We were very pleased with Youngren and would recommend them for remodeling/construction projects, especially for those living in the local area of Fallbrook, Bonsall, Rainbow, Oceanside and Temecula. We found that having a local point of contact was extremely helpful, especially for a large time consuming project like ours. We conducted our remodeling effort in two phases with the first focusing on the kitchen, family room and living room and the second on the hallways, bathrooms and bedrooms. The bathrooms were completely remodeled/redesigned with plumbing changes and wall modifications. The flooring in the entire house was replaced with porcelain tile. New baseboards, window casings, closet doors, and windows were added. The Youngren team worked with us from beginning to end (design, permitting process, material selection, demolition, construction, final inspection) and proved to be very flexible when we requested changes as the worked progressed. One of the most positive aspects of Youngren is that they utilize very professional and reliable subcontractors who worked with us (and the Youngren Supervisor) to fine tune and adjust what we wanted. They included electricians, plumbers, countertop fabricators, drywall/finishers, painters, glaziers/shower glass installers, stucco contractors, cabinet makers and tile installers/setters. All were great. Always shop around, but definitely give Youngren Construction serious consideration for your remodeling project.

Even if they didn't know, every close interaction with another person is a potential threat to my life due to an extremely serious primary immunodeficiency. This is exactly why it's so important to be kind, respectful, and considerate with other people's time. You never know what someone is going through. I would absolutely NOT recommend! Pick literally anyone else. Worst company I've dealt with yet - just so disrespectful to lie and waste my time.

During bidding, we discussed solid wood cabinets and copper piping. When selections were finalized, cabinet options were more limited than we initially expected, and the contract allowed for "PEX or copper." Once we brought up our preference for copper, they were responsive and made the change. Overall, we're very pleased with the outcome and the professionalism of the team. It was time to upgrade our gross 1980's shower and cheap vanity from the previous house flip. We turned to MOST Construction of Carlsbad for full design and remodel construction services and they did not disappoint! From the early scoping, contracting and through the design process, Pernille and Morten were very professional and understanding of our vision. The contracting process was very detailed to ensure all work was accounted for, and Pernille provided numerous design drawings for us to work with. Being our first bathroom remodel, we were unaware of the amount of planning and subcontractors that would be involved. Along the way, MOST provided recommendations for vendors with the experience to match our vision. Construction began with a minor hiccup when a small leak occurred in the subfloor below the shower, but this was due to an existing hole in our drain pipe. This was no fault to MOST construction, but Morten promptly mitigated this and repaired the minor drywall damage. Talk about great service! From thereon everything was a breeze! Their workers were courteous and showed up on time each day and kept the workspace as clean as possible. Their tile tradesman Sal is a true artisan! Following the framing and hotmop of the shower pan, Sal built a traditional mortar bed tile job with custom niches and gorgeous bordering. He took his time to make sure the end product was flawless, and I appreciate that level of skill. Pernille coordinated with the Countertop Company of San Marcos to have the vanity and shower dam slab cut and installed. We handled the glasswork (shower door, backlit mirror) ourselves with Cast Glass Images of San Marcos. Everything went smoothly with drywall, electrical and finish plumbing installation. In the end, MOST Construction was a pleasure to work with. They are a team of true professionals and they will be my go-to general contractor for quotes on my next major remodeling job!

We wanted to install french doors for our home office where prior there was a huge doorway opening with no doors. Pernille was great to work with, offering design suggestions and showing us photos of similar work so we could get a good picture of what to expect. Once our doors were ordered (through General Millworks), MOST scheduled their installation to coordinate with the door delivery. They worked very efficiently, completing the job in a couple of days (other companies told us the job could take up to 2 weeks!). They also kept the space very tidy and clean. Best deck refinishing contractor I've ever used. Chris not only agreed to squeeze me in on a tight…read moretimeline, but he agreed to use Penofin natural hardwood oil on almost 1600 square feet of ipe wood deck. For anyone that's worked with Penofin on ipe before, it's an enormous amount of work. The wood is so tough that it requires special high-pressure washers, and the oil must be careful rubbed in and buffed off by hand to avoid pooling and turning sticky. Many won't even do it. Chris's guys were friendly, polite, professional, and incredibly meticulous with the work. This is the fifth time I've refinished this deck over the years, and this is by far the nicest looking result. And they were considerably less expensive than the others! Even once the job ended up being a lot more work than they probably expected, Chris was honest, professional, and insisted on holding to his original quote and date. But they did such a good job, I felt bad and ended up giving them about 50% more than the original quote for the trouble. They completely deserved it. Will happily use them again.
