I have used Pacific Floral Design for 2 different occasions in the last 3 months. Both times the arrangements were spectacular and lasted longer than expected. The first arrangement was the Butterfly Garden for my daughter's 50th birthday. Devin did an excellent job selecting beautiful flowers that looked wonderful from the time it was delivered to 2 weeks later. Recently I ordered another arrangement that was white orchids with added greenery. Orchids will always last several weeks as did this arrangement that still looks gorgeous. After doing a little research on local flower shops, I chose Pacific Floral Design for a few reasons: 1) Reviews said the floral designs were unique/artistic, which suited the recipient in my case (my Mom). 2) Very easy online ordering - yay! 3) Same day delivery for orders placed by 2PM. All three proved to be very true! I chose the "Designer's Choice" (standard, no upgrades); my only "guidance" in the special instructions was to avoid flowers toxic to cats. It turned out so beautifully! Probably the nicest arrangement I've ever seen from flower delivery. The grand total was very fair ($108, which included a $15 surcharge since my Mom lives slightly outside of city limits.) Placed an order for lillies for delivery at the hotel where I was meeting a friend. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to delay the order a week and they handled the change without a concern. I was afraid that as a result the arrangement would be lacking due to having to hold the flowers for an additional week. I don't what they did, but the arrangement was one of the best, if not the best I've ever received and the quality was spectacular. The flowers gave off a nicest aromas, and have now lasted almost a week before even showing even the slightest wilting. The few added accent roses are still brilliant, and some of the lillies have yet to bloom. The flowers were so well loved that my friend took them home back to Colorado, occupying an entire seat in the car. What more could one ask? I am giving this floral shop 5 stars, I went online on saturday night looking for a flower shop that was open on Sundays cause my grandmas birthday was on Sunday and didn't know what to get her so decided flowers were the best choice. Wow! After an exhaustive search for florists delivering flowers 2 days before Mother's Day and refusing to go with a generic and cheap arrangement from FTD or 1-800-Flowers, I ordered a Mother's Day arrangement at 1:50 PM (10 minutes before their local delivery cut off time) on 5/6/16 from Pacific. Their beautiful creations online were my first inkling that this company was the one and the reviews solidified my decision. Finding good service in Santa Fe is difficult and even more difficult two days before a major holiday. I quickly ordered a gorgeous arrangement and since it was before 2:00 (barely) I could count on it being delivered to my Mom same day. I called Devan to correct a mistake I made while placing the order and he was very friendly and although they were incredibly busy, he did not rush the conversation and was very polite and professional. I called again before I left work to ensure the delivery was completed and he again, as polite as can be, informed me it was out of delivery. Great telephone personality and customer service! Sure enough, my Mother received on time and LOVED the arrangement, thank you Devan! I was quite disappointed in the floral delivery I received. When the flowers came, one of the three tall floral stems was broken in two places and hanging down over the vase. When I called to advise the florist of the issue, I was told that the delivery person must have bumped it against the truck, because they were very busy and had so many deliveries to make. The gentleman told me to just simply remove the broken stem, and he asked if the rest of the arrangement was ok. I told him generally it was, but the symmetry of the arrangement was not as it should be. He said "sorry" and "Happy Mother's Day" and hung up. With the price point of flowers these days, I certainly do not expect to receive a damaged arrangement! read more

Ordered a small package of flowers for a wedding. ONLY 6 simple bouquets. The flowers arrived but weren't what we asked for. I dealt with many vendors and by far this was the most frustrating. Day of the wedding, the associate who was putting together called to try and change the time of delivery. Unacceptable. This should not be a day of request by the vendor.( and they were paid in advance) There were 6 bouquets in total, one being the brides and 5 bridesmaids. The brides was full of pink flowers, a color specifically addressed as not wanted. The associate scrambled and luckily because we were in the mountains, and in New Mexico, and the weather has been incredibly wet( essentially we provided the flowers they used) she was able to scramble and make it less bad. The baby's breath in the brides bouquet looked like it was left over from other arrangements. The Bridesmaids were bouquets were supposed to be large. It's a simple arrangement that was not executed. We had explained that we wanted "an overflowing cloud look" it was a standard The invoice had inaccuracies. Wish I bought the vases they provided from the dollar store because that's where they came from. The owner wouldn't give me a yes or no when asked if he could do the date. A lot of hemming and hawing with the explanation that he was "just really busy". Not a professional response. I finally had to drive to his store to ask him in person. You pay a florist because it's something you are expecting a professional to do. I could have done this arrangement with a little twine. Or had Albertson's (grocery store) do a better job. read more
