Loved that there were so many vegetarian options! Food was quick and so good. I had the mushroom veggie burger and my husband had the French veggie burger. My only complaint is that we sat for a while after we finished eating because we wanted dessert, but the waitress never came by (after 10 or more minutes we flagged her down). Dessert was delicious, too! And it's all very affordable. Will definitely eat here again if we're in the area. read more

My friend and I stayed our last night on the fall foliage trip in Mountain View, Arkansas. After checking with the front desk we were told for good food look no further than Main Street at Rainbow Cafe. We Entered nostalgic restaurant on Main Street and were greeted warmly by our server and said sit where you would like. Of course we chose a booth. Made me feel young again. The menu was great with lots of old dinner meals. Wonders never cease, out comes one of the staff with home made pies to go in the glass cooler. ( when I go back I'll have a slice) our drink orders were take and we ordered the beer battered onion rings. They came with home made ranch dressing. Very tasty. I ordered a BLT and fries. Bacon was cooked to perfection tomato slices fresh and juicy. The French fries piled high. I was in heaven. Obviously my friend enjoyed her food also she ordered a club sandwich and even talked about it several times on the way home how about that. I will return one day. Oh by the way cash or check no credit cards. Lol what a wonderful place. I wrote a check for my meal. Got to love a small town. read more

They serve the finest Sysco offers. I had the chicken fried steak special and it was less than average. The entire plate was covered in gravy that was bland and unappealing. The size of the menu is evidence of their reliance on their freezer. I would pass on this and try another place in town. read more

Lovely little diner. I had the chicken fried steak with fried okra and fried corn on the cob. Very tender steak with a good breeding. The okra was good and I liked the fried corn on the cob. Price was on point and good service. read more

This is a very nice local cafe, the coffee is bottomless (ask for cream and they will bring you a small can of milk) , the food is great, and the service is quick and competent. I have eaten here numerous times and never gotten anything I didn't thoroughly enjoy. The only reason I gave 4 stars is cash/check only. read more

My family LOVES this place!!! We enjoy getting away for the weekend to Mountain View and when we do...we ALWAYS stop here for breakfast or lunch!!! We have gone here for YEARS and have never had bad food or service. The BEST burgers. We have driven to Mountain View from Heber Springs just for the burgers!!! Daughter and I stopped while on vacation. It was packed at mid-afternoon on Thursday. You could tell lots of locals. Great food, prompt service, very reasonable prices and ample portions. A must stop if you are hungry. Just bring cash, no credit card accepted. I can handle that. read more
