I've been seeing Dr. Brad over 15 years. He does a great job alleviating the tenderness and swelling in my joints after rigorous exercise.

I am visiting from the Discovery Princess Cruise and we just arrived in San Diego. I pinched a nerve on the cruise and I could barely walk! I looked on Yelp for a Chiropractor that was close to where I would be visiting in San Diego and I found Dr. Brad. He is in Old Town San Diego. I walked in his office like Igor and I walked out normal. He said I pinched a nerve. My right leg was shorter than my left leg. He said, I must have sat incorrectly. He worked on my spine, he did deep tissue massage on my right hip, he did some stretching on my right leg and adjusted my neck. My neck was horrible. It cracked from the top of my head to my shoulders. He showed me a couple of stretches to do to relieve my pain. When he finished with me. I could walk without feeling there was a knife stabbing me in my hip. I started walking normal without pain. I couldn't believe it! When I come back to San Diego I am going to see him. He is Amazing! Brad is the best Chiropractor that I know. He took care of my pinched nerve that was running down my left arm. My left hand was starting to get numb too. It was coming from the pinched nerve from my neck and shoulders, I have been to three different chiropractors,. And couldn't make the pain go away. It was a waste of my Time and money. I could barely walk, I somehow pulled something in my back and was in an incredible amount of pain. DR. Brad saw me with very short notice and was very careful and gentle while adjusting me. My first time to any chiropractor. I had been dealing with some very severe sciatica pain for about 2 weeks. My MD prescribed my some 550mg naprosyn, and said rest and add heat. Well it was week 3, and that was all I could take. Even with the pills and heat, I could not sleep well. A friend recommended Dr. Brad Thompson down in Old Town. I called him the day after Thanksgiving, and he said he was closed until Monday. I said I am in so much pain, and needed some relief right away. He came down to his office on his day off, gave me x-rays and then adjusted my spine, and hips. What a relief! I felt better each day since then, and today I am pretty much back to normal. Saw Dr. Brad today, have been suffering from a pinch nerve for 3 weeks. Had seen another chiropractor previously which only made my situation worse and didn't take the time to properly warm up the area for adjustment. I have seen the my regular doctor several times and was only given muscle relaxers and pain killers which didn't help. General doctors seem to only want give you pills and tell you it will heal by itself which i have always found to not be true. Dr Brad took me in right away, and took the time to assess my issue, made sure i was comfortable, actually applied heat packs and massaged the areas of my neck and back prior to adjusting and than put me on this roller table which was awesome for loosening up my back for further adjustments. I pulled my knee playing soccer with my son... my sister said go see Dr. Brad... ok.. wow what I found was not expected! He not only fixed my knee I found that his wonderful staff was amazing!! His acupuncturist Marianna has changed my life helping me with weak immune system and lymphedema of my right arm. In which I can not say enough about!! I have been looking for someone for years with little luck to help me with this on going ailment. The best in San Diego in my opinion and I've seen a number of them over the years. Heat packs, roller beds, traction tables and manual muscle manipulation prior to your adjustment. Brad is a phenomenal chiropractor! I have been to many chiropractors over the years, and he definitely takes the cake. Working on the bodywork industry, I get bouts of occipital and low back pain, and Brad always gets me back to feeling great! He works with heat packs, traction tables, and other modalities that get your body ready for the adjustment. I have been seeing chiropractors for 10 years and I left Dr. Brad's office feeling better than ever and so happy with my experience. I was a walk-in and hadn't gotten adjusted in over a year. I have scoliosis and sciatic nerve pain. my upper back has been so tight and bound up lately. I wasn't adjusting at first, nothing would release. but Dr Brad was persistent and patient enough to keep working at it and he got a full adjustment out of me. the tightness in the back of my ribcage was released and I was able to breath easier instantly. it was a serendipitous event just to have been out and about and see their funny sign about "crawl-ins welcome". my back has been knotted and kinked up for a while. he ended up being the most thorough I've been to in a while. the simple fact that another chiropractor was there to be seen by him shows that he is a master of his craft. highly recommend Dr Brad for anyone tired of dealing with tension and pain. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Brad for about a year now. And let me tell you.. he is a MIRACLE worker!!! I have had a really bad back for quite sometime. He has gone out of his way to fit me in (even on his day off or stays late until after I get off work when I am having horrible lower back pain and spasms. I have gone to about half a dozen chiropractor's and he is by far the best I have seen. I always feel like I am in good hands. His pricing is very reasonable too. He lets you stay as long as you like to utilize all the machines/ equipment or the massage table with heating packs for as long as I like So I can really let my body relax before he does the adjustment. I saw this guy standing outside a Target store of all places, He was offering assistance for back and neck pain. I was on crutches 7 months by this time after being hit head on by a drunk driver on the wrong side of the freeway. The heel was shattered and I had loss of feeling in the bottom of the foot and three of my toes, plus loss of movement in the baby toe on the left foot. Doctors informed me the likely hood was that the feeling would not return. I was 28 at the time and feeling much older than my years, I hurt all over from being on crutches for so long and there was no immediate end in sight to their use. Ok, this is crazy and I don't like the idea of anyone getting around my neck after what I had just been though but I wanted out of pain more so. I took a chance, I made a choice and I've never been disappointed in my decision. I got xrays for the first time and they showed my lower spine was compressed and the curve in my neck was completely reversed. No wonder I hurt so much and had constant headaches !! Since the first adjustment I've been treated by Dr. Brad Thompson not only did the headaches go away but I when I went to the grocery store, I rested my toes on the floor while standing in the freezer section and started to cry. I could feel the cold !!! The doctors were wrong and with continued treatments with Dr. Brad I not only regained feeling but my over all health improved so that I could endure the long process of surgeries I had to undergo over the past 22 years. He's seen me go from bedridden beaten down homeless and broken and through his dedication and help assisted me to become a flourishing, functioning and able to reach new levels I was told I would never see. Even after amputation was required, he's been constant and compassionate in his level of provided care. Since I had the below knee amputation, I deal with low back pain which is alleviated quickly with his professional attention. More importantly with his help, I've become an open water swimmer, learned kayaking, done the LA Marathon and reached quite a few other athletic achievements. More importantly though, He's helped me live a more productive life that would not have been possible without the health gained and pain relieved by his gifted hands through Chiropractic care. Oh my goodness! So, i had been looking for a chiro for a while and already had been adjusted by one, but for some reason i felt the need to test out other chiros to compare how each one treated me. THIS GUY IS THEE TRUTH! I was so worried about running into the quick fix kind of treatment where the chiro just adjusts everyone the same way. I feel the adjustment should be different for different symptoms. It just makes sense! So, i found him on youtube. I liked that he had been in the business for over 20 years so i assumed he had experience with many different problems along the way. For me, my worse symptom is dizziness. Not vertigo, but just a huge sense of imbalance. Also headaches everyday, brain fog, fatigue, and loss of motivation for life. I have also been to my primary care doctor many times with not a single solution to my problems. Upon entering, Dr. Brad welcomed me. He wasnt over the top with his approach so dont feel intimidated by his big stature and his sort of serious look as he listens to you. Hes actually listening to you. I was kind of skeptical at first. I also needed xrays done but his machine was down so i was even more afraid to move forward with it, but something told me i should try him out. BOY I AM GLAD I DID! He walked me in, put me on the traction table to examine me, then to the heated roller table where it prepared me for about 15 minutes for the actual adjustment. Then as i got adjusted, i felt so much relief! Not only that, but he educated me, made SPECIFIC adjustments, took his time, and even had me hang around afterward to see how i felt. The man really gave me the sense of surity of him knowing what he was doing. I bought into 8 sessions prepaid at a decent price. I will update as i go for the rest of my adjustments. read more
