Fresh, tasty, clean, and fast. Best in town, better than Trinos. Had the Torta, my son had the burrito. He lives here says he'll be back.

We went…read moreback to peachfest again this year and to be completely honest, although the bands that were scheduled to play were good, they weren't in our genre of our "must see's". I'm not sure I would've went this year if it weren't for the idea that Law of Attraction food truck being there. And they didn't disappoint. Their blackened chicken & goat cheese sandwich with the candied jalapeños, pickles (gherkins I believe) and arugula is second to none. My only regret about their sandwich is that I didn't have room for a second one because of their generous portion of both sandwich and crispy delicious fries. I can't say enough about them. It may have been even better than the first time I had it. Like I said, consistent and consistently delicious. Well worth the 80km drive to get to them. Highly, highly recommended! Not sure what I can't check the "service" box at the top of this review but to be clear, the food and the service was top notch. Try as I might, I don't have a single critique including price! Prices were comparable to your local fast food joint but the food was 5 star artisan quality. Until we meet again folks. Keep up the incredible work! Dan

Excellent find on our way out of Winthrop. Most of Twisp Works was closed (weekday right around…read morenoon), but Lal's Fork food truck serving Sri Lankan street food was just getting started in their parking lot. Smelled good. Menu looked good. Great impromptu lunch! They offer curry & basmati rice plates, and you can choose whether you want 1, 2, 3, or 4 curries. We shared a 3 curry plate and selected mushroom, dahl, and mango (they had a selection of meaty curries as well). Food came out promptly, and we enjoyed it at one of several picnic tables under a large tree canopy which offered protection from the rain this day, but would be equally good for providing shade on a sunnier occasion. Each curry was so flavorful, it was hard to choose a favorite. Even between the two of us we probably consumed a little more than half and took the rest with us. It was just as delicious later on. And the hot sauce accompanying it was really spicy and tasty, too. Lots of teens showed up as we were finishing our meal, so this must be a popular high school lunch spot as well. Lal's Fork was such a happy and unexpected discovery!

I wasn't expecting to encounter a Sri Lankan food truck in Twisp, but what do you know? There it…read morewas, parked on-site at Twisp Works (also worth checking out). If you aren't familiar with the cuisine, Sri Lanka is a South Asian island country in the Indian Ocean that is a neighbor to India. While it is not part of India, I would describe the food as having many similarities, while being its own distinct cuisine. For example, we had vegetarian samosa at Fork, and while many of the elements were similar, the taste was different (spices, some ingredients). The curries were also distinctive, including a fruit curry (mango). The most unique dish appears to be a classic Sri Lankan item called kottu roti, which was chopped roti bread mixed and stir fried with vegetables and meat (or just veggies). This was my personal favorite, though the spouse was pretty into the samosas and the mango curry, despite "not liking mango." It was super hot that day, but luckily the picnic tables have tree cover for eating. Judging by the weekday crowd of workers on lunch, Fork seems like a hit with the locals, and it's easy to see why. This would be food hard to come by in some U.S. cities let alone a pretty rural area of the Pacific NW. Check it out if you are visiting or live nearby!

One of the best Mexican Restaurants I've ever been to and I've been to over 100!…read moreRoad trip from Bellevue to Oroville and after our truck broke down six times still doing overheated transmission luckily we rolled into the Lovely Camaray motel across the street from this huge artistic beautiful restaurant. Our waiter was the wonderful Salvador who brought us delicious ice water super thin and crispy and hot fresh tortilla chips and their signature salsa within 60 seconds of us sitting down! The fantastic margaritas were delivered two minutes later. He suggested the three color enchiladas as I told him I like enchiladas which meant they came with red green and white like the Mexican flag two were ground beef and one was shredded beef and they were a 10 out of 10! The frijoles are homemade and the Mexican rice was excellent as well especially with all the sauces the pico de gallo which was also delivered with the salsa and the sour cream that was mounded in the middle of the plate as you'll see in the photos. My wife ordered her favorite which is a rose come Pollo served on another giant sizzling hot ceramic plate. The building itself obviously has some history judging from the old brick which you can see in places among all the hand carved and hand-painted chairs and tables it's like walking into a museum really looking at all the artwork it's just gorgeous. Oroville by the way is a beautiful part of Washington state and only five minutes from the Canadian border so this is worth a trip from the Bellevue area (270 miles overnight in Lake Chelan) if you want to see part of the state you probably never seen before that's just beautiful geologically. This little town of Oroville is cute historic and has super friendly people. We will come back to this fantastic Mexican restaurant again it was a wonderful way to celebrate Mother's Day. Salvador made a challenging day of breaking down along the road six times the air conditioning going out which was an addition to the caliper sticking two days ago which had to be replaced along with new rotors and brake pads. I'm sure there are other great restaurants in this town but we are definitely coming back to Rancho grande! Gracias Salvador! Jeff and Nancy

Regardless, it was still hard to find an employee. However, you could hear them goofing around and laughing in the back. I think I ate here before and was more pleased. Not sure what happened. Place has a lot of flare and decorations, but it wasn't busy and felt weird.
