I had some crippling back pain during a recent road ride. After some PT and recovery, I wanted to get back on the bike but was losing motivation as I didn't want to ride a bike that was hurting me. I was recommended by many friends and therapists to get a proper bike fit, and not only any bike fit, but to go to Pedor specifically. I initially balked at the cost, but *spoiler alert*, it's been 100% well worth it. He was attentive to my concerns about my back pain and was able to quickly diagnose a few problem areas with my bike set-up. He made adjustments to me cleat position, saddle height, stem height. He also identified how worn out my saddle was (I bought the bike used), which would have lead to added stress in my lower back. After the bike fit, the individual changes were definitely noticeable but the cumulative change made a world of a difference. I went out on a 30 mile ride the next morning and my bike and body felt as fresh as ever. I now know how important a bike fit is and will be going back anytime I get a new frame in the future. I think having the bike properly set up will help prevent injuries down the road, which pays dividends greater than the cost of the fit in my opinion. Thanks again Pedro.

Thanks Pedro!!

I came to Pedro with my nine-year-old Specialized Amira SL4 Expert, feeling both attached and slightly anxious (yet eager) about upgrading--especially after recovering from several surgeries. Pedro made the entire process incredibly smooth and reassuring. He not only fit my old bike so I could ride comfortably while waiting, but when it came to my new bike--a dream F7 Pinarello--he paid meticulous attention to every detail. Pedro measured me with precision, connected me with Anson at Spoke Easy SF for the custom build, and ensured everything was dialed in perfectly once the bike was ready. Pedro is a wealth of knowledge, breaking down the nuances of different riding positions and how they impact your performance and comfort. His expertise ensures every adjustment is tailored specifically to your riding style, making for a truly personalized fit. He really is an expert. Getting back on the road on my dream bike has brought me so much JOY, and knowing it's set up exactly right gives me complete peace of mind. Beyond his technical skills, Pedro is genuinely kind and cares about his clients. His love for what he does shines through, and it's infectious. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend him!

Stop searching. Go to Pedro. Quickly. You spent a lot of money for your bike. Now spend it on your body. I'd grown to accept cycling as enjoyable, but somewhat painful. Since my fitting, my back no longer aches, my hands are not sore, my feet don't kill me, and most importantly, my pedaling efficiency has massively increased. Pedro takes his time. He answers all questions. And on top of that, the dude is a really good person. Highly highly recommended.

I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. This is by far the most important thing you should do after getting your bike, and actually if you are a genius, you should do this before buying your bike. Manufacturers are so silly when they put sizes like 52, 54, 56. These sizes mean nothing and when you look at specific geometry of a bike, unless you are Pedro, you are not going to figure it out. It took a while to see Pedro, he is a busy man and rightfully so. It's because he is a doctor, better yet a surgeon. In the 2 hour appointment, he will magically transform your bike to fit you perfectly. All of my issues were resolved after years of riding and just dealing with them. Knee pains, back/neck pains, sore hands/wrists and even hot spots on my feet. I've set PR's on ALL climbs and descents after seeing Pedro. It's truly magical. Apart from all of that Pedro is a great dude, someone who is very easy and pleasant to deal with and his shop is dope! Thanks so much Dr. Pedro! To everyone out there reading this, quit reading and make your appointment today.

Not only does he cater to world-class cyclists, but Pedro was great at preparing a novice like myself for my first century. No clue what the method behind his madness is but I was as comfy as I imagine anyone could be on the saddle, going from riding 0 miles to 100 miles overnight. Pedro clearly knows what he's doing and is worth every penny. In fact- he should charge even more for his expertise! Lifelong biking fan? TBD. Lifelong Pedro fan? hundo-P.

Pedro has fitted me on 3 of my bikes, most recently my Parlee TTiR on which I won my age group and overall at the 12 Hour World Time Trial Championships in Borrego Springs California with a distance of 253 miles with average speed of 21.4 on November 2nd 2019. Without the proper fit on that bike, that win would not have been possible. Thank you Pedro!! Also, Pedro is just an all around nice guy, we always have some fun conversations when I am at his ship.

Fitting data

Got into road biking 4 years ago and the last 2 years I have really started putting more time into it including getting a 2021 Canyon Ultimate. Read a lot of good reviews regarding P-Fits by Pedro so I made the reservation to be fitted. Every incremental adjustments on the positioning of the seat post and saddle made the pedaling more and more comfortable. Clips on the shoes were also adjusted. Pedro suggested Look pedals instead of MTB pedals for stability and wider bar to match my shoulder width. Something I can save for in the future Very easy experience. Satisfied customer.

I recently went from a Cervelo S5 that I've been riding for 5 years to a Trek Domane SL7. After about 2 weeks on the Trek, I developed some knee pain. I made some minor adjustments, but the knee pain persisted and progressively got worse over the next several months. I went to my knee doc and he said that maybe it's time for knee replacement, which I've been a candidate for since the end of my running days. He also recommended cbd/thc cream, and it worked somewhat, but that was just temporary pain relief. I had previously planned a bike trip to Germany with a group and was considering canceling because of the ongoing pain. My brother recommended driving to S.F. with him to see Pedro. He had been to him before and was pleased with the results. I made an appointment along with my brother, who had just recently purchased a new Tri-Bike. Meeting Pedro and going through the bike fitting process was a great experience. Pedro was very professional and I learned a lot about having the proper form and how to identify potential problems. I'm happy to say that I am pain-free and equally important, I absolutely love the way my new Trek rides. My German bike tour was awesome and most importantly, I no longer have knee pain. Pedro, thank you for the bike fit. I just got back from a bike tour through Germany and I had a great time. We averaged about 60+ miles a day with an overall average of 15,000 feet of climbing and I did not have any knee pain whatsoever. Prior to coming to you, I was certain that my knee pain couldn't be fixed and that I may need to have knee replacement surgery, which I would fight until the end not to have. Thanks to you I no longer have to apply CBD/THC rub or take a handful of Advil's before and after my rides. I'm glad my brother talked me into coming to see you. Since then I have recommended you to many of my cycling friends. I feel like I have a whole new bike and enjoy it that much more. Thanks again. Cheers!!

In the past two years my wife and I have stepped up our training and goals. As of writing this we're 5 days away from our biggest event to date. We've been training for a century for the past 5 months, but not just any century, this one has 8,100 feet of climbing. This will be our 4th century, but the only one with that much climbing. We saw Pedro last week at his San Francisco location. He made several adjustments and suggested new hardware for our bikes. Two days after our fit we were on the training route for our ride and not only did we both set multiple PRs, I crushed a climb that I have never been able to do without stopping, we both felt great after 80 miles and 6,000 feet of elevation gain. The fit is way more comfortable, pain has pretty much subsided, and I feel like as time goes by it'll just get better. Pedro is attentive, caring, though, competent, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him if you plan on riding over 50 miles regularly or training for an event.

Some classes had a strange ambiance and others weren't challenging or varied enough to keep me coming back. The instructor for project pedal had a great, positive attitude and the music was on point. I think this class is really accessible for people new to spin since it wasn't intimidating at all--only a handful of people were in the class when I went. The bikes are in an open area which makes it hard for me to get in the zone. I like places with dark rooms and changing lights. Project pedal is in the middle of body mechanix and it was easy to get distracted by others in the gym or people walking by outside. The studio itself is more like a community gym so not much in the the way of amenities. If you're used to spa products in the bathroom, filtered and chilled water, and complimentary hair ties and cool towels at the end of your workout, you're not going to get that here. They do have towels for the bikes though. I got a good sweat with the ride but it's because I pushed myself. There wasn't a lot of variation beyond tap backs and sprints. The instructor didn't always join us in the sprints and/or the intensity of the workout. The arm portion with light weights was great but there were lots of breaks. Overall, the class was just OK. The location isn't super convenient for me so I probably won't go out of my way to return since I need something a bit more challenging. If you're brand new to spin, you should check it out! Otherwise, I would say better to stick with some of the other established spin studios in the city.

I think I was very bummed with this location for a couple of reasons: 1. You have no idea where you are in terms of half way through the class or anywhere near that. At the Alamo location, they have a projector up on a wall telling you the flow of the class maneuver by maneuver. 2. PARKING SUCKS!!!!!! You literally have to pay for parking here and although that may be normal for Oakland natives, it's not coming from more inland East Bay. I actually didn't come with a card or cash so I had no way to pay which led me to going into a liquor store and getting some coins. The machine then ate my coins! Luckily, I asked someone if I could Venmo them the $1.50 but she was so kind and ended up just paying for me. Although she was a lifesaver, I do feel like that should be posted somewhere in the app to let people know. 3. The front desk person was not at all helpful and I felt like I was bothering her when I asked her what I could do about the parking situation. All and all I don't see myself coming back to this location due to the parking situation and the lack of welcoming presence from the front desk.
