Dr. Nguyen is an intelligent, innovative, and friendly dentist. I've had so many great experiences at his office with him and his staff over the last decade or so my family has been going to his practice. The office has this super fun PAC-Man game and a box of little toys that keep my kids from complaining about going to the dentist. When there is an urgent tooth issue, he is able to fit us in and has been super lenient about pricing. Don't go to Pacifica Manor Dental. They do not offer conservative /less expensive solutions to dental issues at all. I have dental anxiety and this dentist made it worse! I felt that the dentist did not listen to me or trust what I said, and made me feel afraid. She was rude - and kept looking over at her assistant in the room when I asked questions. She could have showed me care, and compassion, but had no skills in this area. DO NOT go to this dentist if you have dental anxiety!!!! The dentist was dismissive of how her probes felt in my mouth - and didn't seem to believe me when I told her I was sensitive but did not feel pain. Completely insensitive dentist - she told me she would have to remove my filling to look for a cavity underneath - with no xray evidence, no cracks and no complaints of discomfort or pain - in order to repair a chipped off piece of composite that had been repaired 6 years ago! My visit was for a teeth whitening consultation. The office and equipment is modern and 21st Century. It's clean and cozy. I loved the old school video games. I wanted to play Pac Man, but I felt too old. Staff is friendly. Dr Nugyen (hope i spelled his name correctly) checked for cavities & made sure my teeth were good, which they were. OH!! There is a tv mounted on the ceiling, and I thought it was cool. My whiteninh appt is scheduled for the end of the month. I'll let you know how it goes. It was the best experience I ever had as a patient, from the moment I walked in it felt like they had been waiting for me to arrive, I was I for two root canals which didn't make me too excited but by the time Brianna came and got me settled, I was watching spiderman and getting a lot of the initial work done before I realized. The doctor came in and made me feel really comfortable with what he was going to do, he finished his task swiftly and it was painless. 10/10 won't be going to any new dentist again. After my previous dentist retired, my wife and I chose Pacific Manor Dental. They are timely, experienced, convenient and professional.

Because of an insurance change we had to leave our dentist of many years. After asking for recommendations from friends, we were made aware of Pacific Manor Dental. My wife made the appointment so I didn't know anything about the practice. Appointment went smoothly, Xrays, evaluation, and cleaning were done expertly by Sally, my dental hygienist. In all my years getting my teeth cleaned, Sally was the most efficient and painless of them all! The exam where they check your gums for pockets was my most dreaded part for me but Sally performed the exam painlessly. I hate the sonic cleaner but with Sally at the reins, I didn't experience any discomfort. Dr Nguyen did an exam after the cleaning. He was knowledgeable and recommended sealing of a few of my teeth. No pressure to get them done however. Did have a small cavity I need filled. They were able to tell me how much out of pocket I had to pay for the filling, that was nice so I wouldn't be surprised later. The office was well run and followed strict rules for cleaning. Plenty of parking also a plus. I would definitely recommend to my friends. read more
