I'm back in town visiting, and ordered crab rangoon, tofu veggies with a side of pan fried noodles. Was TOLD it would be here within 20-30 min. Fine. That was over an hour ago, so have no idea if the food was as good as I remembered. I called the restaurant. Talked to some lady that could not speak english and wanted to take me order. What? Unbelievable. The buffet looked disgusting, and that should have been a sign. Horrible service: Had to wait quite a while to be seated, served shrimp appetizers on skewers and a bare white plate, provided no spoon with soup, did not clear dishes throughout the meal, did not refill water, and ignored us for far too long for the bill. Food was greasy. The hot-and-sour soup was full of mixed vegetables. Egg roll was overcooked, dry, and tasteless. Passable Asian-American food. I ordered Mongolian Beef for delivery, and I am pretty sure Mongolian Beef does not have chicken and shrimp in it, though mine sure did. Dry rice and greasy tempura were just okay. Food came quickly but they screwed up my card approval so I had to write a check while the poor delivery guy shivered on my porch in the rain. Nothing special. They have a decent "AMERICAN" Asian food-mainly fried/ battered items.

My complaint is not with the food. The food is great. I have been going here for years with no problem. This week we had it delivered for the first time. I meant to give the guy a cash tip but when my son went to get the food he forgot to tip him. I had paid over the phone by credit card no problem. Well the next day, come to find out they decided to give themselves a 15.00 tip on my cc. The staff was helpful but then the manager called arguing with me that she trusts her employee. Why would I lie? I have been going there for 7 years with no complaints but your employee steals from me and you want to fight with me? She says if I wrote a statement that she will give me my 15.00. Will I guess we shall see. I will never trust them with my cc again. read more

Best Chinese food I've had in a long their sweet and sour chicken was amazing! I am definitely bringing my friends here next time I come to Walla Walla. Their prices were also very reasonable and fairly cheap. This is a place you HAVE to visit when in the area. read more

We have been looking for an oriental restaurant as our old favorites have fallen short recently. We are not sure if we have yet found it as my wife's Almond Chicken was soggy breaded chicken with gravy that tasted like flour and water. We also felt that the fried rice was very bland. The beef brocoli was very good was was the Kung Pao chicken and we will try again and she will try something else but almond chicken is her favorite and we haven't found a decent one in a long time. read more

One of the worst meals I've ever had. Ate at this restaurant with gal friend bad her fiancée. They are friends with the owners and eat there a lot. I guess it's ok if you want Americanized Asian food. I ordered Thai Peanut Noodles with a Mild Sauce. The noodles were way over cooked. I'll bet if you tossed them against the wall they'd still be there. The peanut sauce had no spice or kick. Tasted like they opened a jar of peanut butter, microwaved it, and poured it over the noodles. My leftovers were recycled on a friend's chickens. I've had much better noodles at street vendors, and a whole lot less $$. Very disappointed. One star is too much. read more

Long time customer changes her mind because of poor service I frequent Pacific Express often and have always enjoyed their food and courteous service. Tonight was quite a different experience and I'm not sure I'll be back. I called in my order (as usual) and was told it would be ready 15-20 minutes after arriving to pick it up - not typical when you order food for pickup. I asked if it was possible for the food to be started and I would be there in 15 minutes to pay and take it to go once it was finished. The gal on the phone said fine, we will try to do that and hung up - yes, she actually hung up on me. I arrived 15 minutes later, paid, and began to wait. While I waited 4 other parties arrived, paid for their food, received their orders, and left. After waiting a full 30 minutes from the time I paid without any explanation/apology/reassurance from the staff, I finally asked for a refund. The gal gave me a credit and I left. I hope you have a better experience if you do choose to eat here - maybe have a snack before you go! read more

This is my favorite Americanized Chinese restaurant. Is it authentic? Definitely not, but it's delicious. Their almond fried chicken is unmatched for me. I cannot find any near as good where I am currently living (a place with many, many more options no less), so I always have to stop in and get my fix when I am in town! read more

Not what it used to be. I have been going here so long I can't even remember how long it has been, because the food used to be so good. We normally eat here at least twice per month and order the 4a dinner combo. The last two visits the food was simply not as good. Rice was drier than normal, the pineapple chicken had no sauce. the spicy chicken was really tough but that was pretty normal. The 4a is supposed to come with a two litre of soda or an extra fried rice, the meal already comes with a fried rice. The last time we ordered we got nothing. And the time before that the rice was so dry it went in the garbage. Today I asked for a two litre and was told they were out. So I asked for a two litre on our next visit and was told to take the rice or nothing. Wow... Really?.. I guess I will take my business elsewhere. I even tried to call the owner to ask if we could get BBQ pork or spring rolls instead. The manager told me she would relay any messages to the owner. Lol.. ok.. sad day but I can not give them anymore of my business. Wish you luck if you decide to try it. read more

We picked out this place because there were lots of customers going in and out which is usually a good indicator. Not so this time. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken. The chicken was overcooked and tough. The sauce was a gooey mess. No vegetables were served with the chicken. This dish is always accompanied with broccoli. The stir fry shrimp wasn't much better. The breading was soggy and the sauce was sticky sweet. Again very few vegetables. The place is a rundown dump. We were seated in a room with no windows. It was like eating in a closet. The restaurant is everything American Chinese shouldn't be. Awful! read more

I ordered the vegetarian combo for two, but without eggs because I'm vegan. The egg rolls were deep fried and unhealthy tasting, the wontons were also very unhealthy tasting. We also had vegetables (very bland) and vegetarian chicken (definitely tasted packaged and was deep fried. the sauce was overly sweet and not good). The waitresses were very exceptional though, and our food came out quickly. The meat options might be better than two stars, but if you're vegan or vegetarian I would recommend Thai Ploy instead. read more
