I really like PF Changs and I wanted to give them a good review but the service at this location is sub par to say the least. It takes forever for food to come and if you sit at the bar, the bartender spends the entire time in the kitchen instead of serving you. I've visited at least 5 times before writing this review and could only come up with 3 stars. If they improve the service they would get at least 4 from me because the food is great. Overall, one of my favorite restaurants. Service was great. Great for large parties! The drinks were a little weak, but we found out later we could add liquor for an upcharge. We ordered tons of dishes for the table to share. However, all the shrimp dishes were uncooked. The final shrimp dish, honey shrimp, we had to send it back. The cook agreed they cooked it wrong. Soooo, why send it out if it was cooked wrong. They cooked us another dish which was great. Only complaint, consistency! read more

Made reservations 2 weeks in advance and when we got there at the time of our reservation and had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. Then once we were seated we placed our order right away. After an hour had gone by we asked one of the workers if they could check on our food. They then came to our table and informed us that they ran out of the food we ordered. If we didn't ask about our food, who knows how long we would've been sitting there. We live about 45 mins away so 4 hours of our night was wasted and still did not get any food. They didn't even try to make the situation better and pretty much told us that "we were free to go" since they didn't have what we ordered...would give them a -10,000 rating if i could. read more

I feel the food is good- but not spectacular. I'm big on Asian Fusion and they just really don't do anything special, or above and beyond. In my opinion P.F.is way too "packaged" and probably deserves to be a nice place that you stop off after a day shoping and not really a destination spot. Please take note however, the food is good- I just prefer something smaller and with more charector. NOT something that appears like it has all been dropped off by a truck. Well I'm not sure what to say. Food was great. Loved our appetizers and soup and our meals were tasty. Unfortunately the place was noisy with babies crying (hence my dilemma). Don't get me wrong,love kids just a little crazy today with Fathers Day. Bottom line, recommend for quick Chinese meal. read more

I've never had a bad meal nor bad service at a PF Chang's until today. Restaurant closes at 10, walked in at about 8:40 for dinner service. Stood at the hostess stand for about 10 minutes while 1 server stood in the kitchen staring at us, 2 continues to clean tables, and the bartender ran bottles... all of whom saw us and moved throughout the floor without even the bother of an acknowledgement. We nodded from across the restaurant, tried to get attention... and were completely ignored. There was no, "hey, we've stopped serving for the night," or, "I'm sorry, the kitchen has already closed." Just awkwardly making eye contact while trying tell us to leave. Really guys?! Super glad that that Brio across the way knows that if your restaurant is open until 10, you seat guests until dinner service is over. read more

Just woefully understaffed and driving customers elsewhere. Sadly watched persons with reservations waiting. Apparently a lot of the staff called out and opted to take a day off before the holiday. Had to walk to the waiter to ask for utensils, plates, check and to hand deliver credit card to him. The sweet and sour soup was strong tasting so we took it home but the Letice wraps are a standard and are always good. The restrurent was operating at 20% capacity so it was calm quite and with exellent service made for an enjoyable evening. Jenna made our visit enjoyable and fun. Left P.F. Chang's after failure to receive our food and beverages. We arrived and with barely anyone in the restaurant- we waited a few minutes just to be seated. After being seated, it took 10 minutes for a waiter to take our order. After that, we sat and waited and waited and waited. Another waiter asked if we were being helped. We explained that our order had been taken but if he could bring us water that would be great (even though we asked for water previously). Thankfully that waiter brought us water but still nothing from our waiter. We complained to male host. He explained that he gave our waiter too many tables. Seriously??? The restaurant was virtually empty. My mother and I continued to wait. We mutually agreed to leave and find another restaurant for lunch. Thankfully, we dined at Nova Sushi Bar in Edgewater, where the food and service was excellent! My husband and I stopped in for lunch during a day date since school will be out soon. We ordered the Dynamite Shrimp for our appetizer and I really enjoyed them. They had a slight heat that stayed constant but didn't overwhelm the shrimp. My husband ordered the Bibimbap and I ordered the Mandarin Crunch Salad with lemongrass chicken. The description of the salad said that it is julienned vegetables, chopped cabbage, mango, almonds, crispy rice sticks, and a mandarin vinaigrette. When our food arrived I immediately could smell peanuts and as I mixed up the salad, I noticed that there was not one single, solitary piece or hint of mango. Eventually, we were able to get our server's attention and let her know that the salad didn't have any mango and the vinaigrette seemed like peanut vinaigrette than MANDARIN. Im not allergic to peanut but I did want what the menu described. The server apologized profusely and had a new salad including mango made for me. I don't know if there is a run on mangos but there was barely any in this second salad. By this time I didn't care. We had already wasted time waiting for the salad to be corrected and we needed to get back up the road before the kid got out of school. The second time around the non-mandarin-like vinaigrette came on the side. Sigh. Whatever. I'm starving and we need to leave soon. Now typically, in my experience, if something has to be sent back, the manager comes over to make sure everything is okay, maybe even comps something on the ticket to make up for the mistake. Nope. Nothing. Nada. Nobody came over to confirm if the salad was finally right or even offer another apology. Very disappointing. P.F. Chang's food and service used to be better. We won't be returning. There are too many options in that area to be disappointed yet again. I was rooting for you, P.F. Chang's! Food was good, service was horrible. Came in late Saturday afternoon, and it seemed to take forever for our server to take our orders, get our drinks, etc... We finally had to aske the manager if we should get our drinks off the bar, or if the server was going to do that. There are several other good restaurants by this P.F. Chang's in Annapolis Towne Center, and we will never go back to this restaurant. read more

Haven't been here in several years and thought it would be a nice meal for the family celebrating my husband's birthday. I made reservations (which were evidently not needed) and stated it was for a birthday in hopes to get good treatment and a nice table. Upon arrival, I could see a reservation was not necessary. The hostess immediately sat us, a table of 4, to a table with 3 chairs next to several other families in the middle of the room. She said she'd be right back with a chair and as I looked down at the mess under the table, she says, "and a broom." Hesitantly, we started to sit down, but then my daughter stepped on a fork under the table and I stepped on a chopstick. I told them to get up and we requested a booth. After five minutes, we were seated at a booth and my daughter felt something squishy under her foot, a fallen piece of fruit from previous diners. Our waiter was good, but we could see overworked. Food server brought out food without plates and when asked about plates, he said to ask our server. Hmmm...now food is getting cold because this takes several minutes to get his attention. Again, it's been several years since coming, but as noted on menu, entrees are for sharing family style. I don't see how. Portions were small and we each ate our own. Only saw a manager once, when he was summoned by another table who complained about the dirty table they were seated at. Cleanliness doesn't seem to be a big priority nor is customer satisfaction on the mind of all employees (food server, hostess). read more

This chain first came to be in the mid to late 90's and revolutionized the casual dining and Chinese food scene at that time. in the early 2000's I would take clients to the one in Columbia for lunch and it was a welcomed experience. Even when they first opened at the Parole location it was a big hit and we would come and experience long waits. But more recently we find ourselves not coming so much and not only is there never a wait but the clientele is noticeably less upscale. So after not coming here for probably a year we thought we'd give it a try again and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service we got from our server, Desi. We order the value meal for two which included soup (we had egg drop and wanton), lettuce wraps and main dish (I had orange peel chicken which was great and girlfriend had the pad Thai, which was very good), with delicious fried wanton's for dessert. glad to rediscover our old friend PF Chang's. Although I'm not a chinese food eater, I like PF Chang. It's better than the usual chinese eatery at your corner of your block. Starters are special and very good, especially the tuna tartare and new item in menu, tataki tuna crispy. If you want chinese food and you are not near Chinatown, don't make a wrong turn anywhere else because PF Chang will serve you right. read more

We had carry-out from PF Chang's and it was easily the worst meal I've ever had. The Crispy Honey Shrimp was anything but crispy. It was so soggy as to almost be unpalatable. The brown rice was undercooked. Ironically, they had told me on the phone of a 35 minute wait for takeout. Judging from the sogginess of my shrimp dish, it had been sitting for some time before I drove up at the prescribed time. On the plus side, curbside service was prompt and pleasant. It was my first time here; not just this location, but the franchise. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of my experience. The waiter was outstanding in the customer service department. He went above and beyond, answered all of our questions, gave recommendations for dessert, and checked on us without being too attentive. We had the prefixed menu and I went for something out of my norm (Pad Thai) and was pleasantly surprised. My cocktail was so delicious and made right; not weak at all. Pretty busy night for the staff as tables were loaded with dirty dishes. We ordered spring rolls which were barely warm and egg drop soup that was supposed to be freshly made. That wasn't hot either. I ordered a salad I didn't like and our other order never came out. You can tell the kitchen is a mess and isn't organized. The last time we came here our spring rolls were frozen in the middle. Been to many changs and I traditionally like the menu when im in a mindless, non adventorous mood for chinese. However the last time I went to this location, wonton soup was gross, calamari, short ribs, crispy wontons- all not so good and felt Horrible the next day (only 1 cocktail so couldnt have been that) Seemed like a raging headache all day for no reson. Two friends of mine also had a similar experience from there. Strange. Not really food poisioning sick, but headache down and out queasy. And let it be said i dont react to MSG, so maybe some other preservative? I dont eat at chains often because of preservative issues and never had a problem at changs before.... So with not so great food and a headache, might have to take this location off my list of standby stop-in restaurants. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Background: We have been regulars of PF Chang's for about 15 years. This location had been both good and bad, but we stuck with it because my daughter loves the food. The last six months have changed all that. My last three visits have been HORRIBLE. A female manager has come in and is running the restaurant into the ground. In August, my daughter's birthday dinner took almost two hours (just dinner, nothing special) and the kids were hungry. When the food eventually came out, it was cold and the dishes had to be remade. The place was NOT packed...the restaurant was just understaffed and not getting food out of the kitchen (the manager admitted as much). But today was the deal breaker. All our food - appetizers, soup and entrees - was brought out in 22 minutes. Were we supposed to suck the food down? We were in middle of eating our appetizers when we were presented with our entrees. We sent the entrees back to be under the warmer and then asked for the manager. Same woman...worse attitude. When she came to our table, she did not know what the issues were -- and she showed no interest in wanting to find out the facts. She accused me of lying about placing the food in the warmer. Really? I had the food runner come back twice to deliver the food. He knew I was unhappy. I felt like I was in a horse race, that we were under significant pressures to eat and get out. Then the manager had the audacity to say "every time you come, there seems to be a problem." She placed all the blame on us. So the cold food or mismanaged timing is MY fault?! She told my family to leave the restaurant, that she didn't want us there, and to not come back. We have spent thousands of dollars at PF Chang's over the last decade+. We have eaten in the Annapolis location dozens of times since it opened. How dare she? I do not complain to get free food. PF Chang's is not cheap. All I expect is good service with a smile and hot food. To be clear: Today's waiter was fine. It was NOT his fault. In fact, all I see are new faces at this location. No one stays working here. I wonder why. Well, PF Chang's you have lost one of your best customers due to mismanagement and TERRIBLE customer service. read more

I love pf changs and there food but this service was a little different this time. We ordered our drinks and appetizers at the same time. While still waiting for our drinks the appetizers came out about 5 minutes before. We also did not get the sauce we wanted until 10 minutes after we got our appetizers. Needless to say the service wasn't that great in the beginning. However the experience started to change and the food was great and the service was much better. I recommend there jasmine iced tea and honey shrimp! YUM read more
