I should stop bothering with trying to order from here. Every time I do, they're out of bagels. Today when I woke up at around 10:15 bagels were still on the menu in the app so I placed an order. Turns out that was a lie, they stopped selling them at 10 AM. Instea​d of canceling my order or telling my driver so they could ask if I wanted anything else, they just wrote "out" and gave me a bag with only a side of yogurt and a drink. The bagel was the only thing I wanted, but now that I payed $18.50 getting the order up to the minimum for delivery and and paying the delivery fee & tip and only got $4 back I can't afford to order breakfast from a different place. Went to have lunch with my daughter. I had foot surgery 3 weeks ago so I'm on a knee scooter. Panera bread in Bentonville Arkansas is NOT handicap accessible!!!!! They have a ramp BUT you have to get over a large curb first!!!! I fell off the curb leaving because I was trying to maneuver my scooter down the curb while hanging onto the rail. I fell on my foot I just had surgery on and hurt my shoulder trying to hang onto the rail!! This place is really going downhill. The fountain machine, all the drinks were flat, the floors look like they haven't been swept in a couple days, there were no napkins in the dispenser. The men's bathroom sink was nasty, there was no toilet paper in the dispenser, the bread on my sandwich had to have been left out overnight. I could only eat one side of the sandwiches bread because it was so hard. This place used to be so good, can't see this place staying in business any longer. We visited for supper on a Saturday night. The restaurant was half empty with a lot of tables in need of cleaning. Apparently this location gets a lot of Door Dash orders. Our food took about 15 minutes to be ready as a lot of order pick-ups showed up as my husband waited for his name to be called. I had the Green Goddess Cobb with grilled chicken, which was pretty good, if a bit heavy on dressing. My husband enjoyed his Asian Sesame Chicken Salad, while our son had a grilled cheese with chips. Unfortunately, that sandwich was left sitting out for over 10 minutes as the rest of our order was gathered--my husband saw it as he was waiting--but our son still thought it was okay. Well I suppose there is a first time for everything. In this case it's myself writing a review. Although after the way the "manager" Adele acted today I would be remiss if I just let this one slide. Adele was her name as she so rudely told me. I simply went in for two breakfast sandwich and a pup cup. Now I am somewhat new to eating at Panera but I was told that some locations offered this pup cup as just something on the side while other locations may not. Totally understandable. Except for the fact that I had in the last two weeks gone here for breakfast and each time gotten a pup cup I knew it wasn't a given. Now when I asked for a pup cup a simple sorry we don't offer that would have been fine. Instead I was met with "what do you mean a pup cup" I said you know like for a dog and in return I got "umm yes I know it's for a dog what is in it" now obviously if she was talking in a normal tone I wouldn't have thought anything. She was not talking in a normal tone though. After then very rudely telling me they don't offer them and me saying ok but fyi I just got one yesterday when I was here I was told she wouldn't be dealing with this and to pull to the window, which I did but not before telling her how extremely rude she was being. I sat there and when she came to the window it was an an immediate "so what are we talking about pup cup" I said I would like the manager which she stated "I am the manager". Well now what a wonderful example to set for your employees. After more back and forths we came to the agreement I wouldn't be taking my sandwiches, to which she tried slamming the drive through window. I will be putting this everywhere I can and reaching out as high as I can. We all have bad days but when you are in the service industry you need to leave it at the door. First of all- that pickle should never have been put anywhere but the trash. The chicken sandwich had a good flavor but the chicken was cut up into small pieces. Which made it very hard to pickup. My husband & I was in the area & had 2- $25 gift cards. Went in & one girl was up front. Maybe 1/2 dozen muffins were on display Nothing else was out..... I've never seen this before. We ordered & it was $22 I ran the $25 gift card it was $12 on it!!!!! I was like WHAT?? So I put the second $25 gift card & it had $11 on it What in the world is going on!!!!!!! Took 16 minutes to get our food. Walked up to counter with the buzzer block. The women is yelling at the customer ahead of me to put his buzzer to the other side of counter. So I sat mine down & took food. I think 4 women were behind the counter & 2 of them was wanting to know how to make a pickles shot cause they had them last night & were So so good. Great! ‍ I went to get my drink & all the lids were gone went to good counter (which is right by it) The woman said sure handed me a handful & said Put the rest over there. Hahahaha!!!!!!! I used to love the Panera in Prairie village before we moved to Arkansas. We went for their sourdough bread and rolls and their incredibly delicious sandwiches. WTF is the Panera in Bentonville about? Beyond disappointing and shocked that, at noon, they were out of everything. I used to love the Frontega chicken sandwich with chipotle mayo. Ordered a half sandwich and it was beyond inedible. The chipotle mayo that I dream of actually tasted weird. Like it spoiled or nbd had some other issues that I couldn't discern. And, for the gustatory pleasure that was entirely absent, I had a bill of almost $11. For half a really crappy sandwich. NEVER going back. Ordered a soup and sandwich combo to be delivered tonight. Uber delivery was excellent. The tomato soup was very good. The grilled cheese sandwich however, was not. The sandwich was not toasted! What I received was soft white bread with melted cheese inside. Not a grilled cheese sandwich. Not sure how they managed to make it this way, but it was very disappointing. Been here every Sunday for the past couple of months either through the drive thru or go in. Either way we are served with attitude or lied to. I was told in the drive thru they were out of a certain food, so walked inside and saw they were in fact not out of that item. The male in the drive thru is always glaring at us because our order is "difficult" even though it's just a bagel through the bread slicer. Any time we order inside the lady growls at us for the same order and begins to complain and rant about having to use the bread slicer. And goes on to say that they do not clean the bread slicer. I'm sorry it does not matter the workers opinions, the customer is always right. And being a precious worker, this behavior needs to be addressed along with the cleaning habits apparently. read more

We've eaten at this restaurant a few times. The food is usually good, can't really complain there. however, this particular Panera is always dirty. always. It's extremely frustrating that a restaurant that has some of the best lunch options and really delicious food, is so filthy all the time... this is honestly the biggest issue we have. I wish I could say they look short staffed or they are super busy, but this is just not the case. Everytime we've been in, there's a dozen workers socializing in the back, while the dining room goes completely ignored, napkins unstocked, drink station with soda stains everywhere, no lids, dirty glass doors, just rediculous. We were at the register while an employee put French bread into bags instead of taking our order. We asked specifically if they had focaccia bread for a sandwich. The employee went to ask someone. we waited for about 35 minutes without getting our order and then heard someone who was making sandwiches yelled out What, No focaccia bread???? My wife and I have always enjoyed coming here in the past, but kind of stay away from anything that is located in Bentonville since traffic is always so bad! Based on price alone, I will not be back!!! Next up, good quality. This will not be a fair comparison, as I did not get what I ordered. But, let's rate it anyway. The soup... while the taste was okay, the temperature was not. It was luke warm, at best. The Buffalo Chicken Melt... some dried chicken, a little squirt of Buffalo sauce, and a few fried pickles. A MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better chicken sandwich can be had from nearly anywhere!!! My wife's food.... Essentially the same. She was not overly impressed with her Pepperoni Mozzarella Melt, which had a few slices of Pepperoni, a little bit of cheese, wrapped in a tough baguette. The service.., what can I say? Apparently COVID has infected everyone in the service industry and destroyed part of their brains, because customer service has disappeared. At this location, you walk up to the counter to order, place your order, are encouraged to leave a tip, then handed a pager for your meal. It's been several years since I've been to a Panera. I had a gift card and decided to use it in the Bentonville location. This location seems a little tired. Certainly could use a freshening up. There wasn't anyone to take my order. I waited about 5 minutes or so. I asked worker who was walking by if i should use the kiosk or wait. It's a little confusing. I ordered a caesar chicken salad. It was okay. It took awhile to be prepared. As i was eating, I heard them tell other people in line that it's going to take at least 20-30 minutes. It appears that they are very busy with to-gos. The restaurant was about 3/4 full right at lunch. I saw people actually leave before they ordered. Something is just not working well with their process. No I was not I was pretty quiet when I asked and since the restaurant was pretty empty I was clearly not making a scene. I lived Panera but this one is terrible. I love Panera, I go and eat about twice a week since it's near to where I work at. I've always thought the food is A1 and I've never had issues with it. I always order the same thing and recently I've been getting some bad emerald greens. I can live past some past due emerald greens, I know produce is hard to keep fresh. This time I got some slimy emerald greens and they are so bad I don't understand how someone could have possibly served that to me! Why does McDonald's have better lettuce than Panera ? I had 50 dollars to blow so I thought why not go to my favorite overpriced sandwich lounge. Everything looked quiet scrumptious so I just ask the host to surprise me with something pretentious, as if I was going to dine at the Panera bread company I might as well get the full experience. Like my nana always said if you don't pay 40 dollars for a sandwich you're not doing it right. The host came to table and bestowed upon me a pickled cucumber baguette with jalapeño cheddar pimento cheese. It was absolutely heavenly. I'm here on business from St Louis and decided on something I am familiar with. However my experience was nothing like I have had at any other Panera / St Louis Bread company anywhere in the country. The only reason I'm giving them a two is because the service was good. But people don't go to restaurants only for service they go for the food. The soup was just ok. I've had much better at the same restaurant chain. I did give the sandwich a try and it tasted like it looked "not good." I ended up throwing it away after the first bite. I should have taken it back and asked for a manager. But didn't think it's worth it if your first and best was what I received. My suggestion to all go elsewhere and save yourself some money and frustration until this Panera can get control over the quality of their food they send out to their customers. read more
