The store looks like…read moreit's been there for a while, complete with faded signage, cobwebs, and some long-forgotten piles of merchandise scattered here and there. I visited late summer, and their parking lot was completely overtaken by table after table of what the clerk referred to as "estate items." Unfortunately, very few items in this "estate" area were priced, and it was difficult to get the clerk to settle upon a price. She displayed an uncomfortable reverence for these items, and made every inquiry tedious and cumbersome. Be that as it may, I really do love bargain hunting and discovering treasures in places like this. Here's a tip... try to engage with the older gentleman who also works at the store. He'll talk your ear off, but he seems like a really pleasant chap who knows a lot about local history, antiques and collectibles, and town gossip. I ended up not taking anything home with me, but I'd love to return and dig a little deeper. This rambling store is a bit tight, and it might be better to visit off season when there aren't so many people. I felt a little claustrophobic making my way through the narrow aisles in the store.
