This is also the special place where my husband asked me to marry him in 2016. The owner, Heather, is so friendly and generous. She makes the best cheese plates in the afternoons for happy hour and the BEST omelettes for breakfast. By the way, breakfast and happy hour is included with your stay. Everything is made to order and the spreads are always incredible. One of the best perks about the Inn! It's romantic and relaxing all rolled into one vacation. The customer service from each lady at the Inn is outstanding. They truly care about your vacation and constantly check in to make sure you're more than happy with your stay. Heather even made hot tea for my husband one day and brought it out to him by the pool. So kind. Our air conditioner had an issue one night and we were promptly given a key to another room where we could sleep for the night. Heather had maintenance out the next morning and the issue was taken care of quickly. We have stayed in the Flamingo room and the Serenity room all times we've been here. These are the only two rooms located in the spa building and the heated mineral pool is right outside their doors. We love The White Orchid Inn and Spa and already look forward to the day when we return. The ladies really made our trip special this time around and we are grateful for that. Inside was a white robe, and there was also an area with sandals in all different sizes for guests to choose from. They explained the ins and outs of the spa and told me they give guests the option to arrive an hour early or stay an hour after their appointment to enjoy the pool and hot tub amenities. Honestly, I only came in expecting to get a massage, not to spend extra time there--but after their warm introduction, they made it impossible not to. They told me they would come find me when it was time, so I kept an open mind, put on my swimsuit, grabbed my book, and went out by the pool. Sitting there, reading in that beautiful setting, completely shifted my mindset. When my appointment began, the NEW Stress Elimination Massage - 50 minutes, done by Ashlaye, was incredible and exactly what I needed.
