Have been to this place at different location. This trip, I should have said something but 2 of our orders were not correct. As In what we ordered did not get added and was charged for it. I forgot we were in the south, and that things around here run on southern time. We were hoping for an early start to our day, but most everything was still closed. We drove around looking for places to eat when we found Ozark Mountain Bagel. It's been a while since I've had a bagel, so I asked the people working there what they recommended. The recommendation was a breakfast sandwich - the bacon, egg, and chive cream cheese on the everything bagel. It was great. I would definitely get this again. Enjoyed it so much we stopped in twice while visiting over the weekend. I tried the cinnamon roll and breakfast sandwich on an Asiago cheese bagel. It all tasted delicious but I'll admit it was pretty basic. The cinnamon rolls are covered (literally every inch) in icing. Super sweet cream cheese frosting! Yum! The breakfast sandwich with sausage egg and cheese was good too. Although the sausage and egg are not fresh. They are precooked and heated up with the sandwich when it's ordered. The staff was excellent though! It's mostly younger kids but they are polite, attentive, and provide service with a smile. The food may not blow you out of the water but I will go back when I'm in town because of the service and vibes. read more

I came in on a Saturday around 9 AM and unsurprisingly, it was packed due to the farmer's market, a bike race, and another installment of the No Kings protest. I waited in line for around 15 minutes and received my order 5-10 minutes after. Service was friendly and prices were pretty reasonable (I'm coming from Los Angeles where a bagel sandwich can push $15-20 dollars). However, I was not expecting much, because my first impression of their bagels was that they were small and incredibly pale. I ordered the Special K (onions, tomato, sprouts) on spinach parmesan and a lox sandwich on everything, which is my litmus test for bagel shops. As suspected, the bagels were pretty unremarkable. They have a bit of chew, but are mostly limp and bready. There is no crisp, glossy surface that I like my bagels to have. The Special K was serviceable (you can't go wrong with veggies) and the spinach parmesan bagel was flavorful, though the texture left much to be desired. The lox bagel was decently priced and had a good amount of salmon, but the everything bagel was so overly salted that the sandwich was a big salt bomb. Kind of disappointed, not really surprised, might reluctantly come back when I desperately need to scratch the itch. read more

I really enjoyed my bagel sandwich here. I got the ODR, which came with turkey, bacon, and chives/onion cream cheese. I had the bagel toasted and the meats warmed. They put on a good amount of spread and more bacon than I was expecting. I chose an everything bagel and it went together well. The service was friendly and I like the casual vibes. If I could give this 10 stars I would. The rosemary salt bagel was amazing I got it with the veggie cream cheese and it had big pieces of cucumber and green onions and soo much flavor also got an Asiago bagel with strawberry cream cheese, I know it's weird but it's my fav, and again the cc had so much strawberry it was literally pink, it was soo good. The hubs got a sandwich with jalapeño cc which he said was awesome too! But that rosemary salt bagel was the real star I'll be thinking about it for a long time! read more

I will admit that I am a sucker for a good NY style type of bagel situation! Because frankly you can tell when it's just not right. This spot delivers the freshness and the goodness in a righteous way! Be sure to arrive early and be prepared to wait, this place is popular. Lots of selections to put on your bagel, I am a purist and prefer cream cheese over meat/eggs/etc. They load up the cream cheese too without asking so be sure you request if you want it spread on lightly. I got the cutest souvenir sticker for my car! I wish they had more seating to accommodate all the Saturday customers. Anyway, I am a fan! Yum! This is what is I feel about this great bagel shop. My favorite item to order is the bagel and lox without capers (not a fan of capers). I have had it on several types of bagels but my favorite is Asiago bagel. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very clean and inviting. This is my FAVORITE bagel place in Northwest Arkansas. It is also a lot of people's favorite place because you have to get there early to get the bagel you want. This place is barely a shadow of what it once was. Now they don't produce enough bagels to cover their business hours. The bagels are thin rings not resembling bagels at all. I ordered The Pig twice recently, which getting there early, the selection was grim, the bagels were not even half the size of what they once were. I am not sure how they manage to stay in business with such a very lame selection. Absolutely a shame to see this happen when they had such potential. The bagel bins were mostly empty each recent visit. Einstein Bagel Company has zero competition from Ozark Mountain Bagels at this point in time. Okay, let me start by saying, people get picky when it comes to bagels, I get it and I understand. Just because this wasn't my type of bagel doesn't mean it's bad - it wasn't bad, it just wasn't my kind of bagel. I like the bigger bagels that have a little crunch on the outside and are chewy on the inside. That wasn't what this was. Also, I ordered the ham, egg and cheese bagel and the egg wasn't the light and fluffy eggs that I enjoy. Just because this wasn't for me doesn't mean you won't like it or make it "bad". I will say that the service was excellent. They were nice and polite and the restaurant was clean. I enjoyed the experience but I cannot give it four or five stars because this just wasn't my kind of bagel. Hands down my favorite bagel shop in NWA (both this location and the original off S. Walton). The service is always prompt and friendly, fresh bagels never disappoint, nice selection of local coffee brews. I love having this location near the Bentonville Square - great to pop in before strolling the farmer's market on a Saturday. My only one complaint (which is really only a testament to how great they are) is that OMB is no longer a secret around NWA - which means they will sometimes run out of my favorite bagel, or there are long lines. Having said that, they are still tops in my books, and a sign of how great (and popular!) they are. read more

The Ozark Mountain Bagel in the square is just as good as the location by rainbow curve on Walton. The bagels are fresh and delicious. If you can get the day old bagels, you get a bag of half a dozen or so for about $3. This is the best deal in the place. I probably shouldn't share my go to order since the bag of day old bagels is in limited quantity, but I try to be an objective Yelper. :) The location of OMB in the square is ideal. If you are going to the farmers market on a Saturday morning, a stop by OMB is a must. read more

I truly appreciate a place with a Pepsi machine that serves coke products in cans/bottles. I was here three days and ate here twice, got extra bagels to take back both times!! Holy hell. This is the best bagel place I've been to in a LONG time. Won't tell ya how many bagels I consumed or how much we spent, but I'll say this: it was all worth it. I love a good bagel, location and customer service and this place gets 5 stars for all three of those categories. I have been a costumer at their other location in Bentonville. This one is a little closer to me and I love the location, right in downtown Bentonville. The ambiance inside is friendly and inviting. They have plenty of tables and bar seating for all different types of groups or individuals coming into eat a bagel. I've been in a few times and customer service was great. There was one time that the woman helping me seem to just be talking and not listening to me. Example: she would ask a question and just kind of nod or respond where I could tell she didn't really care. Even though she asked the question in the first place haha. Anyways, besides that customer service has always been great and I'm not nit picky so it didn't bother me about the woman, just something I noticed. They make good bagels! I haven't tried many of theirs because honestly I love a plain bagel toasted with cream cheese or butter.
