She's a wonderful listener & always very attentive to my concerns, & changes in pain levels. She gave me physical therapy exercises to do at home & had several treatment recommendations I used in addition to using medication. She closely monitors my pain levels not only the day of my appointment, but throughout the entire one month period between appointments. She never rushes through her time with me & provides a very personalized patient care experience. Shes always very open & honest, explaining why or why not she recommends or prescribes various treatments. In addition to medication & home exercise, she gives spinal injections that provide excellent pain relief & allow me to perform more activities without using more medication. As a retired RN of 32 years, I highly recommend Dr Stelling, not only because she is a highly specialized, intelligent physician, but also because of her sincere concern for her patients. So I told him and she could just call Blue Cross and got all that when she processes the claim. She told me I could call myself! So I did and it took me about 10 minutes in the lobby to get that done. My appointment was 8:40 AM and now it was 845 as I walked up to the window to get her mine chance information. She immediately said "now you're late for your appointment we may not be able to see you today". About lost my effing mind. She checked with the doctor in the back and came right back to tell me "provider cannot see you today because you're late. You're going to need to reschedule." I told her, " I will not be rescheduling. I will seek healthcare somewhere else. You provided me about the worst customer service I've ever received. You could have told me that the doctor runs a tight schedule and advised me we could resolve the payment issue after my appointment, to avoid being late." Then left. What a joke for "care". That is part of healthcare isn't it? She couldn't give a shit. If that is how they treat patients up front, I can only imagine the lackadaisical care they provide in the back office. Not to mention if there's an issue with the claims process. Needless to say, I will be finding QUALITY medical care elsewhere! Avoid Prime Care Family Medicine in Neosho like the plague!

This past weekend, a tooth broke, forcing the crown off, and causing pain. Called to see about getting in. Staff said they don't do emergencies, and wouldn't attempt to work him in for a month. He hung up on them, called another dentist, who will get him in on Wed. Smiles refused to take a half payment last year when he offered to pay something until the insurance reviewed a poorly written letter. Stated it messed up their billing. Ok, well, now you're getting payments due to your staffs inability to work with us
