They should have been less that $20.00. They (S&S) charged me $50.00 each. That Home Depot "Water Worker" tank lasted 5 weeks. I tried to buy a X-Trol brand from Schumacher and Seiler. Their price to me was Over $1,650.00. I was angry! I went to NorthEastern Supply and got the same tank for $820.00. The $50.00 connectors at S&S were $15.00/ea at N.Eastern Supply. I called S&S and asked what they were doing and I was told that even as a licensed contractor, I didn't have an account, so, they charge list price And Nobody Else does that. To the average citizen I say do Not go there unless you want to be gouged by them. Schumacher and Seiler??? Stay Away unless you have money to burn.

I was there for a modification of a long awaited quote before my departure out of the county. Referred by contractor who is doing bathroom remodel. REICO charged me $600 for the dishwasher installation. BUT- the person who installed the dishwasher had absolutely no clue what he was doing. First, he told me that the wrong parts were sent. I spent four months arguing with Miele over this. Turns out- the right part had been sent originally! Then, the guy installed my dishwasher and in the process of installing the kickplate, knocked out the electrical wire. Miele had to come do a service call even before the dishwasher was installed. All in all, I spent SEVEN MONTHS before I had a working dishwasher.

The design people we met were excellent, and gave us the vision we sought (we had a general idea of what we wanted, and they ran with it to give us a complete vision). What surprised us, is that their price quote for the materials and services to execute on the vision. We got new cabinets, new stainless steel appliances, and new granite counters. They came in under our budget. The crew they sent in was fantastic. A group of brothers, they worked hard, and delivered craftsman level attention to our kitchen. They weren't just "banging it out", but treated us like it was their kitchen. I was really surprised, and really impressed. The huge surprise came just this morning, 2 months later. The new fridge seemed to be leaking water. I called the Reico shop to get a number for the Maytag service line (figuring it was under warranty I should call them), but the Reico guys came out in under 10 minutes, identified the problem as a simple cracked valve, replaced it, apologized, and told us to call if anything else goes wrong. These guys are awesome. Great product, great price, and 5 star customer service. I told Bryon (our Reico rep) that he could take pictures of our kitchen no problem, and if he wanted a reference to just say the word. He appreciated that and said I should just write a good online review if I am that pleased. No problem Bryon, this is my honest and heartfelt review. Anyone getting a kitchen remodeled should visit Reico. You will be happy with the results.

Jesse designed a beautiful bathroom and David and his crew were excellent - very friendly and professional. We spent…read morea lot of time with Tanya going over the design and mostly wound up where we wanted to be. I agree with the other 3 star review person. None of the workers doing the construction work for Dfine. In fact one of them told us no habla ingles, indicating he only spoke Spanish. Highly suggest you find any other firm to do the actual construction. I've never had an issue with Brothers Services or Tim Kyle Electric. If you want the job done right you need a firm that has employees who are vested in the project results and speak English. Dfine's use of contractors that don't work for Dfine is a mistake from the outset. We had delays and eventually had to negotiate a final payment since not all work contracted for was completed or some services were overpriced after checking with other firms. And some work for which I requested a quote so I could check with another firm was simply done without providing a quote for which I had to pay extra for. And Ahmet, while an owner, was never a project manager. In fact there was no project manager watching over daily work. Allied Remodeling at least offers that, where one of the owners reviews the daily work and any communications. I did eventually outsource some of the work to trusted firms like Tim Kyle and Anderson Windows. Did I pay more? Yes. Did I get the work that I expected? Yes. If Dfine somehow convinces you to go with their work crew, insist that David is the primary person who deals with the work. Still not a project manager, but a cut above the rest of what they have to offer. Anyone else is a joke. The design work done by Dfine was thoughtful. The construction could have been much better. And a word about what you think you want. Marble on any part of the remodel looks great. It is however cold as hell to the touch. In the kitchen during winter the counter tops are always cold. And try backing into a cold wall in the shower. It can be shocking. You may want to consider alternatives. There are plenty of firms that can get work done in a day without using marble. My upgrade from the 1960s was better than it was. Not perfect.
