Instead of the usual sterile and dreaded environment you have to go to get contacts and glasses, Uptown Eyes is the one doctor appointment you will look forward to. I especially love their eyewear selection- it is such a step up from anywhere else I know of in Northwest Arkansas. I also feel that Megan truly cares about my health, not simply just a glasses or contact prescription. She's incredibly knowledgable and she has given me great nutrition advice so that my eyes are truly getting everything they need, inside and out. I feel that this is most important, because where glasses and contacts are replaceable, our eyes are not! While I understand offices can run behind, there was very little communication during the delay. There was also confusion regarding insurance and a copay. They always do this. My insurance takes care of that between the two. Two front desk staff members insisted I owed a copay, while another employee later reviewed the account and stated that my balance showed $0 owed and questioned why payment was being requested at all. I appreciated the newer employee taking the time to properly look into the issue and explain things respectfully. Unfortunately, after this situation, I experienced behavior from two front desk staff members that I found unprofessional and upsetting. While leaving, there was snickering/laughing directed toward me, and when I returned to request a note for appointment, one employee was dismissive and very rude. I am not writing this to cause problems, but because the overall experience left me uncomfortable and embarrassed during what should have been a routine medical appointment for my child. I would appreciate this being reviewed so future visits can be handled more professionally and respectfully.

I was fitted with multi-focal lenses and for the first time in 50 years (since I was 8 years old) I do not need glasses or contacts.
