The massage was great, the past thirty years I had lived in California and got massages quite often, so I consider myself a pretty good judge of what is or isn't a good massage, once the therapist got started she really went to work on the knots on my shoulders and in my neck, it wasn't easy going, ( because I had held a lot of stress there) but she did a great job. SUPER!! Next was the facial and that was bliss,I loved every bit of it and I believe I fell asleep briefly it was that relaxing and my face felt AMAZING afterwards. They day before the appointment, the owner called to cancel because their salt filter "had been stolen". Later in the phone call, she said it was because it wasn't working. Sketchy. I asked for a refund of my "hold fee" and was told it would be credited the next day. It's been nearly 6 months - I've attempted to call and email the owner multiple times and she avoids talking with me, leaving her poor employees to divert the call. Waited an extra 15…read moreminutes past my appointment time, and then my nail tech came to get me in the lobby by calling "pedicure?" Instead of my name. Not personalized or friendly. She also refused to wear a mask which I'm pretty sure is against state law for their industry? The pedicure chairs are comfortable but do not massage, and they do not have pedicure tubs - you just sit there and get your toes painted in a lazy boy basically. My tech said it's because the owner wanted to try something different... but it is so NOT relaxing. The service descriptions are misleading as I got a "sunshine and green tea" service which partook of bath & body works lotion, aluminum foil, and a foot buffer that looked like a cheese grater. My feet are all raw and red the day after, as she was far too zealous over that thing. My manicure after ended right when they closed, and instead of ensuring my nails were accurately dried they put an oil on them and sprayed them with some concoction and ushered me to the checkout. My nails are now all messed up from the multiple layers of coat not drying properly to where I'll be repainting them today. 10/10 will not return to this establishment.
