I met with Fred; he was professional, polite, and very knowledgeable. Fred assured me that I would be more than satisfied with the results. As I typically do, I checked with the competition. Finn Auto Body consistently beat their competitor's prices, but not to the point that they would need to compromise quality. One body shop quoted $1,500 more and that didn't include the front bumper. We called our mechanic and a relative who does a lot of work with engines, etc and both suggested Porcelli's. My son rode in the tow truck and waited for his mother to arrive. The owner, Richard was waiting for him and took care of an emotional and scared kid like he was his own until she arrived. They talked and went over what was going to happen next and he made everyone feel much better about an awful situation for all of us. Richard handled every step of the process with the insurance people, always communicating clearly with us and making us feel as though we had someone knowledgeable and honest who cares about us on our side. In the end it was a total loss, which was a terrible outcome. But Richard took the time to go over what we should expect from the settlement and it worked out very fairly with our insurance company (Progressive, who were also great). I can not recommend Porcelli's more highly. The personal attention, care and knowledge we received made something scary, frustrating and awful much better than it could have been.
