Even though each store has a strengths, I feel like overall Bristol Farms is the better of the two. This is speaking as millennial and maybe Bristol Farms serves a more immature crowd. Hopefully it stays that way. They have everyday products and they have very niche products. Literally something for everyone their bakery is delicious and of course they have their classic big cookies that are served warm. I haven't had anything from the juice/coffee bar yet, but I will next, however the poke bar and the hot bar, never disappoints and that is why I'm writing this review finally. Today I had a flounder piccata mashed potatoes, perfectly roasted vegetables, and pasta Bolognese with huge chunks of beef. Everything was delicious. The flounder even remained crunchy two hours after leaving the store they don't have the variety in the hot bar that Whole Foods has, however, the quality is far superior, and the flavor is in the upper echelon compared to Whole Foods. These are consistent findings within the self-service food area even within the deli carving station. Sometimes they have turkey briskets. I believe I've even purchased prime rib there and the quality and flavor is always on point consistently the presentation of all of their items never fails either also, every time I go to Bristol Farms you're always greeted with a smile. The staff is really nice and in general they look like they're happy to be there which makes the shopping experience that much better.

I inquired about why the self checkout stands are always closed here and the cashier Joanna replied with a snarky attitude about not being able to "watch" the self checkout or something along those lines. For a "premium" grocer, the less than "premium" customer experience is definitely not the case at Bristol Farms.

Inside, it's cozy and charming, with both downstairs and upstairs seating that accommodates everything from casual lunches to more intimate dinners. The food is outstanding. Every pizza is packed with unique flavors, the salads are generously portioned, and even the appetizers are large enough to share--or make a meal out of. The service is consistently excellent, and the staff is always warm and welcoming. I love this part of Yorba Linda, and this spot has quickly become one of my favorites. I'll definitely be back!

Horrible experience and extremely poor customer service…read more On Father's Day, my husband wanted to try this restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst dining experiences we've had. We were seated on the patio and waited for 15 minutes without a single employee approaching our table. Not one server, host, or staff member stopped by to acknowledge us, offer water, or even let us know someone would be with us shortly. We actually timed it from the moment we sat down until the moment we left. What made the situation even more frustrating was that we were seated in the middle of the patio in plain sight. We watched multiple servers and staff members standing around the service station, chatting, sipping drinks, and looking around. Meanwhile, guests who were seated after us had their orders taken, received water, and were even served appetizers before anyone acknowledged our existence. For a restaurant charging premium prices, this level of service is completely unacceptable. On Father's Day of all days, when families are trying to enjoy a special meal together, the lack of attention and basic hospitality was astonishing. After 15 minutes, with my husband and son both hungry and frustrated, I walked up to what appeared to be the manager or owner and informed her that we were leaving because no one had come to our table. Her response was that she "wasn't aware." Frankly, that's not an acceptable answer. If you're managing or owning a restaurant, knowing whether your guests are being taken care of is part of the job. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and internationally, dining at everything from small local establishments to high-end restaurants around the world. Out of the countless places I have visited, this experience easily ranks among my top 20 worst restaurant experiences. Not because the food was bad--we never even had the opportunity to order--but because the complete lack of service and awareness was that shocking. To make matters worse, after leaving, we went to North Italia. Within a few minutes of being seated, a server greeted us, acknowledged the Father's Day rush, offered us bread, and genuinely seemed concerned when we explained what had just happened. That simple act of hospitality immediately changed the tone of our afternoon. That is how a restaurant should be operated. That is what good management, training, and customer service look like. You make guests feel welcome, valued, and taken care of--even on one of the busiest dining days of the year. This restaurant, unfortunately, did the exact opposite. We left disappointed, hungry, and genuinely stunned by how poorly the situation was handled. Will we return? Absolutely not. There are far too many restaurants that appreciate their customers and understand the basics of hospitality for us to ever give this place another chance.

When we first arrived it looked cozy/small dine in space but realized it actually opened up and was very spacious in the back of the restaurant! The atmosphere felt like I was taken back to the piers of Oahu. I appreciate the server asking all of our questions and the staff had great communication with one another and their customers! The decor felt very lively and kept finding myself getting creative with the artwork! 100% did fish theory at home later that night. Okay, now for my review of the food... 10/10!!!! Oysters were so fresh I feel like we could have ordered more than 40 during HH lol! You know its a good HH menu when the place has great apps, ordered a yummy drafted cider, and their personal sauces hit the spot. I think the only thing I would recommend was that the clam chowder was a bit on the thicc side (i personally loved the buttery and creamy taste but my bf wasnt a fan). Definitely will be coming back. Keep up the great work!

I…read morestill remember the old deli that was there prior to this restaurant and I've seen numerous social media ads and posts about the place so I wanted to check it out. I think I was a little hesitant because in my head I was thinking how good could possibly really be? In my head spaghetti/pasta is something I can make it home and almost thought it a waste of money to go out of my way to go out specifically to eat this dish. I ordered the Arrabiata pasta with the sausage. I'll admit I was a little thrown off by added cost of each tolling and also added cost of the Arrabiata sauce and I also did wait until a fair amount before the food was ready for takeout. But the pasta really blew me away. I'm still thinking about how good it tasted. I would definitely come back and I actually wanna bring my dad who loves spicy pasta like this. It was really that good. I can't think of another place that has this level of pasta let alone this price. The only negative I would say in regards to one of the workers. The cashier was manned by wonderful woman who did every and all tasks from taking the orders to putting food items in the oven to answering the phone I'm probably much more than that. I don't know. In contrast there was an Asian man with a black shirt who was also working. He looked lost and completely helpless. There was a moment where this woman was so busy and there was a ringing that I assume was from either a phone call or a delivery order. This man did not offer to help more nor did he help from what I saw. He was utterly helpless and unhelpful. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with the encouragement "Hey help your team out!" The woman on the other hand was doing so many things simultaneously and yet was really kind at the same time. Anyways, I'm giving my review of a five star because I wanna see this place succeed and I'll definitely come back .

First time here, not knowing what to expect. The space is cute and cozy, and the team was super friendly and patient while we figured out what to order. We went with the creamy pesto chicken pasta (penne), the alla vodka with chicken, and a calzone with pepperoni and artichoke. What we should have asked about? Portion sizes. When the food came out, our eyes basically popped out--these plates are HUGE. Not complaining though... we're big leftover people, and this place absolutely delivered. We got multiple meals out of it, and everything held up just as well the next day. Oh--and we got the tiramisu for dessert ;P Definitely the right call. Safe to say, we've already been recommending Sister Sicily to family. Great food, generous portions, and a spot we'll definitely be back to.

Also, this place only has like five tables inside so it's incredibly small. The tables were reserved. A party of nine came in, party of six and a party of four came in and occupied all the tables that were available. I would highly recommend you make a reservation if you are looking to eat indoors. This was our second time there and the previous time it was completely full Insight. Did we get mad, no we sat outside and enjoyed the alfresco dining. Now for the food: * we ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. Frankly, these were like the ones you could buy at the store. It would be awesome if they upped their mozzarella stick game. * the garlic bread came out quickly and was quite delicious. Crispy and flavorful. * we ordered a pizza with sauce and well done. It came out exactly as ordered. It was really good and pro tip: bring some hot honey and drizzle over the top of it and it goes to the next level. They do have regular honey there. This seems to be a family owned place, and in my opinion, it was inexcusable that this gentleman was yelling at the same person who served us and she could only been about 19 years old or so. Four stars because if they made their own mozzarella sticks, they could take on both Dave's hot chicken and Chili's.

You order at a kiosk, take a number, and go sit at a table (indoors or out) where your food will be delivered. The same could be said of the panini which, aside from the prosciutto, included arugula, garlic aioli, tomato, and mozzarella (it usually comes with roasted bell pepper but I asked to leave that ingredient off). The sandwich came with a pedestrian house salad; some greens with four grape tomatoes and a balsamic dressing. There is a huge free parking structure across the street which makes coming here easy. I thought lunch was okay but I wouldn't make it a priority to return.
