Finally got the "Ready for pick up" and made my way over. I arrived, checked in, and talked with an associate. It wasn't ready to pick up. They had to still pick the item. More time passes and the item finally makes it up to the counter. Then we waited....and waited... and waited. The original staff member was too busy to check us out and asked another staff member to do it. Then they never actually tell us it's ready. It's a heavy item and they don't load it or offer to load it. Clearly a two man lift item and they say I can take the dolly and don't come to help. Poor customer service. Not the way Best Buy used to be.

When another guy finally did scan or punch in whatever code they needed to in the back, they didn't even tell us it was done. We were just standing there. The lack of communication was ridiculous. Within a few days I received the replacement I ordered and within the day, it stopped working! More food gone bad! Called Ken Gough and emailed... Ken indicated he had no ability to provide a prompt a quick turnaround for a replacement. A new order was placed...That fridge did not last even 8 hours and it was not cooling! Yes - more food was spoiled and tossed out. 3rd try... I finally got a GE Fridge that worked! I have had conversations with Ken, by phone as well email. He is ineffective at any level of customer empathy, or responding in a Service minded manner! Takes an order acts rushed most of the time... he is selling only to help Ken Gough make a buck! I have asked for some consideration due to their reseller relationship with GE - that I would be provided any form of remuneration for the amount of food loss and time invested in a final resolution. NOTHING offered! This is the last time I will buy anything from F Tate Appliance... and I will be proactive to insert bad reviews to folks I know as well on the Nextdoor app for my community and Facebook too!

My service was rescheduled twice before a third appointment was finally made. The first appointment was canceled for what I was told was simply because of the rain. The second appointment was canceled after the technician called to say he had not been allotted enough time to complete the work, so he would not be coming. When I contacted the support center for assistance, the situation only became worse. Instead of resolving the issue, the representative added another service, charged me additional money, and rescheduled my appointment again. At no point did anyone take ownership of the problem or provide a satisfactory resolution. Based on my experience, Donnie, Vincent, and Milton demonstrated poor conflict-resolution skills and a lack of basic customer service. Their handling of my situation fell well below the level of service I expect as a paying Best Buy Member. I am requesting that Best Buy review this matter, refund any improper charges, complete my installation as originally promised, and address the repeated failures in communication and customer service so that other customers do not have a similar experience.
