I don't normally write reviews but I felt do to the service I received at PC Richard & Son that I needed to take the time to share my experience. My wife and I along with our 3 kids visited the Babylon store on 2/21/2015 looking for a new washer and dryer. We were greeted by one of the sales reps named Kailash. This young man was top notch, From his product knowledge to his ability to listen to what we needed and our concerns I could not be more happy with the entire process. He first showed us what we came to look at but but then showed us another set that was a little more expensive but explained with our family size and the features that this alternative set had, It quickly became clear that this was the choice. As we were making the purchase he informed us that we could take delivery during the week and we had informed him that do to our work schedules we would have to set up delivery for the following weekend. He proceeded to go above and beyond and go the extra mile and some how managed to get it delivered the next day early in the morning. Mind you he made the sale and didn't have to do that. I also wanted to make note that the guys that came the next morning to deliver and install it were great as well. As I was outside shoveling the snow off the steps for them they took the shovel from me and shoveled a path all the way to the truck. They upgraded my plug for the dryer so it would be up to code. All in all this was an outstanding experience and I would highly recommend this company and especially the sales rep that I dealt with. GREAT JOB!!! read more

I wish I could really give more than 5 stars to this PC Richard's. I was recommended by a friend who had just previously dealt with Oscar about a bunch of appliances and home electronics. I just bought a house so I needed a bunch of things. He was very knowledgeable on everything we looked at and if we wasn't sure about a particular specification on a product, he actually went on his phone to check exactly what it was to make sure I am getting the right information and dimensions. He could have easily just said yeah or sure, but he double checked... I appreciate stuff like that very much. He went above and beyond in his service and his time was completely devoted to us the entire time we were there. As we were wrapping things up, his manager Chris had come over to speak with my fiancé and I to make sure Oscar was running a smooth deal and Chris was more than courteous. I noticed his attention to detail and professionalism and I commend it. He even called me up a few days later to update me on my order and ensured things were going according to plan which I very much appreciated. I've walked out of other similar stores and could care less to write up a review but after my experience this past weekend, this is a 5 star PC Richard and I highly recommend!!! read more

My family and I have been buying appliances from PCRichards for years. In fact, I personally bought a dishwasher and washing machine within the last two years. There is nothing better than going into a store and feeling like you're at home. The store itself is super clean and organized and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. What made my experiences at PCRichards even better is working with Jerome Q. He remembers all of his customers and always greets me with a smile. Jerome is extremely professional and always spends time with me even though I tend to be indecisive. Jerome had helped me find just the right appliances for my lifestyle and budget. I have never written a review or complimented a store or representative in the past but felt like doing so now with the holidays approaching. It seems like good customer service is nearly impossible to find these days. Those that "do it right" should be applauded. I have plans to go there this week to buy a stove and a washing machine for my mother. I'll definitely call ahead to make sure Jerome is working to ensure this next shopping trip is as pleasurable as my last few. read more

Another great experience at PC Richards. We needed a new refrigerator, Went on line. Found the refrigerator that would fit in our kitchen. Than checked out all the big box stores on LI. Got all the pricing info. Called a lot of the stores and only PCR had the refrigerator in stock. I called my long time salesman, CLIFF, at the WEST BABYLON STORE. He met the lowest price I could find on the internet. He explained everything about my purchase. I bought the 10 year service plan, my luck with these refrigerators is bad (you name it, it broke (a GE product). This one is a Samsong. I hope I have better luck with it. Just on the safe side I got a 10 year service plan. It covers all the things that went bad on the old one. He was able to have the refrigerator delivered the next day, I bought it the night before. My old GE started acting up again. I had enough. The delivery people were very careful bringing the new three hundred pound thing upstairs to the kitchen. I had purchased a G.E.above the stove Microwave just 3 months ago from our salesman Tom Staralla. We were replacing our other one because the magnetron had gone on it. After approximately 2 months of use the microwave started humming so I called Tom & he said not to worry it was under warrantee for 1 year & that he would call & set up a serviice call with G .E. He immediately contacted them & called me back with the date & time. G.E. Came that week & the serviceman checked it out & said that the magnetron had to be replaced however he didn't have the part on the truck & that he had to order it & he himself would come back the next Thursday between 8am & 12. He never showed up. To make a LONG story short,G.E. Then informed me,that the part was back ordered for 6 weeks. I then contacted Tom & brought him up to speed,& he immediately jumped into action & arranged for me to receive a brand new micro 3 days later!!! Kudos to Tom & P.C. Richards for coming through in a timely fashion!!! read more

I went in to get an in wall a/c unit that fits into a sleeve that is a rare type. I called first and spoke to Cliff who went above and beyond. He gave me his cell ph # and had me send several pics of the existing unit and sleeve and found 2 products to match my needs. cliff assisted me with friendliness a d honesty which made for a great experience. After being approved for 6 months free financing I also left with 2 of the most comfortable pillows I've ever laid on. when I added the pillows to the order he went to the manger and got approval for 12 months interest free! thanks Cliff and pc Richard! this was beyond refreshing because I called their competitor Plessers first and was told he could not help me with dimensions and id have to contact the current manufacturer to find out what they make now that's comparable and then go back to him with the product number...basically unwilling to do any work. read more

My salesperson, Adrian, was so helpful when choosing appliances and electronics to replace items lost in our Breezy Point home due to Superstorm Sandy. We had to replace everything. After what we went through, it was comforting that Adrian understood our situation and did whatever he could to get us what we needed, advised us of the best choices and did whatever he could financially to get us the best possible price. He was so compassionate and treated us like family. This was so important considering what we had been through. We relied on his professional expertise and were happy with all the choices we made. Shopping at P.C. Richard was the best experience because of our Salesperson, Tony T. My family & I went to the store awhile after Hurricane Sandy. We were devastated & lost so much. Tony helped us with such understanding & compassion. It would be many more months until I was able to finalize my purchase, & through it all. Tony was so understanding & never pressured us. My family went through many hurdles during the year after Sandy but Tony held our order & checked in with us from time to time. These guys rock! I have been buying my appliances from PC forever, as did my father and mother before me. I recently had to replace the whole house full of appliances because of SANDY and these guys made it easy. My salesman was Adrian. I mention that because his personal attention was part of the reason it was easy. His guidance and advocacy saved me huge amounts of time and trouble. I did make a bad decision an one of the appliances that I bought, (i didn't listen)and there was a repair issue. They allowed me to replace it and exchange it without a hassel.. Who does that? I had bought a GE stove. There was a problem with the oven door closing and sealing, when I used the oven the handle and stove knobs became extremely hot. A serviceman came twice. He replaced the door once and the hinges another time. I went back to the store and spoke to the manager Jerome, in a very professional and speedy manner he reviewed my complaint. He spoke to someone at headquarters, and I received a new replacement stove. It was much simpler then I had imagined it would be, with even better results. All in all, a great experience from a potentially not so great situation. P.C.Richards definitely stands behind there products, and a point man like Jerome saved the day for me. Thanks again. Today we visited to purchase a dehumidifier. We have made this trip here many times before to purchase tv's ( for home and for the kids for college), all the appliances for our kitchen (2X), washer and dryer, laptops, cameras, video game stations and games. I went into the store to look into purchasing a new dishwasher and look for a stove as well and was greeted by Patrick, he helped me make a decision on both appliances without being pushy. He was extremely knowledgeable about both products and even though I wasn't making the purchase that day he still spent time going over my concerns. One of my biggest pet peeves is when you go into a store like that they want the sale and want to move onto the next customer and I did NOT get that feeling from Patrick. I have been dealing with P.C. Richards for over 26 years and my most recent purchase is the reason why . I bought a new stove , microwave and dishwasher over the summer ,service was great as always . Two weeks ago I purchased a matching wall oven and found out a few days later that is was discontinued . The manager Jerome and his sales associate Rose spent a week and half looking for one and called today to say they have it and it will be installed this coming friday . I want to start of my saying my wife is 8 months pregnant. Our a.c.went out and on the first hot day this year do we went to a local PC Richards to replace it. After bringing it home and setting it up we discovered that the previous owner and fine some shady electrical work. We had to have an electrician come and ruin new wire and it still didn't work. Do we called the PC Richards to figure out what to do. Alex Scatuccio was the gentleman who helped us and he bent over backwards to make sure that my wife would be comfortable going forward. Our sales associate Anthony Caramanico has been providing excellent service and prices to us for many years. We have purchased many items including a complete kitchen, washer and dryer,TV's and electronics and have recommended him to others, who also have turned into loyal customers. He is very laid back and doesn't give you the typical "hard" sale. Basically tell him what you need and he gives you an amazing price. He has also handled any repairs by scheduling with their service department. I was shopping with my 3 children 6,8,&10years old that in itself is difficult!The asst manager,salesman and the manager were so helpful and you do not find this kind of excellent service these days!
