This was my first time at Curreri Collision with my Tesla Model 3 . I am so excited to know that this place exist, because that will be MY Place to go to as long as they exist! Curreri has been fantastic, I would never go to anyone else. They were actually recommended to me by a Tesla employee. I've used them twice, once for an out-of-pocket repair and once through insurance. They did amazing work both times. They really took the time to understand the details of my situation and work with me. The out-of-pocket one was 40% less than other estimates I got. The insured one was going to be a total loss with a low-ball settlement from my insurance company - Curreri really worked with me and the appraiser to fix errors in the appraisal and helped me get the total decision reversed. I've read the 1-star reviews here, and they mostly come down to how long something took, or communications complaints - These folks are very busy b/c they do such a good job that they are in high demand. They may have missed a phone call or email here or there, but it's just not that hard to call back the next day and that only happened a few times. read more

My tesla model Y had some damage in the shocks and suspension. It took a couple weeks for progressive to get a quote and took a couple more weeks for tesla to ship the materials. The last part came in on the 6th and I got my car on the 8th. I live an hour away and asked the manager how much to tow it back to me. He did the math out and hooked me up with free towing. To make it an even better experience, he only charged me half of what I was supposed to pay. The car came back mint. They detailed it before the finished. Back on March 31, 2016, I put down my deposit on a car I hadn't even seen...a Tesla Model 3. Exactly 911 days later, with great anticipation, I took delivery of my car. It was great in every way, but upon closer inspection, I noticed quite a few minor issues. Those included some scratches that pierced thru the clearcoat and paint on a fender, a decent paint gouge on the rocker panel, and 2 small dents on the panel to the right of where the rear license plate would mount. Tesla would completely take care of all these issues for me, but mentioned that I would have to bring it to a Tesla-approved body shop. And the only one in the area was Curreri Collision. As you know, because of their unique nature (EV) and build (mostly, if not all aluminum bodied), there are very few shops that work on Teslas. I was expecting the typical car repair shop attention (which in my previous experiences with other shops meant that I wouldn't be getting their full attention). Boy what a difference and a shock once I got there. After speaking with Richard on the phone, we set up a time and I drove down. He immediately greeted me and thanked me for providing my business to him. I had Richard's complete attention and never did his focus sway from me describing in great detail all of the problems with my car. I noted the original concerns, but then Richard decided to ask the owner, Lenny, to take a better look at my car. Now WHEN does the actual owner of the car take a good 1/2 hour out of his busy day to take a look and inspect a customer's car???? Amazing. What Lenny noticed were even more defects in the paint and trim. Things like bad paint correction done at the factory, to tiny sand grains in the paint, to other areas with paint problems that I didn't even notice, even with my OCD inspection of my car. Certain areas like the deep scratches would likely have to have the panel be painted, but also the adjacent panels so the color would blend in. They would take care of all of the issues. To hear that my first ever brand new, barely 1000 mile car that I got less than 2 months ago, would have to have nearly 1/3 of it painted was very disheartening. Here I was, waiting nearly 2 1/2 years for this car, and now it would need to have all this work done on it. Who would want that on a brand new car? Lenny put my concerns to rest and made me feel so at ease, personally saying "We'll make your car look the way you expected it and the way it should have came from the factory. It'll look better than new." While the paint repairs and corrections weren't major, it did take about a month to complete all of the work. I initially thought "wow...that was a really long time." But you know what...this is a GREAT thing. The team at Curreri take their time with your car and don't just do a quick repair job. They take the time to make sure it is perfect. And seeing the work that they did made it all worthwhile. I can not believe how perfect it came out. Never have I expected such phenomenal treatment. Impatient as I was initially, I was calling Richard at least 2x a week, trying to find out the status. Richard would pick up his phone barely on the first ring !!! How can this even be possible? I basically had him on speedial, and every time I called him, he always dedicated as much time as I needed to answer any questions I had. Never once was I ever rushed. Upon picking up my car, Richard went over everything that they did, and wanted confirmation that it met my expectations. Let's just say they exceeded my expectations. And just when I thought I was leaving to go home, Lenny ran out from his office and personally thanked me for allowing them to repair my car. We shook hands, and he was sincerely appreciative of allowing them to work on my car. Sure, my new Model 3 wasn't cheap (about $64K), but I felt like I was their only priority. Treated like royalty doesn't even come close to how well they treated me and my car. From someone who's exceptionally particular with my cars, Curreri Collision gets my highest recommendation. read more

Rich was most accommodating when scheduling the appointment as I would have to wait for the car. When I arrived, they took the car in right away. When the car was ready, the guys in the shop brought me in to explain what they had done, how the hitch works etc. Very well informed guys and most helpful. I drove an hour and a half to look at a vehicle to purchase only to find out someone was already there to purchase it. I spoke with the young lady who showed me messages between the person selling it and she clearly says she is coming to purchase it. Instead of informing me that there was a high probability that the person was going to purchase the vehicle and to hold off on driving all that way they still had me go as a "backup buyer". All in all it is a bad business practice and is shady and unacceptable. When I expressed my concern with a worker about the poor customer reaction at their business, he stated " oh, it has nothing to do with the business, it's a private sale". Well, then the proper place to meet would be at the owners property not at the business. As a customer I was sent to your business and that is where I have the poor experience. Worst of all the person I was messaging back and forth with was not even there! Long story short it was a terrible experience. Brought my pickup here for replacement of bed panel, seems easy enough. I needed a courtesy car, they said they would give me a similar truck. I dropped my truck off and all they had was a sub compact car that day. They said I'd have a truck in a couple days. I called it never happened. Long story short : 6 weeks to get my truck back Drivers door mounding was cracked Drivers door panel was dented Paint didn't match Didn't paint gas cap cover to match panel Staff was unprofessional Staff didn't return calls Staff was more worried about condition of POS loaner car than the repair of my truck. I should've known to stay away from this place based on the negative hearsay that surrounds this business. However, despite numerous forewarnings I gave it a shot and now I'm obviously regretting it tenfold. First and foremost, my accident repairs were completely satisfied through my insurance company and I was provided a loaner vehicle through the business (which later broke down in traffic). I recently responded to the business to reclaim my car, but was forced to deal with strong-arm tactics from the greaseball owner. He claimed that I was liable for loaner car that broke down and now was mysteriously bearing new damage. I was eventually forced to contact the police who convinced him that he didn't have the authority to hold my car for ransom in lieu of financial compensation for the loaner car. After speaking to the owner at length, the police were able to convince him that the matter was civil and they would draft a report on it. I pity any future customer of the business and hopefully they aren't met with similar hardships. In conclusion, the owner is unscrupulous and unfit to run a business and his tactics are completely unethical. Do yourself a favor and steer clear!!!! read more

I used Curreri Collision on three separate occasions, and each and every time the work has been outstanding. Their completed work makes the vehicle look like it just rolled out of the factory. They also always detail the car (inside and out) before pickup and again, looks like brand new. I really think they should open a detailing shop on the side, because I'm really picky. The interior looks perfect/like new and spotless. I don't know what they use but it isn't the shiny Armour-All protectant (thank God). The shop is also very easy to work with and great guys (Lenny and Richard). Yameliz handles all the paperwork and is also excellent/helpful. They obviously have a great crew judging from the quality of the work. I highly recommend this shop and am glad I found them..... read more

I brought my Tesla in for the repair of some dents in my door and a nasty door ding. I had previously been quoted over $8,000 by a body shop in Ashland MA and was in shock. Curreri not only took my car in immediately, not only did perfect repairs, but charged me over $5K LESS for the work. They even re-painted my hood because they saw some damage even I had not noticed. The car looks brand new. The people that run the shop are genuine and nice. I wasn't in a rush to get my car back (they seem very busy) but it was done pretty much on schedule. This place ROCKS. I have had 2 cars serviced at this location and both cars were fixed perfectly. I received both cars back detailed, and they even inspected my ladies car! Richard Ferry, thank you sir. The receptionist was friendly, courteous, and everything a receptionist should be. I literally handed them the keys, grabbed a rental, picked up the cars when they were done. The cost to me was ZERO. I like that I did not have to worry about anything. They saved me money because they know the ropes of the game. My insurance was going to have me pay a huge deductible and Curreri schooled me on that. They dealt with the other insurance companies and just did such a fantastic job. Only complaint is that Yankee hat Richard was wearing when I picked up the car. Maybe I should sent over one of those nice fitted Boston Red Sox hats for him. This is New England! Thanks to everyone behind the scenes as well. If i could give this establishment zero stars I would. I had a tree branch fall on my brand new Ford Fusion in the beginning of August. I called my insurance company (Progressive) they told me to drive to Johnston to their office to have my car apraised, where I accidentally ended up was Curreri Collision center, my husband and I thought we where at the right place since the Progressive sign was right below it and it made sense to us since it was a collision center. I walked into the office a man named John came up to me I told him that I made an appointment with Progressive and why I was there, he told me their appraiser was busy, that he would take look at my car and that he would put me into a loaner car and they will call me later. I felt that they told me what I wanted to hear and rushed me out before I could even realize I was confused. Next day, to my surprise Progressive called me saying that I never showed up to my appointment & I was a bit confused because thats where I thought I had left my car! Appearently Progressive was couple buldings down the road and instead of John telling me I was at the wrong location for my appointment seized the opportunity to help himself to my business. Progressive then said to just leave my car there and we will have someone go there and appraise it, alright I said, I then got an E-mail from Progressive saying they gave a check to Curreri , I was upset because I wasnt even sure thats where I wanted to have my car fixed, Progressive told me the paper John had me sign for my loaner car was actually to have a direct payment to them ... I felt uneasy leaving my car with these people in the first place, they did not earn my business they scammed me into it. I then called John and he told me he was sorry and everything would be fine and my car would be done in a month, at this point there wasnt much i could do, my car was there and they were getting paid so my hands seemed tied. A month went by and my car still wasnt done I was at the point I was getting upset from feeling lied to and pushed around from day one. A gentlemen named mike called and said I know you want your car im sorry can you give me 2 more days for your car i said fine the day came I picked up my car. When i got home i went over the car there was things wrong With it there were paint drippings.... spots missing clear coats..... greese on the seats.... tape residue under the clear coat. Needles to say i do not want to bring my car back to this place to have them fix it. They are not willing to help out in any other way what i would like is a check to go else where to have my car fixed. If your thinking of going here be careful who you work with. My car was only 4 monthes old when i brought it there now it has all these isuuse im so upset that a well known business would not do anything to make a customer happy read more

John and the crew at Curreri did an incredible job fixing my car. They were thorough in uncovering any of the hidden problems that the insurance company wouldn't have found in visual inspection. They were advocates on my part in dealing with the insurance company and when my rental ran out, they put me in a good car of their own at no cost so I could continue to drive my kids to their activities. Of course, when I picked it up, they had done such an incredible job cleaning the interior that my kids actually thought for a moment it was a different car. So now that's the ongoing joke with them. This has to be the worst body shop I have ever used! I dropped my car off in November after a minor accident, where I drove over a object in the road, that had damaged some under carriage components, and damaged my front bumper. I told the owner he could take his time, and I would like to have the car done by march 20th. I stressed to him parts were difficult to get for my car, and he should asses the damages and order parts asap so that they would have no issues with parts, and this way they could take their time and do the job right. I stressed to the owner that the car being flawless was of the up most importance, seeing as the car has a lot of sentimental value. The owner also agreed to set my windows and make them work again seamlessly, to which he agreed. Everything seemed good an I felt that my baby was in good hands, seeing as how attentive the owner was, and based on a referral of a very good friend. Then everything took a turn for the worse!! They left my car outside unmoved all winter, that flat spotted all my tires, destroyed my brake pads and rotors(850.00) , and killed a optima battery (250.00). They did nothing to compensate for destroying said parts, also they left my keys in the car, with the doors unlocked, I mean seriously?!? They did not check the car out until late march, past our agreed pick up/ due date, which has cause the promise date to be pushed back multiple times, because we had to wait for parts, not to mention parts that weren't replaced because they just simply were not ordered. I called numerous times, and spoke to multiple people at the body shop, I could never get a straight answer and they just gave me the run around. Fast forward to the day I was told it was ready to pick up. When I pulled up I went over with pat to check out the finished product, even after all the bs I was excited because supposedly these people do flawless work, WRONG! So we walk up to my car and the first thing I notice is the paint CHIP on my FRESHLY PAINTED BUMPER!! I mean common man seriously? I looked around some more, and they also chipped the paint on my door handle on the passenger's side door. They "lost" my windshield washer sprayers, both windows that were supposed to repaired, were working WORSE off than when I dropped off, so bad that when putting them down they would trip the door handles and cause the doors to open up on their own. The trunk was missing 4 bolts and the weather stripping was jammed up and improperly installed, they destroyed my rear window it's all chipped, the under carriage repairs were not completed and the car makes horrible noises from the rear end. When I brought these concerns up to Pat, he told me they weren't a restoration shop but a collision center, I mean seriously you painted and repaired under carriage that's far from a restoration!! His remedy for the issues, were let's get some touch up paint to paint over the large chip on the bumper, and door handle, they told me they would order the spray nozzles and I could install them myself, and I asked if the windows were fixed he said yes 3 times, and just before I pulled off the lot I check their operation, and they were broken even worse, the weather stripping on the trunk they did nothing, still looks like utter crap. The quality of the work is deplorable, the fact they called to tell me the car was done and had all these problems is a huge let down, and makes me really question the quality of the mechanical repairs also, the fact that the car has missing bolts on body panels, I can only imagine what else is missing and installed improperly. I will most definitely be bringing the car to a independent repair facility to check out the safety of the car. All and all I recommend that NO ONE use Curreri Collision in Johnston, they have no pride in their work, have terrible communication. They have made zero attempts to rectify what they did wrong. Terrible, this has been the worst experience in customer service I have ever encountered. Deplorable. To make matters worse the promised to replace my rear window and now have not returned my calls. If i could put negative stars i would. Worse experience of my life, from start to finish. Would not recommend to nobody. I have a 2016 Camry i had small scratched onthe back of my bumber that needed a small buffing and coat of paint. It started with the rental the gave my a 2009 Corolla (i am a mother of 2 with car seats) the vehicle was not only extremely tinny but was a piece of sh** it's squicked and mad a bunch of noises, i did not feel safe driving it with my children. So i went back the next day they gave me something bigger (2011 Camry) this one was bigger and ran a little better but i could not look past the cigarette burn whole all over the driver seat and the black duck tape on the steering wheel(which was grey). I could not wait to be back in my car. I was told it would be done by Monday, i had not hear from them all Monday ... so i called Monday evening 10 mins before the called said it would be done tomorrow once again i had gone all day with ou a call about it being done so i called again this time 430 and was told if i come before 5 i can pick it up. I went and when i got my car they fixed the scratch on the bumber but there were even more scratches on the top of my trunk!!!! I am furious read more

This "business" is the worst as far as their customer service expertise. The woman who answers the phone is just plain rude. If you want to talk to your mechanic, it's near impossible if not totally out of the question. She fields all calls and answers them herself without consult with the mechanics and her demeanor is less than to be desired. Their speed of attending to your vehicle is completely non existent. I have had 2 experiences with this business. One major, one minor and they just string you along with every excuse under the sun from waiting for parts to insurance checks to a rain day all the while keeping your vehicle sitting in one spot for weeks and weeks and weeks on end while you stew and become more and more frustrated. If you have the option of a rental, they are pretty bad. If you ask for a loner, you're on your own. They never give them out unless the damage is so great, they will end up eating that loner within the deductible. I had my car there for 7 weeks for minor repairs, was promised a loaner from day one and never received it. I got the car back and it's still not right mechanically although their body work was passable. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone although I'm sure my situation was a rarity since they are soooooo busy all the time your car is there forever! TERRIBLE experiences! read more
