It is getting towards the Holidays, and vintage Christmas decorations were out in force. There are treasures to be found, but vendors know their goods, and prices $$$ can reflect that. As many of you know, furniture is a long-term investment, and the shopping experience should come with attentive, knowledgeable staff who help guide you through that process. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt more observed than welcomed. One employee made eye contact and immediately turned away, and as we continued browsing--essentially left to "prospect" on our own--there was little effort to engage or assist us. On our way out, another staff member offered a brief hello but never followed up to ask if we needed help. When you're making a significant purchase like furniture, customer service matters just as much as the product. Sadly, this visit left us feeling overlooked rather than valued. We later found our couch at another location and will receive it in 30 to 60 days due to the customization we requested. We are happy to have found a place that truly understood what we were looking for our home.
