We feel it was one of the worst decisions we have made in our lives and would never purchase a modular home if we had the ability to go back in time. We are happy for those who have had a good experience, but we were disappointed by the lack of finished detail, the very basic mistakes made by both Commodore Homes and the Three Stone construction crew, and the constant push back from customer service on the issues we brought to their attention. They were happy to repair small things, or things they had to accept as an issue that their poor work caused, but if it took more than one trip, it was a constant battle to get things done. This is not the dream home we were hoping for as our final retirement home. After just over two years in our home, we are experiencing some significant settling of the home and still seeing issues that were never corrected and/or corrected, yet the problem appeared, again. If you purchase a home - keep meticulous records, email is best because you have a record of discussions, take LOTS of pictures, and ask them for a list of everything you are responsible for after the purchase of the home before you buy. And keep in mind that you are responsible for the foundation of your home and honestly, when it is all said and done, we don't think we would have spent much more for an on-site built home and know we would have had better quality materials by going with a contractor that is highly recommended and with you every step of the way. Note that they no longer have a Facebook page. In *our opinion* and our opinion, only, it is because they were getting so many bad reviews, they took it down. They can't do this with Google and other review sites, so do your homework. Please read the whole review, but if you don't have the time or inclination a summary is just below. We are also happy to provide pictures and documentation of our experience if we are able on the Google Review site. * Be careful if you want to change the floor plan because you may create real problems with the flow of your floor plan that cannot be changed; you do sign off on the project, but you would hope that the 'experts' at TSH and Commodore would catch problem areas and help correct them. But they don't. * Have local, respected crews build out your porches, gutters, etc. because you will know the quality you are hiring, and based on our experience, local contractors will work with you to make some changes in the design if they see there is an issue (the contractor on the garage we had built on to our TSH made changes as we went if he noticed an issue or thought we would like something a little different than the plan) * Be prepared to be told that the finished interior of the model homes look better than the product you get in the end (we said at one point that we just wanted our *new* home to look as nice on the ones on their lots, and were told that TSH crews go in daily to work on their homes so they always look good - we have this response in an email message) * TSH says more home, less money; part of that is the quality of items installed (we spent $6200 to change out our ductwork this year and you can see the whole explanation below); our insulated windows fog up and get condensation and when I looked up the window company, it says they will do this. We purchased insulated windows for our previous home, and they did not do this because they were better quality windows. Our shower spray nozzle has quit a third time (TSH has replaced it twice when they were working on our home) - our plumber says we just need to go with a different set up because the one installed continues to malfunction and you cannot find matching parts because it is not a name brand item * If you live quite a distance from TSH, you will be waiting long periods for warranty work * We have photos and email messages to document all that we have written here. * We cannot begin to tell you how many times we were asked to provide information over and over on the same requests (we have MANY email messages to document this) Details: Go to our Google Review to see the details

Apartment complex said there was nothing they could do and just call the police to report. Parking- Good luck ever finding a parking place, the spots, the street, and anywhere else is taken all the time. Construction- I found so many rusty nails on my balcony that I couldn't use it any more. Door knobs feel off, fan chains fell off, and the entire apartment felt like it would collaspe at any minute. Management- The worst people ever! They don't respond to your questions or concerns and once you move in they don't feel like you deserve the time of day. I would fax, email, call, and leave Facebook messages with no responses. All in all you can find much nicer houses to rent for far less money. If you're not an underage college student getting drunk by the pool they don't have any interest in working with you. Save your money and frustration and find another place to live. I couldn't even stick it out for a full year here and I never got a good nights sleep.

Since I was signing a lease in October (out of their leasing season which is April-September, I was limited to two lease options: a 9-month lease or an 18-month lease. I thought the 18-month lease made the most sense, but because I was unsure if I would stay for a full 18 months, I asked what the options were if I wanted to terminate the lease early. I was told the only things I would have to do would be: 1. give 30 days notice and 2. pay the buyout fee. Fast forward one year later, my husband and I had bought a house and reached out to the office to put in our 30 days notice. I was told by the front desk that wasn't an option, because they only allow 2 buyouts per month. She let me know they already had 2 buyouts for October, November, December and January, which meant the earliest I could buy out of my lease was February. Since my lease ended in April, it would have cost me more to buy out of the lease in Feb than if I just paid through the rest of the lease. They were not flexible on this at all, regardless of the fact that it was never mentioned to us or listed in the lease. When I asked where it was written in the lease I was told "It's not in there, but that's how we've always done things". This conversation coming from the same person who I spoke to initially when signing the lease and asked about the termination steps. If there is 1% of you that thinks they might need to terminate your lease early, find a different spot.

They don't follow up on anything unless you bug them about it 50 times. They use 3rd party companies for leases and rack up charges and fees like nobody's business. Rent is cheap but NOT worth the place to live in. Car got stolen third night I was living there (no cameras or street lamps to help.) Living in misery trying to get stuff fixed. Electric bill is at $250 to power a one bed one bath. If you have a dog, there's no grass for them to go to the bathroom. The grass that is there, is full of animal waste and trash. Landlords are nice and good people. But Wooten as a company is the worst business I've ever had to deal with. I wish I never moved in here, but I'm stuck until I can find another place. LEASE IS MONTH TO MONTH FOR A REASON. DO NOT LIVE HERE. As someone who has been trapped here for almost 8 months now- it's not worth it. Worse decision of my life.

When there was an issue with the air conditioner, it was promptly fixed. Phil is more like a neighbor/friend. The only reason I left is because I bought a house. Their rates are also super affordable, especially in this market. Contrary to what some have said, Aaron Properties does NOT discriminate. While I was there, they had people of all different ages, races, etc. I don't think I could have asked for a better experience at my first apartment.
