Initially, I was informed that the stain removal service would cost $1050 but that I would only have to pay $105 after insurance. I was hesitant due to the fact this was considered cosmetic. I verified this amount multiple times: with the office staff who checked with my insurance companies, the insurance person in the office, and even directly with Dr. Sultan, who reassured me that $105 was the total I would owe. I even confirmed when we returned for the service. However, two weeks after the service was performed, I received a bill for $325.90 When I called the office, they informed me that this was the balance after insurance had paid, meaning I was now out of pocket $430.90 for a service I didn't really want but was CONVINCED to get because they ASSURED me insurance would cover the majority of the cost. After going back and forth with the office I offered to PAY HALF of the unexpected bill, which I thought was FAIR, the office REFUSED, and they are now charging me interest on the outstanding amount. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and feels very misleading. I strongly advise others to be very cautious with this office and Dr Sultan and ensure all costs are clearly outlined and confirmed before agreeing to any additional services. I feel like I was robbed.

My daughter still talks about her "trip" to the Dentist and how she can't wait to go back. She constantly wants to brush her teeth, and things are just right with the world! We went as a family this past Thursday. They took many safety precautions due to COVID19 and I felt very comfortable going into their office. We called when we arrived and they had us wait outside until it was our turn (which was not a long wait at all). We went in and towards the back where there was a room that had two chairs. My husband held my son on his lap and I held my daughter on mine. Dr. Hollywood came to say hi before the kids got their teeth cleaned. The dental hygienist was very patient and talked my daughter through her first cleaning. She counted her teeth, and cleaned them with a chocolate flavored toothpaste (my son had the orange). After the cleaning we had to wait just a little bit to see Dr. Hollywood again. She gave us some tips on brushing and flossing, and told us we can begin to use a very small amount of fluoride toothpaste. The appointment ended with a fluoride cleaning. It was quick and painless. My kids were then giving little "goodie" bags and even received a coin to get a small prize from the front of the office. It was such a pleasant experience and I'm so happy to have found Nutley Pediatric Dentistry. Thank you so much Dr. Hollywood and staff for making my kids first dental appointment so easy. One Dentist actually threw me out of his office because they wanted to charge me $400 for the xrays and consultation and i nicely asked why, and that the nurse over the phone told me it was free. I can't tell you how degrading it is to have bad teeth and not be able to afford a nice smile. Dr Schild is a very compassionate and sweet man. I told him my situation and he didn't hesitate and said we will figure it out one way or another. And along with his amazing staff we started the process.It took a few months but now I have a perfect smile! A full set of permanent implants! The movie star teeth I always wanted.
