surprising because the difference in noise level from the outside of the building was significant. From the bar perspective, the bartenders were so kind (A), provided short/sweet conversation and excellent recommendations (A+), AND gave us time to look over the menu without being pushy (A++). I tried the lavender buzz and the oso espresso martini, my girlfriend had a lavender lemonade seltzer both being DELICIOUS. The chipotle sauce was flavorful but there was just not enough of it on the surf and turf burrito. Also it seemed like a flavor was missing from the food itself. My carne asada fries was missing something from them as well as the fries being undercooked. Would this be a place where I'll return? sure mom and pop places always need second chances.
