I sent out a project to multiple bus companies and Mark at Pacific Land Yachts responded swiftly with a quote for a 30 people 6 hour round trip from San Jose to San Francisco for a concert and his quote was the best priced and it had a bathroom compared to other buses. The bus was pretty nice, Mark is the owner of his company and also the driver. Mark arrived at my house 20 mins before my scheduled departure time and was ready at the venue to bring as all back. He had the bus stocked with water and ice in 3 compartments. Not needing anyone to drive back , allowed everyone to have a good time without any worries. This has to be the most miserable, irresponsible person in the limo business. My son was a guest on Mark's bus for a 17-year old's birthday party. The bus was rented until 1:30 a.m., but Mark and the mother who hired the bus volunteered that 1:30 was pretty late and if I wanted my son home earlier they would accomodate that. I said it would be good if my so could be dropped off at midnight because he had an early morning appointment, and Mark said ok. I arrived at the Safeway parking lot at 10 minutes to midnight and waited in my car for almost two hours until the bus showed up. When I confronted Mark and asked why he was so late he said, "Ask her," and pointed to the 17-year old party girl. Apparently, even though he looked me in the eye at the beginning of the night and promised to be there at midnight, the wished of a 17-year old having a good time at her party trumped his word to me and the girl's mother. He then threatened to call the police because he said I was harassing him, and the fact that I waited in my car in an empty parking lot for two hours in the middle of the night while he broke his word wasn't his problem. We were picked up in San Jose and dropped off at a club in San Francisco and then he picked us again to take us back to San Jose.
