1st RATE!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! From calling to schedule the very first appt; Crystal and Stephanie at the Front Office were just AMAZING, helpful, kind, courteous and Professional. They verified Insurance while I was on the phone--VERY proficient and we scheduled the appt. Met with Laura, Medical Assistant, and she was VERY kind and accommodating to assist my 92-year-old mother to the exam room and helped her to change. Normally, we ONLY meet with the Doctor, but this was an urgent appt and had to meet with the PA, Ethan--and he was BRILLIANT!!! Conducted a thorough exam and evaluation of the area, identified the issue, spent the time needed to learn the history of the issue, discussed preventative measures, explained the prescriptions, each medication and exactly when, where and how to utilize! Provided additional information in the event things did NOT improve and scheduled a follow-up. We are VERY PLEASED and believe me, I am NOT easy to please when it comes to my mother's medical care--I will ONLY accept the BEST Practitioners as should everyone. The physician assistant Ethan has a lot to improve on. Some of my family had seen an actual doctor at this location and they highly recommended her. I expected to be seeing her or an actual doctor. Ethan was very dismissive of any condition that he could not "cut off" of my skin. When i made the appointment indicated that i had a couple of moles and some sun damage that i would like to get treated. Instead off offering options for treating the damage on my skin (retinol even) he suggested several times that i look for help at a "medi-spa" for the skin damage and to look for a plastic surgeon about removing my moles. Really??? A dermatologist is not able to offer ANY type of treatment for skin damage and moles??? If your clinic is not able to treat the things that i say im make the appointment for then why not say so when i made the appointment? He loves to hear himself talk and seems to think very highly of his opinion despite not being an actual Doctor. I left disappointed and felt like it was all a waste of my time and money. You should make it clear that to your patients that they will not be seeing a real doctor when they make their appointment. One last suggestion... If Ethan is going to get right up to your patients face and start speaking he should pop in a mint before doing so. On top of his bad level of care i had to put up with him talking right into my nose while he looked at my skin with a magnifying tool. Very unprofessional and gross. read more

After reading countless negative reviews, I almost changed my mind about coming here. I'm glad I didn't. I noticed right away how clean the facility was and the restroom smelled wonderful. First impressions go a long way. The receptionist was very nice and the nurse who works for Doctor Kinzer was very nice as well. Doctor Kinzer knows what she's doing. She was very prompt seeing me and did a good check of skin and reassured me I was okay. She asked me if I had any questions more than once. Her accent did not bother me in the least as I have seen that mentioned in other reviews. I could understand her and she understood me. She didn't insist on me buying any products, but made a recommendation based on my skin's sensitivity. I trust Doctor Kinzer and will be back to see her when needed. read more

Yes I have hit the age when I need to see the doctor for that spot on my back, arms, chest, head etc. Required a carving of the nose. I needed to schedule it sooner than my local office. This was my first time at this office. My appointment was with to Iryna Kinzer. She was absolutely a waste of my time! She was robotic during our conversation. My appointment was less than 4 minutes...she was dismissive and no help at all! I was expecting a professional with knowledge about skin conditions. Instead she appeared careless, rude and was ready to leave the room within a couple of minutes of meeting me. Her philosophy on the website does not match the way she interacted with me during my visit. I will need a second opinion. I hope she improves in her interaction with her patients! read more

Let me start off by saying I've been coming here for a couple years now and they have taken good care of me. Staff is always friendly, they follow up with phone calls and the waiting room and exam rooms are always clean. Jonathan Cox does a good job explaining issues and treatments and follow up care. However lately I have noticed longer wait times to get seen. This morning my appointment time was 7:20 a.m. and didn't get seen until 8:05 a.m. My previous times were the same situation so not sure what's going on there. I would recommend them highly but you may need to plan your day accordingly and allow for extra time for your appointment. read more

Well they've done it again. Big lack of communication. I was supposed to have surgery today in two spots. Call them to tell them I'll be a few minutes late. We'll unbeknownst to me my appt was rescheduled . One of the spots for my surgery is not even one they biopsies. It's a screwed up situation!! Not happy at all!! This is in reference to Physician Assistant Irene Kinzer. She totally discounted what my wife and I had to say about MY skin issues. She kept insisting I had dry skin when my Dermatologist back in Chicago actually diagnosed my condition and treated it. It felt like we were imposing on her time. It was just so frustrating when my wife, who has seen what happens to me, tried to show her, but she would not look and seemed rushed. It was a very frustrating experience. Really, it felt like she had one foot out the door. I am not going back. We left there saying "What just happened?" Luckily, one of the staff was able to answer our questions about what meds Kinzer prescribed. One more thing; they do not give an After Visit Summary so you walk out with nothing to refer to if you have questions. read more

I went in here in 2020 to have some growths removed. I had to reschedule my appointment due to an emergency Covid related issue and it seemed to really upset the doctor. The care I received was horrible. The tests I had done supposedly came back cancer free. The doctor scheduled me for a follow up appt and when I arrived they said it was an accident and I don't need an appt after all. Wtf? It felt like payback for rescheduling my original appt. A couple of years later the growths came back and I have cancer. Not sure if this doctor ever actually had the growths tested but the care was so horrible nothing would surprise me. I do not recommend this establishment. Very unprofessional. read more

The 2 times I have gone it's been a 2 hour wait , the people in the front desk are nice and friendly , but just to be waiting for your appointment Makes you go wild and just for the doctor to come in and speak to you for less than 3 minutes so she can treat your kids skin problem .. no offense but I couldn't even understand what she was saying to me .. I filed a complaint because both times it has been a long waiting time , the doctor didn't take my concerns seriously.. I'm not stepping in there no more it's very sad to get a kind service in the beginning but not get it all the way through once you get in the room and wait for the doctor.. And one more thing if your gonna have your patients waiting for hours please turn ON the AC if your requesting that they wear Mask at all times .. and change your god damn tv program or play some music.. who watches Deal or no Deal read more

I was a new patient today and checked in 15 min before my scheduled appointment of 240pm because I knew I had to fill out paperwork. Trust me, I know how this all works. I was expecting to be in to see the Dr maybe 20 minutes after my scheduled time. I sat in the lobby for over an hour frustrated as I watched 5 patients check in, get called in, and leave. The wait time was absolutely horrible and I ended up leaving. I won't be back to this place unfortunately. It would have been nice to get some communication from the front office staff. Dr. Cox was nice but had 2 other people with him that were not introduced and he rushed through my appointment. Hopefully what was prescribed shows results. Very rude and un helpful. We went in in the morning seen the doctor. The doctor was friendly but the receptionist was verry rude. First we tried calling 7 times after our visit because they only sent one medication to the pharmacy. So I sent my kid up there the lady was rude to her and acted like she was stupid. So I went up there with the medication to show her that they only sent one. And the same lady was rude to me like I was doing something wrong. Than she sliped up amd said the perscription was sent at 3:00 the same time my daughter went up there. So Come to find out that they never sent the other prescription to the pharmacy untell my child showed up and instead of saying hey sorry or calling so i did not have to go back up there the lady was a batch to us to cover her own ass read more

This review only pertains to one particular doctor - IRENE KINZER. She is the worst kind of doctor that has no 'bedside manner'. She is sarcastic and condescending when answering questions related to your own care. She is rushed and makes you feel like you are wasting her time because she has to take the time to answer a question. She shows no care or concern. While she will say to please ask me questions, her tone and demeanor are not inviting of a question. She offers no explanation about any treatments and offers no suggestions on after care or home care of treatments or what you may expect as far as side-effects. She explains nothing. She expects you to ask specifically about any and all treatments and if you don't specifically ask then evidentially you already know the answers. This office is great otherwise and I will continue my treatments, but only with another doctor. IRENE KINZER IS THE WORST! read more

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Johthan Cox who treated a minor rash. He was very thorough. In fact, I have seen other doctors for this condition, and yet he was the first who biopsied it. The results came back negative, but he was very thorough. While I was there, Daisy, his nurse went the extra mile for me by helping me adjust my face mask (I was wearing it upside down. LOL) Ms. Daisy as well as all the medical professionals at Pacific Dermatology treated me with the utmost respect and great care. read more
