I initially received a text confirming that a technician would come on August 12th, only for the appointment to be cancelled. It was then rescheduled for August 14th with a confirmed time window of 8 AM-12 PM. When no one showed up by noon, I called to find out what was going on, only to be told that the appointment was actually scheduled for 1-3 PM, despite the confirmation I had clearly stating 8 AM-12 PM. A technician finally showed up around 3 PM, and to make matters worse, he did not speak a word of English. He was in my home for what felt like two seconds, barely looked at the refrigerator, and left. There was no meaningful explanation of what was wrong or what needed to be done. I had to call back again on Monday morning, only to be told that a part had been ordered and that it would take approximately two weeks to arrive. After all of that waiting, I finally received confirmation that a technician would come on August 28th. And once again, it was the same technician who could not communicate in English. He replaced a part and immediately left. He did not reprogram the refrigerator, did not wait to see whether it actually started working, did not verify that it was holding temperature, and did not properly diagnose or check other critical components such as the fan or compressor. So after waiting weeks, taking time out of my schedule, dealing with multiple appointment issues, and repeatedly calling customer service, my refrigerator still wasn't properly diagnosed or repaired. This is absolutely ridiculous. The level of customer service has been some of the worst I have ever experienced, and the technician service was just as unacceptable. Replacing a part and walking away without verifying that the refrigerator is actually working is not a repair or a proper diagnosis. DO NOT use this company if they are assigned to you through your manufacturer's warranty. If your manufacturer recommends or assigns them, I strongly suggest requesting a different service company. Save yourself the frustration, wasted time, and endless phone calls. Very disappointed and extremely frustrated with this entire experience.

There is no merchandise to inspect, no restocking fee, HD cancelled the order. Simply reverse the charges. Absolute terrible customer service -online, Chat and FaceBook.

A few weeks ago I bought a window air conditioner from PC Richards in Danbury CT. The air conditioner had numerous problems and was just plain defective. I called the store on the phone and my call was promptly answered after only 3 rings. I explained the situation to the girl who answered the phone and she told me to just bring it back to the store. Arriving at the store a few days later I was greeted at the customer service desk I assume with a smile ( the girl had a mask on so I could not see LOL ) I informed her why I was there and she remembered my phone call. She had someone go out and remove the air conditioner from my car and bring it into the store. Salesperson " Alex " dealt with me and asked if I wanted a refund, a replacement unit or a different one. I chose a different make and model that was selling for a lower price. The difference was cheerfully refunded to my card account. The replacement unit I selected was then taken out to my car I know P C Richard does not manufacture what they sell so I can't blame them for not knowing the Air Con I bought was defective. I am very pleased the way my return was handled and I will be sure to buy future items from them. read more

So refreshing to have a Reliable company in the Gateway Mall. We needed a new refrigerator ASAP cuz ours stopped working suddenly. We were worried we would have to wait so long and eat out for like a week but instead we walked in and were greeted by Kirby who took time and patience with us, kept us within our budget and explained the features and benefits of the product to sell my husband who is a tough sell!! Stephen the manager is exceptional, he personally ensured we would have a seamless experience, including removal of the old fridge and of all the packaging of the new one which the last company we shopped with charged us for removal and refused to take the packaging away....GO TO PC RICHARD & SON in Gateway Mall ask for Kirby or Stephen and you won't regret it....Thanks again guys!!!! read more

As soon as I opened the door I was greeted so pleasantly and was in for an experience like no other! Max makes you feel like family, he focuses on your wants and needs instead of on your pocket. A truly real, friendly, and knowledgeable guy with a great sense of humor. Through guiding my family and I through setting up a plan, Max hit it right on with why PC is the only way to go! Extremely grateful for all the help that David (Manager) and the rest of his staff provided. I was on a two day hunt for the Samsung S3 Classic Smart watch and by then had called every possible retailer that may potentially be carrying it and was shit out of luck until I spoke with David who went out of his way to find it and hold onto it for me until I made my way over to Brooklyn from Queens. I got to work inside the store as a sales rep for sonos audio to help boost sales. I got along well with the associates and managers. When I needed help they always lended a hand. Oh well, I didn't like the 2 mattresses I got to see during my visit (because she would only show me more stuff if I was ready to buy) and I will never go back to this location. I hope some day they learn that being greedy and pushy will NOT help them sell stuff! If I had found a mattress I liked I would definitely go back with my wife to make sure she likes it and we would purchase after we moved.
