I have been getting regular haircuts at Medford Phagans since 2007. Out of well over a hundred visits I only received one haircut that got me the evil eye from my wife. Normally I ask for a first year student, and after the first two or three "OK" haircuts end up with a regular barber/stylist who knows my hair characteristics and my personal preferences... giving me consistently very good results until such time as they graduate. I then start over. On the other hand, if my regular is not available and/or I need an especially good job for a special event I simply tell the staff. They have always hooked me up with a senior who has sufficient experience to do an excellent job first time. Good people. [NOTE: this is a resubmission, as my first review seems to have disappeared (with no explanation to me). Talking to others is seems that Yelp wants more detail... so I provided it with this one. She talked down about me without any evidence. It destroyed parenthood for me. My son got cancer a year later and I had to deal with getting permission from my ex for when I could and couldn't be there because she recommended custody to an abusive monster. Victoria is EVIL. My ex wanted me to be punished more!! He insisted to the court that I was mentally ill thanks still to the document from Victoria. I had to undergo a forensic psych eval which actually revealed the discrepancies in Victoria's report and revealed I'm not mentally ill so I got 50/50 back 3 torturous years later. I hate you so much Victoria. I will never forgive you.

A family member who lives out of town found Victoria online and set up the session hoping to clear the air. Victoria first met with them, then brought the rest of the family in. She proceeded to side with the party that had hired her, to the point that it was actually rather bizarre. She was rude and confrontational. The session ended up doing A LOT more harm than good, making a bad situation much worse. I felt badly for the family member that hired her - she was incompetent, biased, and unprofessional. There are plenty of competent therapists out there - do yourself a favor and don't hire Victoria Bones.
