I ended up going on my own, and came back with colleagues the last night of our trip as it's a must stop. As I'm sure we all know, what makes it fun and unique is the dancing Mermaid performances in the pool behind the bar. Such a cool concept to watch them entertain you while you enjoy a good drink. My first time in the bartender was fantastic and giving me all the history of the place, and how the pool used to just be the hotels' actual swimming pool, and guests would swim in it, no Thank you. I ordered the cranberry cherry limeade, not realizing that it was basically a bucket full of booze, equivalent to three drinks (not complaining, just forewarning) also enjoyed chatting with the bartender about how the place is haunted. Definitely gives off that vibe and total dive bar/tiki feel. I'd come back every time I'm in this town or on a road trip. 21+---although they allowed a few families to come in with kids for a minute and get a picture by the mermaids, which I thought was super cool. And yes, you can tip the maids too! I didn't get any food from the restaurant, but I heard from a few it wasn't amazing so I think this is just a dive drinking spot for me.

There was a full menu but due to COVID the vast majority of the menu was unavailable - only salads, pulled pork sandwich, and chicken tenders were available. The tenders were very large and tasty. The fries were fine. They were available for an up charge. Everything was served in a styrofoam containers. It was a fine experience and more than I used to in small airports.

We ordered 3 smash burgers, one Caesar salad and a side of onion rings for my youngest. The burgers had a worse meat to bread ratio than a McDonald hamburger, the onion rings completely burned, we asked for the onion rings to be redone, well that took 45 minutes and they delivered half of what was coming in with the burger. When we finally was ready to go we were billed for 4 burgers instead of 3, since i had already paid it took like an act of congress to reverse the charge and do over. And absolutely travesty of an experience and should close down until they can get the most basic things right.
