I have had four procedures and my wife has had one and been admitted for precaution. I dont know if they do personality tests, but everyone we interact with is always so friendly and has a empathetic approach. We have been to Baptist and Sacred Heart and SRMC is soo much better. They are a bit of an older facility, but bedside manner means everything!

We went to Pensacola shortly after he left and arrived to the ER waiting area and and only had to wait a few minutes in the waiting area. One of the girls at the desk told us she'd let us know when he was checked in. We didn't have to wait long she didn't have to be asked again she let us know we could go follow one of her fellow employees. We had to walk a bit before we got to the area where they brought my Dad. I was impressed the ER Dr was already talking to my Dad and They had alreaïdy had a iv port in and drew blood The Dr was very nice. He explained he would get X-rays and a CT ordered right away. The one young nurse was so nice to my Dad after she left he even said she was wonderful to him. (I love when they are this way you can tell they enjoy their job!) There is like 4-5 hospitals in the Pensacola area I didn't know what hospital he should go to but my brother's wife use to be a nurse there so it helped a lot to just have him to go there. They took all the tests as we waited to see what the out come would be. It was after 2am when the Dr said my Dad would be admitted and have more tests. So we decided to leave and let my Dad rest he was very tired and it would be awhile before they would get him a room and moved. Everyone we dealt with was very professional. (The way they should be!) As the medication from the procedure faded the pain became unbearable. The nurse told me I'm sorry your doctor hasn't approved anything for you and in general he doesn't believe in narcotic pain medications, I can bring you a Tylenol. She brought me one 500mg Tylenol. I laid there all night in agony, couniting away minutes. When I finally saw my doctor, I took issue with this, turns out my doctor had approved all kinds of pain medications and according to my itemized bill, I had received them and was charged for them. So where did they go??

The issue I have is that they refuse to authorize my pharmacy to a refill of a prescription for a low dose statin that their Dr. prescribed (for a one year term refilled every 90 days) without seeing me and getting new labs - In other words, they want me to pay for an appointment and new labs that my insurance will only cover once per year....because their employee left. But they have the labs, which is what providers use to determine whether the prescription is warranted. Statins are literally the most prescribed medication in the US and they have all the evidence to validate a simple refill but are trying to force me to pay a significant out of pocket expense to get it.

Thankfully it only ended up being just a bad case of soar throat. The staff was very pleasant and the doctor was very knowledgeable. The nurse was very attentive and kind and if it was the fact I was in so much pain I would have remembered their names to write in this review. Props to the emergency room next door as well. The GPS led us there first and they new exactly where to point us to get to the urgent care. (They call it priority care FYI) Overall a great visit and would recommend if you have something urgent you need looked at. Especially if your doctors appointment is going to be a few days away or longer. They will take care of you and be honest with you. Kudos again for helping us find the cheapest pharmacy to get the antibiotics we needed. 11/10 would get sick again.

What a day! The radiology department refused to do my mri of my wrist. They were absolutely rude about it. I was given the paperwork from rheumatology at 2:00. They wanted to call me and make an appointment at at later time bc they were "booked." There was only one person in the waiting room. I was there from 10:30-3:00 for appointments and asked to please get my MRI today so I didn't have to drive back. Rhematology told me to go down there (I was told they could do walk ins), but they refused me when they didn't have to.... There was no one in the office. They just didn't want to take a patient. They figure they make the same hourly wage regardless how they treat people and regardless if they help people. This MCC made prob 5k on my from my insurance today, but they couldn't help me. The lady up front was incredibly rude about it. An older lady, heavy set, with grey long hair and a stormy disposition. When I asked to speak to her manager, she said she was in charge herself. She would email Kaitlyn maze. What a way to treat your patients. Not a place I'll be getting any MRIs done at. My insurance money can go elsewhere. Called and let them know how their employees were treating their patients.

The quality of care that I received today was exceptional in comparison to my last visit.
