Acupuncture for injury is the way to go, but Dr Wang is the best choice for people to see to administer it.

You get asked a few questions about your energy and what you want to focus on and then for acupuncture, they'll check your energy levels. After inserting the needles in, they leave you to it. No music or meditation or chants. Just you, and the car horns outside. I think that's where I'm a little disappointed. Other places I've been either give you one of the two and check in on you. I was just sorta left for I'm assuming was 30 minutes? There's no clocks so I lost track of time. Next few times I came, I was prepared to do some meditation on my own and really focus on my thoughts, breathing and healing. I have pretty decent insurance and so it only came out to about 20 bucks per session and at that price, it goes from a 3 star review to a 4 star. But without that, I could easily rate this a 3 star place. I'll be coming back for sure though. Every where else seems to have a wait list or they aren't as nice. Everyone is super nice. You wont find anyone not happy to be there.

The family here is so sweet and you can tell they have an established relationship with their long term-customers. Inside, it is a very small shop, but don't let the size fool you, there's plenty different types of herbal medicine, spices, and Asian oils/balms to get. They sell little simple Asian snacks as well that you don't normally see often at the markets. This place would be gold if my grandma found out about it! Every year my grandma loves to gift Tiger balms/patches to our relatives and this place sells plenty of that all. There are different teas you could try out along with herbs and spices you can buy to make delicate Asian soups and desserts. A must stop by if you're into herbal/asian/holistic care. Customer service was great, very friendly people! I really enjoyed making a visit here and will come back for when I need more Tiger balm / lotions, etc.

I called in to make a same day appointment for acupuncture (called around 10:45a on a Sunday for a…read more12p visit). I thought I would try it out since I have nothing to lose. I have accumulated neck, shoulder, and back pain with tendinitis over the years doing computer work along with having post partum anxiety and depression and have been taking western medicine for a couple of years now. Looking into eastern medicine seemed like a good alternative since looking at all the cons with western medicine was becoming too stressful in itself to be concerned about. When I walked in, I went to a gentleman that was by the medicine counter, thinking it was Dr. Wang. I later found out David was the pharmacist, if you will, of the store. He checked the pressure on both my wrists and gave me a diagnosis while I told him what was wrong with me. He told me my kidneys and liver were in poor condition, and he also asked to look at my tongue. He prescribed me 2 different pills to help with my organs in order to calm them down. David also looked at my eyes and said due to my kidneys being in a poor state, I had dark circles and it showed that I didn't get enough rest. Since he was separate from Dr. Wang's office, I paid him for the medicine first before getting a consultation with Dr. David spoke to Dr. Wang first, and then he introduced me to him. I told him I have PPO, and he had me fill out a form. He asked me what my ailments were, and had me circle areas on a diagram to locate where they were. He said that it was $20 for consultation, $60 for acupuncture, and an additional $20 for an Asian massage therapy. We went to the room and I was advised to be in my undergarments. I laid on my stomach, and we started with acupuncture; I was surprised there weren't many needles used. I believe there were only 2 needles on each forearm, 2 on my neck, and 2 on my back. I was told to rest for about 10-15 minutes. Quite honestly, I didn't feel anything change during or after. It didn't even feel like anything when the needles were inserted as well. After Dr. Wang took the needles out, we moved on to the massage. He advised that the pressure was going to be strong as it was "therapy" and not to be confused with feeling good; I told him I was all for it. He was NOT kidding. He located the knots that I had so many years of struggling with, and man, did he go to work. He had to take a break, and David helped out with my neck. He was NOT messing around either. David did some wizardry work with my neck and shoulders and I almost thought I was going to pass out from the pressure, so I had to keep reminding myself to breathe. Long story short, I feel rejuvenated AF. I will be a forever client so long as they will have me. Thank you, Dr. Wang and David, for your healing powers and sincere concern for your patients. I will be back in a month for the next appointment!
