Recently I had an accident playing basketball where the majority of my front canine tooth broke off. It was after office hours on a Saturday, but I was able to reach Dr Galang. He was still in the office doing paperwork and told me to come in! It took me a good 15-20 minutes to get there and since this was well after closing, Dr. Galang was working with no assistants. He was able to work on my tooth removing the exposed nerve that he said would have been painful if I had waited over the weekend. He then referred me to a great endodontist for a root canal. I ended up having to get a crown for the tooth, which Dr. Galang was able to not only get a perfectly matching color and material with my existing teeth, but he was also able to correct for the fact that the previous tooth jutted out due to crowding. I am very pleased with the result and Dr. Galang did such an amazing job that you cannot tell I have a crown on a front tooth. Dr. Galang and his staff always make me and my family feel comfortable. He thoroughly explains any procedures or observations about our dental health that may be of concern in a friendly and easy to understand manner. Dr. Raemund Galang, consistently the most friendly, accommodating, gentle, efficient care every single time.Simply the best from the front desk staff to the hygienists to the doctor. I'll never go anywhere else!! I am in and out at every appointment and ...I'm always late, but they always find a way to accommodate me... "Thank you for doing that !" I choose to commute from San Francisco to Daily City just for the fact that finding a good dentist that you can trust is really hard, especially in San Francisco where the cost of running a business is so high and dentists are turning into salesmen other than care providers. I should give one star to the previous dentists that rip me off but...they don't deserve my time. The way the admin/management staff handled an insurance issue (agh -- they can be such headaches!) I had with great customer service focus. I feel like I've been in good hands and since they don't try to sell you unnecessary treatments just to make a dime off of you. Friendly staff. Clean place. Has a huge parking lot, so that's a plus! Definitely recommend! I typically don't like dentists (have had some really bad experiences) and so I am delighted I've found this office! read more

Dr. Galang is one of the best dentists I have ever had. That is not hyperbole. I had dental work done previously after his hand held machine detected cavities that are easier to overlook with standard xrays alone. The dental work was excellent. Most recently, I broke a tooth on a hard pizza crust (I thought it was an almond, but later realized it was a pizza crust). Dr. Galang immediately noticed it when checking my teeth, showed it to me so I could see it myself, and then discussed my options. I decided to have an implant put in. He pulled the tooth, and referred me to an implant specialist who has decades of experience and is a former UCSF professor. Just yesterday, the implant specialist was done, and it was time for Dr. Galang to put the crown on. The shade and fit of the tooth is PERFECT (you cannot tell that it not one of my original teeth), the fitting was smooth, and everything works again like new. Like i said same office i still like the dr's professionalism no doubt about it and the other staffs are nice as always but this review is for the person who clean my teeth gosssh i cant even remember her name. So here it is, she called my name and introduced herself then when in the room shes acting weird like we are so friends for awhile. She keep on talking the whole time shes cleaning my teeth i didnt even know if she saw me im kinda want to close my mouth because my jaw hurts already but shes busy talking about her boss. But hey i went there for cleaning not to listen to her melodrama story about her boss you got to bring that up to your boss if you have issue with him not to the patient. read more

Kiaora everyone, I was referred to Dr. Galang by my daughter on February 2012. The minute I walked in, I noticed that the staff are very pleasant, friendly and didnt have to wait long. I had been seen multiple dentists in the past and Dr. Galang was one of the best and very knowledgable of all. My very first visit, he makes me very comfortable, very easy and soft while performing dental work on his patients. He had done an excellent job to perform fillings and temp crown within a week and I felt no more pain. Dental X-rays are shown to the patient while continue working and make sure the patient is fully understand the procedure. Highly recommended to those who are searching for new dentists. G Dental is the best dental office i've ever been to. Either it's the friendliness of their staff or the cool gadgets they have in the office, G Dental is simply the best. When you first walk in you're greeted by their friendly staff and you'll be seated. They have a cool LCD Sony TV in the waiting room while you wait to see the doctor. When you finally get into the dental chair, Dr. Galang greets you with his great personality and reassures you you're in good hands. I have great confidence in what he does. They have this cool camera that takes pictures of your mouth so that you can see what's going on. If you're in a for a long visit at their office don't worry, they allow you to listen to your iPod or MP3 player and even have iPods for you to listen if you forgot yours. read more

Dr. Galang and the staff are great! They are always willing to accommodate me and my boyfriend. Our experience with G-Dental Group has always been fantastic and amazing. We've never had a bad experience there. The Doctors are very informative and cares about your oral health more than anything else. The assistants are very gentle when they work on me, since I have really sensitive teeth. They make me feel very comfortable and always check up on me.
