I went to the Best Buy in Brandon last week to purchase 2 smart TV's. I stood around for a while waiting for someone to help me and finally approached to male employees for help. They both acted like I was bothering them, not to mention gave me zero eye contact. One of the men answered my question but had no social skills whatsoever. I understand that everyone has bad days but I treat people the way I want to be treated...with respect. The person that made up for my negative experience was Mia!! Purchased a new television on-line. It was delivered the next day without damage. Shopping was easy. Their on-line comparison tool made selecting a model much easier. Unfortunately they charge $29.99 to recycle your old TV unless it is one of their 2 models and only if 50" screen or smaller. I honestly dont know if he even worked for best buy but he had a black shirt that said meta, and when i asked him where the drones were and sony brand tv he took me to all of them. I had an accident with my iPhone 11 Max....totally shattered front and back. I have Apple Care and went online to make an appointment with the Brandon or Tampa Apple Store. They had no appointments available but Best Buy in Brandon did! I had an 11:40am appointment. I showed up at 11:30. Was immediately seated with one piece of paperwork to sign. At 11:42 ish, I met Matthew, from Brooklyn and I had an absolutely awesome, quick, efficient experience!!!! I have never been able to say that about the Apple Store! The members of the Geek Squad were professional! I saw constant cleaning by each and every one of them. It was an absolute pleasure to be in and out of there so quickly with my new phone, 12:20pm. i'm appalled by the customer service the manager James gave. Not helpful at all! I went into the the Brandon store today to try to solve an issue that I'm having with my Macbook pro that I purchased at the end of 2018 from Best Buy. At first a gentleman named Max tried to find my purchase and couldn't find it in their records. Max stayed calm and professional throughout the whole process, even as my frustration grew. As he tried everything he could under his power he passed me on to the manager James. James didn't even introduce himself to me, just went straight to asking for the serial number of the macbook. He then went and searched for it in the apple system and was able to find it. He came back with a smirk on his face saying you purchased the macbook years ago and it hasn't been under warranty for over 2 years. (which is not true because the apple care I purchased was for 3 years) After I corrected him and explained that due to covid I wasn't able to use the warranty in 2020, he stayed very stand-offish and sent me off to apple. I then explained that apple sent me to best buy since it's the store I purchased it from and he said "they are giving you a run around" which I think is defamation towards Apple a company that Best Buy partners with and sells their products. I then told him that I'll go and speak with apple again but is there any way for him to email me highlights of what we spoke about in the case Apple sends me back to Best Buy I won't have to explain my whole dilemma again. He said no there is no case number or email or nothing he can do to keep record of our conversation. He never apologized nor simply showed any care for my problem. He just discarded me and my issue and said Bye. That's not how a manager should deal with a customer. I really advise your company to look into retraining him or giving the manager position to another employee that has better people skills. read more

I have been a Best Buy customer for decades and I will never be buying anything from Best Buy again. Came into this store. Spent an hour looking at washer and dryers and purchased one from Kenny Stokes. I got stuck out of town because of the virus and used the washer dryer for the first time about 30 days after installation. Neither work properly. Clothes come out dirty and dryer doesn't dry well. I just want to exchange for another product not get a refund. Called geek squad and I was 5 days outside the return window and they refuse to exchange. No courtesy, because the woman said I waited to long to use it and that's not our fault. I spent thousands of dollars and I'm now stuck with a washer and dryer I don't want and don't work. We recently purchased over $5,000 of appliances for our new home from the Brandon Best Buy store! Although the initial service was fine, the sales clerk was very helpful everything changed once the appliances were delivered. The delivery person during installation quickly left without removing all of the plastic from outside and inside of the GE Profile refrigerator we purchased. Then after delivery we found that the middle door on the fridge was making a loud noise. We scheduled to have someone come out. They sent someone to pick up the fridge but it was supposed to be a repair. Final someone came to repair it. That tech found that a part was missing. So another appointment was scheduled. Then Best Buy called to say they had to reschedule. Again saying it was to pick up, Instead of coming out to repair the refrigerator (as promised). I explained again that it's repair not a pick up. So another appointment was scheduled. This cycle went on with Best Buy 4 times to reschedule and each time the customer service person kept saying it was for installation/pick up. I had to explain each time that it was for repair. Needless to say our refrigerator has not been repaired yet and it's been almost a month. We spent a lot of money at Best Buy but did not get the service we expected. I cannot and would not recommend the Brandon, FL Best Buy location. read more

I purchased Samsumg washer and dryer set for $1800 (taxes and warranty included) Dec 27, 2019. On August 20th, the motherboard went out on the washer. I couldn't get a service person until the 27th. The washer was tested and seemed to work fine. I put a load of clothes in and it started powering off and on. Parts were ordered and a repair date was scheduled for September 3rd. In the meantime, the motherboard started acting up on the dryer. Called Bestbuy and a repair was scheduled for the same day as the washer. Today is September 3rd. I received a call regarding the washer stating that 2 out of the 3 parts won't be until sometime today and that they will have reschedule my repair. However, the dryer parts came in at the beginning of the week and the service person repaired it in less than hour. I am angry because I paid almost two grand for products that had to be repaired in LESS THAN A YEAR!!! Also, as a LOYAL CUSTOMER, you would think BESTBUY would do whatever it takes to make sure my washer is repaired! NOT THE CASE! Ihave to wait ANOTHER WEEK to get it repaired! Taking time off my job and all I hear is "THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO!! SO in these COVID-19 times and a person with an AUTOIMMUNE disease, I have to go to the laundromat to wash my clothes when I have a $900 machine less than a year old upstairs BROKEN!!! When finishing the checkout it indicated it was not available in my area code, 33511. I called the store for assistance and Stefan was totally arrogant, condescending, unhelpful, and frankly RUDE. Get this; He told me, that the area code 33508 4 blocks north of him is serviced out of Atlanta, GA and he is services out of Lakeland, FL! Then he proceed to tell me "you can't get it so move on!" yup, I'm the customer....I guess. Then checking your web-site 5 minutes later the SAME dishwasher was reduced to $179.00, come on, what? According to "Stefan" there is no product available.
