Also was told "things like this happen" by a tech when I was grabbing personal belongings from my truck. now I took my truck to a different shop and was offered to get my transmission rebuilt. richmond hill auto didn't even offer to rebuild just told me to pay $8,000 like im going to let them touch my transmission after wrongfully diagnosing my tuck and wasting $1,100. Got into an accident and needed the front end of my vehicle replaced. After two test drives where…read morewe felt that it wasn't driving safely, we told the mech that it was still very loose in the steering. We were told that it was tightened as much as possible. However, it was very apparent that something was wrong, the vehicle was veering all over the road. We got a second opinion from a mechanic off post and the diagnostic concluded that the front end was installed wrong. Parts that were touching should not have been; they should be free. Upon calling and attempting to recover part of our funds for the installation being done improperly, we were met with denial of any wrongdoing before the owner would even look out our evidence. Instead he decided to find our vehicle based off of our home address(misuse of personal information) and phone harass us and our new mechanic. My front end was reinstalled by a different mechanic off post and now it drives as it did prior to the accident. It was their recommendation that I attempt to get a refund from New Beginning. They said that the work done was very rushed and not done correctly. Because of the improper installation, the alignment could not have been done. This shop charged me for a diagnostic (was not done), an alignment (was not done), and to install my front end (done improperly). Refused our diagnosis from the new mechanic before even looking at our vehicle. They still have not provided a refund for the shotty, rushed work that they did. I would not recommend this place at all. They will gaslight you into believing they did good work and not care to fix any of their mistakes. Go off post if you don't want to be stolen from and taken advantage of. I've never met such dishonest and rude people in my life.
