We purchased an older home in Washington that was without a fence, while living out of state. Having three large and crazy dogs with escape potential, we needed a fence quickly. However, we wanted a custom fence that wouldn't obstruct the surrounding view, while ensuring the safety of our animals. While still out of state, I called over a dozen companies, landscapers, and contractors proposing a metal, wood, and concrete custom fence that my wife and I designed. Half of the companies/contractors never called me back. A quarter of them advised they sub-contracted out one or more of the services I was requesting, and wouldn't even provide an estimate. Bryce was the only person who answered the phone, despite being on a job site at the time of my call. I discovered that Pacific Landscape was the only company I could find that provided all the services I needed without sub-contracting out any of the work. While I was only in town for a couple days and prior to agreeing on any work to be done, Bryce found time to meet with me in the middle of the night to walk the property, take measurements, provide his thoughts/suggestions, and give me an estimate. Pacific Landscaping just finished a project in our backyard and I cannot praise them enough for their exceptional work, professionalism, and attention to detail. We hired Bryce's team for a relatively low key project involving laying sod, preparing a small area for a playhouse, and setting one large formed concrete step. Having previously worked with other South Sound contractors, and being disappointed by lackadaisical work, our hopes were high to hire someone we could trust. From day one, Bryce was friendly, trustworthy, and never once talked down to us with confusing technical jargon. He was quick to listen to our ideas, and offer professional suggestions to best put our ideas into action. A project we had previously (from other landscapers) been quoted could take up to two weeks, Bryce assured it would be less than 2 days! When the team showed up to complete the work, they showed up bright and early by 8:00 am as promised and worked hard all day making considerable progress and keeping in constant communication with us as we asked questions, observed the work, and they frequently reported back to us for our input on the details. Bryce was present throughout the duration of the project and easily available by phone or email when not on the job site (out gathering supplies or visiting other sites). Before wrapping up at the end of the second day, Bryce and his team lead a detailed walk through of our yard to ensure that everything was cleaned up and perfectly placed. We are incredibly pleased with the care they put into our low key project, one that they treated as if it was the most important project in the world. That kind of care goes the extra mile in making the customer feel truly heard, seen, and cared for. In January 2015 Bryce put in a stamped concrete patio at a cost $22,000.00. By spring we had a few hairline cracks. By summer those cracks got larger and we had many more hairline cracks. We weren't sure exactly how best to approach the project or what would be involved but after our introductory call with Bryce we had been given some excellent ideas.
