We had the Grilled Sole special and the Mussels El Golfo. Perfectly cooked great tasting cuisine.... The next day we returned and started with a shell fish soup. It was more stew like than soup and more fish,squid and prawns than shell fish but it was perfect and so tasty I ended up licking the bowl clean ! She had some tomatoe soup which was divine but not in the same class of my shellfish. For mains I had a grilled fish platter. I couldn't tell you exactly what was there but I can say there were five or six types on my plate and it was all very very nice. The trump card for this establishment is their pricing. We spent less than 15 quid for two courses with wine. Which for food of this quality is a bargain !

There was a large group of us with varying orders which were all served to perfection, apart from the canarian potatoes which were cold but were replaced promptly upon complaint. As a very nice gesture which doesn't happen in many restaurants, we were all offered a free drink of our choice on the house before we left. This restaurant doesn't appear to have its own toilets so we had to use public toilets right next door... I didn't like that, however, they were spotlessly clean!

My mom and I ordered a mixed salad and a paella, knowing it would take ~25 min to cook but extremely content with our seats. Everything about this place is awesome, the fresh ingredients, the savory mojos and the friendly waitstaff! I honestly could not stop eating the bread because the mojo sauces that came with them were to die for. My mom made me stop eating so I could rally and finish the paella. Of course all the portions were huge so we couldn't finish them, although we really wanted to keep eating even after we were stuffed. The mixed salad was so fresh and had all sorts of vegetables in it. It seems traditional to put tuna and hard boiled eggs in the "mixed salads" in the canaries, but I love both those ingredients so it's a plus for me. The paella came after we were literally full from the salad, but we obviously had to keep eating. It was so picture worthy and beautiful, with great flavors as well. They don't skimp out on the seafood portion! The restaurant is so affordable and probably the best experience I had dining in the Canaries. If only the islands were closer to the US!

But if that IS your thing, pull yourself up a chair on the terrace, and sit back and take it all in. The food is also excellent. I had fresh fish fillet which was so fresh it practically melted in my mouth, with a massive salad, and plate of small gorgeous little potatoes with a side of various sauces. The staff were lovely too - warm, welcoming, professional & on the ball. Highly recommended.
