THE BEST FARMER'S MARKET VENDOR EVER!
Priscilla C.

My friends and I came across the Parmigiano Reggiano Spread booth while walking through the farmers market in Twentynine Palms and when I tell you this was the best farmers market experience I've ever had in my life, I MEAN IT! It might even say it was the best sampling, food combination experience I've ever had too! The woman manning the table was so heart-felt and genuine, to the point where she was even hand feeding us the samples. The combo of mediterranean and italian flavors blew my mind. We left with so many tubs!! Visiting from West LA, I had driven some way to get to Twentynine Palms, but for this I would make this drive again!! I'd even be willing to go to their Placentia shop :) Thank you for a good time!!

Best dips ever!!! Little pricey but worth it! Not to mention it's from the farmers market and those folks deserve the extra for all the extra work they do to produce these freshly made, one of a kind items. The dips!!!! Are delicious! After being given multiple samples we fell in love with....the Parmesan Cilantro Jalapeño dip, Parmesan Roasted Garlic & Chive dip, and the Three layer dip. I also grabbed some tortilla chips but I don't suggest it as the chips are very greasy and a bit over fried...oh and they're $6 lol. The Roasted garlic had to be my favorite it's creamy and refreshing..cheesy and garlicky. This one replaced my original favorite the 3 layer which is feta, garlic pesto, and roasted tomatoes. It's a chunky dip with ingredients that just work! The jalapeño dip had that jalapeño kick in a creamy parm dip. Really good in moderation. This booth is at the Bixby park (aka cherry park...near buff cliff) on Saturdays. Excited to go back soon.

Very rarely do I ever say something is great. I always think there is room for improvement, but these spreads, dips, and salads are so GOOD! My sister and I were heading home from Yucca Valley/Joshua Tree and just happened to see this farmer's market happening. We stopped and this was the first booth that caught my attention. The gentleman was there to greet us with spoons to try his delicious dips and spreads and salads. I fell in love with the Parmigiano, sundried tomato, and basil spread and he paired it with the beet salad, with black and garbanzo beans. I can't remember what my sister got, but she fell in love with them, too. We've tried to look for them online and I came across the Yelp reviews and want to encourage everyone, if you see them at a Farmer's Market, definitely stopped and pick up at least 4 it is so worth it!

I used to love buying dips and spreads from this company, I was an avid buyer buying four tubs every other Friday at my local farmers market. Today as I was eating it there was a hard metal taste in my mouth and there was a WIRE in my dip! I am so disappointed, disgusted, and appalled. This is SO unsanitary and unsafe I could have choked I am definitely reporting this to the department of health as well as the city running the farmers market so they can be sure not to let this company sell at my farmers market anymore. This is disgusting!

They have a spot set up at the Farmers Market every Wednesday from 8AM-1PM at Independence Park in Fullerton, CA. I work walking distance and go on my lunch break to support our local vendors. The Parmesan Artichoke & Spinach Dip ($7),paired with the Artichoke Salad ($7) are my go to items with a bag of their baked Corn Chips ($6)..... Absolutely delicious! I'd give them 5 stars, but $20 for Chips & Dips seems a tad pricey for lunch. They do offer a 3 for $20 special on spreads, or $7/per spread if purchased individually. This is probably the only time I've ever spent $6 for a 1 Lb. Bag of tortilla chips, making this the reason I treat myself to this vendor only once a month.

The spreads went well with pita.

Are they anywhere in the Inland Empire on Sundays? We are looking for their Gatlic Buffalo spreads and so far have only found them in Rancho Cucamonga on Saturdays.

You just go up, order, pay, they give you a buzzer and you pick up your order when it rings and vibrates. The burger was really for my daughter as my wife and I were going to go to Mitsuwa later to grab a bite to eat at one of the food stalls there. The adults were there to enjoy a nice day out with a couple of brewskies. The single patty MCB that we ordered came with cheese and a bun and a couple packets of ketchup. I had a bite of her burger and thought it was good - just felt it needed seasoning. I was teetering between a 3 and 4-star review and my daughter said she loved it and to give Hangaburs four stars. I told her, "you got it dude!" The ladies here were so nice and friendly and their other menu items looked delicious as other people sitting near us ordered. Definitely will be trying them again! The folks are really friendly and like other pop-ups at breweries, this place has a chill vibe. I ordered the original with everything with just a single patty. The flavors are great and they have a good amount of pickle. The texture for a smash burger is perfect. It's got that nice crunch, but still a great flavor to it. The bun they used was good as well. All now just a really good burger. Look on their Instagram account at Hangaburs to see where they will be popping up. I myself Emma a fan that they are at breweries because their burgers go great with the beers.

From getting a quote, signing the contract, receiving check-ins leading up to the event, and post-event communication, the entire process was seamless, easy, and stress-free. We went with the Maui Package, which included toppings and ice cream for our guests to enjoy during the summer heat. Nate, Masha, and their son arrived right on time and got everything set up quickly. The portions were incredibly generous, with a huge variety of flavors (including some dye-free options) and toppings. The syrups tasted fresh and were not overly artificial like many shaved ice places can be. I chose the strawberry and mango flavors, and Nate topped it off with a drizzle of mango and strawberry sauce, a dollop of haupia cream, and mochi - both of which were homemade! Beyond the amazing desserts, the service was truly what made the experience stand out. Nate, Masha, and their family were so friendly and welcoming. Our guests were absolutely in awe and kept raving about the shaved ice and the wonderful service throughout the party. We were so happy with how everything turned out and would absolutely recommend Aloha Spirit for any event looking for a fun, delicious, and memorable dessert catering option!

After several visits, I started to realize that the food is too greasy. Yes, I am aware this isn't meant to be some Erewhon salad shit with supergreens, kale, and quinoa, but there's a certain point where you're just biting into a grease sponge. It's also very salty. Speaking of salty, the pickled onions are salty too. Everything is so salty and this is coming from someone who loves salty and greasy food. The last time I had a burrito here I had grease running off the foil and down my arm. The prices aren't very good either considering they aren't even an actual restaurant. In short, I only came here as a last resort. The food is beyond greasy and too salty even by my standards. If other options are available I would recommend going elsewhere instead.

I had the opportunity to check this food stand out since they are at the UC Irvine campus all week!…read moreI'm happy to see them here considering how crazy the rain has been. The clerk working the store was very friendly and offered me a sample as soon as I walked up. My concern was whether it would be crunchy-hard, since I've had empanadas in the past that were hard. I'm not a fan of hard foods (looking at you banh mi) - but the clerk noted they were all soft and the sample proved that. I ordered a Mushroom ($4), Chicken ($4) and Beef Steak ($5) - each empanada was perfectly portioned, slightly crunchy/golden brown on the outside, but soft and doughy on the inside, with generous fillings. These taste similar to the chalupas you can get at Taco Bell (just better quality). The mushroom was probably my favorite one - with chunks of mushroom in a nice, cheesy blend. Each bite was perfect - and the melted cheese texture also complimented the meatless option. The quality of the chicken filling wasn't the best - it reminded me of a Hot Pocket - was forgettable as the bits were dry and flavorless. The beef steak option was great - full of chunks of beef steak, onions, tomatoes and some sort of salsa sauce inside. It made each bite full of flavor and delicious. The clerk gave me two containers of the green sauce - which is the perfect compliment to the empanadas - not too spicy, mild but with just enough of a kick to it. Be sure to ask for these instead of jalapenos. The food stand took cash and had a sign that indicated they accept credit cards as well. Prices are reasonable for the quality, portion size and fillings of the food.

After going on-line, I soon learned that "Scarecrow is a OC food truck that is haunting the streets of SoCal Hunting for people that hunger for a old school farm approach to a progressive American menu " - or so Twitter says. Just as I read that they tweeted they had Alabama horseradish chicken melts. Count me in !! I got my food truck money and eagerly ran down there with my official food truck food carrying bag (a cloth Trader Joe's shopping bag). I had to mention that since I took pictures, and the bag mussed up my food a bit :-( I ordered the aforementioned horseradish chicken melt, fried chicken bites over biscuits and red eye gravy and an H&J B (hazelnut and berry preserves on banana toast). The melt was fan-dam-tastic; I could eat another one. It was seasoned perfectly and was served with a pickle. The horseradish was mild and added another layer of flavor. The chicken tenders we great. Not greasy at all and the biscuits were very flaky (a good thing for a biscuit - not a person). The H&JB was the perfect ending. Not too sweet, and totally yummy. I can't wait to try their Belgium beef stew and "Dead Head" next. If you see them, grab a bite. It is totally American comfort food that tastes good, and is good for the soul.
