He said he'd get his notes to me by the end of the day to make sure we were on the same page. No surprise, I didn't get that Email as promised. Days later, I get his notes. We confirm, YES this is what we want to do. We didn't hear back from him until a month later when we got an Email stating they aren't taking any new jobs. All I have to say is it's a damned good thing we gave up on contractors to get back to us and went with a conventional loan instead of the 203k we started with. What the hell is wrong with contractors in this area?? Nobody seems like they want to work. They all say they'll get back to you but it's crickets from there.

Fred, the owner, and his crew were competent and professional. The job was to upgrade and customize a house I had just purchased. The budget ended up being around $60,000. It included a complete remodel of the kitchen and one bathroom, practically from the studs up, and new LVP floors, baseboards, ceiling lights, and paint throughout. They also vastly improved the deck with handsome railings and steps down to the yard. Actually, if I could, I would give FJC even more stars. Of all the contractors I have worked with over my lifetime, Fred was by far the most committed to ensuring that I got what I wanted, and the most collaborative. His suggestions and creative solutions vastly improved the ultimate design and saved me money in several areas. He also has excellent taste. The LVP flooring that he found and recommended to me is stunning. I spend a few minutes every single day just admiring my floors - yes, I actually do.
