Zeny O provided excellent service! I'm from Baltimore, and people there aren't as helpful.

The person running the tasting room was incredibly kind and super knowledgeable, which made the whole experience feel both approachable and elevated. We got to try three special grower champagnes, and the fourth pour was a revisit of our favorite. The $50 tasting fee is waived if you buy a bottle, and I ended up leaving with a rosé champagne that was recommended as an easy food-pairing option. The vibe was lively, educational, and fun overall. The building requires a code to enter, and I had to wait a bit since the call wasn't being answered, but I got in as someone exited. It can also get pretty loud. The acoustics make it a little hard to hear each other when it's crowded. There's plenty of street parking, plus free parking nearby. They also change their tasting menu weekly.

I found most of the wines over delivered at that price point and the Prudhomme Rose has become a Benchmark for me and is safe to pair with every dish you could possibly throw at it. Drinks almost like a red wine while retaining the classic Champagne essence. Most wine clubs are for suckers. Fat Cork was more like having a snooty sommelier at your beck and call. Recommended.
